The Frizz! I give up but I am destoned to believe LS is thei father as it is more exciting! But... storywise, it doesn't make sense at all.

Alucards_Master In the Unauthorized Autobiography... it hinted that Beatrice left Lemmony to go and marry Bertrand. Lemmony is not the Baudelaire's parent. He just happened to be the one who loved her and then his heart broke. I agree.

If Lemony was their father, I think he would have wrote it in. I think he would have loved his children as much as Beatrice.

Well I sort of saw it coming because it gives a few hints that beatrice was stolen away from him. Her house couldn't be extinguished, and it all tied together. Sort of like in the Dan Brown Novels, there's no such thing as a coincidence, the world is all one web of interconnected events.

OuRLadYOfSorRowS_221 LEMONY ONCE LOVED A WOMAN NAMED BEATRICE WHO DIED. DO U GET IT?????? Since when does "LOVED a woman" always translate to "married and had children with a woman?" If you re-read you will see he loved Beatrice, but she thought he was gone and married another. What other? Well, if their MOM is BEATRICE than we have to assume that that other man she married when she thought LS was gone would have been Bertrand. Moral of the story (this one... not ASOUE), saying something "louder" does not make it more correct. pirate

Lemony is not the father. Its fact.
Beatrice is the mother, that was confirmed. Their father was Bernard or something, wasn't he?
Now, even if Beatrice was having an affair with Lemony, at the most he would only be the father of one of them.
Now, believing that Lemony is the father is all well and good, feel free to live in your own little world. But don't start corrupting people into thinking the same way as you, since you refuse to look at the fact presented.

Lemony Snicket cannot be the kids father because their fathers name was Bertrand Baudelaire, it says so in the 12th book. It is quite possible though that he did impregnate Beatrice before she was stolen away by Bertrand

Bertrand was the children's parents. Lemony Snicket(Daniel Handler) himself said that. (I cannot remember where.)

The people saying Lemony is their father are totally wrong. Beatrice wrote Lemony a whole 200 pages on why she couldn't marry him. Mentioned in both TBl and one fo the other books, can't remember which. Also, in The End it mentions that Violet would have been called Lemony had she been a boy. Seen as their father was most definietly alive at that time how would it have been in keeping with the nameing after someone dead? Just face the fact that you're wrong.

Um....
Lemony Snicket wasn't their father.
He was their father-to-be.
It says so in one of the books!
Doesn't it? ...

I'm sorry, but is there an actual argument hidden away in that paragraph? There is absolutely NO WAY Lemony is the father. Their dad is Bertrand, he says that himself. And on top of that why would Beatrice have wanted to name Violet Lemony if he was the father? That would have completely gone against the whole name your kids after someone dead tradition.
