Nicole at the turn of attention, looked down from the small hill she was standing on. Her twirls where shinning in the male moonlight making her stick out like a sore thumb in the whole group. She listened to the fuss that was going on after Tawali, The stallion whom she met briefly. She questioned herself for a second.
Turning to face the mare it took her a second for her mind to dig through the barriers to reach a friend she met long ago on the beach. Her magenta eye's flowed off for a second before she replied. "Ever! It's good to see you agian" she smiled and then began down the hill and over near her.
Something seemed to be tensed around the group and it was not very pleasant. Seemed Inali and Ever had something wrong between them and the stallion. Not wanting to go any farther than that, she didn't bother paying attention to the rest. Instead she drifted her gaze of into the moon.

Helaku's ears pricked as Ever mentioned a female with his markings. Unless his parents had bred again, or Dyre, there could only be one such. "You must mean my mother, Delphia," he said with a graceful nod. He turned a blind eye to the tension between the two mares, figuring whatever was between them it would be smart not to interfere.

Tawali snorted as he was surrounded by more mares. He shook out his mane with a snort and pawed at the ground a little, dragging his hooves as he backed out of the middle of now four mares and Helaku. He felt edgy, the tension in the group crackling around him. Inali's admission had him baffled, and the sudden, fake smile upon Ever's face hinted to him that she also had a similar feeling. Bewildered, Tawali looked to the brown female and the one known as Nicole, one whom he'd met before in a contest and been beated by, which had created her nickname of powder-puff. Tawali screwed his eyes closed, confused and somewha ashamed that he was causing such tension. Not back more then five minutes, and already he was causing trouble. A soft snort and panic and apprehension had him stepping a little further from the females.
He didn't want to be the cause of any trouble, yet without realising it, yet again he was causing it. His ears lay flat against his skull as he tried to come up with some kind of answer, mouth opening and closing till he eventually closed it and frowned. He noted the icy glare he got from Ever and he swallowed hard, eyes glazing with upset at the trouble he was causing. He'd never meant for such things to occur, he only wanted to be a friend to all, or at least attempt to be. It wasn't in his nature to be malicious or nasty, unless he was truely aggitated or aggrivated by someone. His wings drooped a little, neck bending gracefully in a show of very deep confusion and upset.
"I... I didn't realise..." Tawali sniffed a little, suddenly more then a little uncomfortable by the situation he found himself in and very unsure of what to say and how to say it. "I like you to Inali, but I don't think we are on the same wing length of the kind of 'like' involved..." He said, offering a small smile that didn't quite reach his blue green eyes. "I... I don't know why you like me in that way, but... but I don't want to hurt anyone and I'd rather keep you as a friend... Inali, I'm sorry." He turned his face from her, shame rising in a red blush over his cheeks.

Inali's silver eyes widened in hurt for a minute, before going back to their normal size, though they were glazed and showed no sign of life. "Of course," she responded robotically. Of course. Made perfect sense. Why would a stallion like Tawali, someone whose personality she had grown to be so fond of, want anything to do with her? It made perfect sense.
"I have to go now. I'm afraid friendship is fractured now. I doubt I'll be seeing you again." Inali was unable to keep the hurt and puzzlement out of her voice. She hadn't done something wrong, had she? Evidently she just wasn't good enough for Tawali, or really any other soquili she had ever met. That idea stuck in her mind, driving the red mare to the brink and back, her mind reeling. Staggering once or twice from her own emotionally burden, Inali abruptly wheeled about, trying to gallop a short distance away, still feeling overburdened.
Unbidden, tears came to the soquili's eyes. She didn't want to cry- she NEVER cried. Crying was for soft mares who enjoyed rabbits and flowers. Crying wasn't for her- but cry she did, all the same, unable to control her sudden, gulping sobs. She couldn't run away like this- she could barely gather her breath enough to cry! It didn't stop her from trying though, tripping over her own hooves in an effort to escape the scene and her own heartbreak, which seemed so audible in the awkward silence.

Nicole who was absolutely pointless at times cocked her head to the side and pinned her ears back. The mare's soft serene movements were over came by the tention. Muscels began flexing as she wanted to speak out. wanted to help but, yet she knew nothing of what was even going on she listened carefully catching tiny words that ment something as the both seemed ashamed of there doings.
A deep sigh was let out as she looked around in ponder. If she had apeared earlier maybe something would become clear she only caught the words 'Like, you, and sorry' her mind was not anywhere in earth right now, and she seemed her eye's lost in a daze. he mind raced as the tention between the two seemed to be getting greater. Looking at Nicole in a state of tension you would see her body flex as her muscels tried to work long with it. Making her body really of balence, swaying left from right.
Suddenly Nicole was back in her own world, the sound of faint tears made her drift back and see what was going on, along with coming back a jolt of her body which frightened her and made her jolt forward a bit. Catching her self she resumed her position and looked at Inali, Nicole bearly knew this mare she caught her name is Tawali's sentance and she remembers briefly meeting this mare. Nicole's blank face enlightened with a soft smile as tiny words flooded out of her mouth. but, then agian you were speaking to someone who does like rabbits and flowers and is not afraid to show it.
"It's alright to cry..." Nicole's mouth muddered out clear enough for barely her to understand. Those words were them only thing Nicole remembered about her past. Something not even Nicole talked about, having her sister who was not much of an example and all. As a foal Nicole remembers a faint black figure standing infront of her...telling her it was ok to cry. That is all she remembers from that untill she came to this land. "I was told it's ok...to cry. Sure, it may make you soft, but it makes you able to do things others can't" her whisper wondered off for a second as she looked away "Others can't show emotion...others are afraid to" There she had done it agian. Nicole opened her big mouth in a conversation that was not hers. How stupid, she would never be like her sister a smoothe talker who never remembered her past and never bothered finding out.

Ever Sacrifice was ever the proper lady, when it came to her own emotions. It was true that she did have feelings for Tawali, but then again, she wanted to keep the friendship she had with him first. She listened quietly to the scene going on around her and decided to shrug the whole tension off. She pawed quickly at the ground as if bored to pieces before prancing around the group, nipping Tawali and Nicole in the rump as she passed.
She was feeling very foalish now, but there hadn't been much happiness for the mare this last season and she'd rather not talk about it to another living soul. The mare hadn't been home since her meeting with Helaku's mother, Delphia. "Yes, it was her that I met. She is a very warm spirit to be around."
She flashed a wicked smile at Tawali, her stance spoke loudly of nothing but fun and jest. She tugged on a braid and then side-stepped near Nicole. "You never thought you'd have admirers. Goes to show that this realm isn't all that lonely for you. We're just few and far between."
She turned her head to Nicole and nickered softly. "I am very glad to see a few more familiar faces. How are things with you? I hear on the rock that you have a love interest?"

Tawali snorted as Ever pulled on his braid. Although she seemed to have brightened up a little, the fact he had made Inali, such a tough little Soquili, cry made his heart sink into his stomach and he wasn't sure what to do with himself. He knew she wouldn't want to talk to him, but she needed comforting. Nicole stepped away and spoke quietly to her before Inali ran off, and Tawali's head lowered, ears turned back, wings drooping visably in his own upset. He knew he had probably lost a friend now, and that made him feel even worse. Rubbing his face against his left foreleg, Tawali took a deep breath and realigned his face, a smile gracing his features that didn't reach his eyes, the green blue depths still swimming with uncertainty and saddness.
"Lady, this Stal'ion never expected t'find hisself the object o' desires." He coughed, clearing his throat. "As for bein' a'lonely, at this rate, it looks as if Ah's shall for'ver be lonely, lady." He turned his head from her, looking in the direction Inali had run, wondering how many more would be leaving his small circle of friendships due to his ability to completely miss what others were portraying to him so clearly. One hoof pawed the ground, and his wings rustled loudly as he shook them out, stretching them out in preparation to fly. "Ah'ave seriously messed up this morn'... An' Ah ain't even been 'ere more'n five minutes!" A low grumble of anger growled in his chest.

Her light blue eyes still showed the fear, uncertainty, and sadness, the sadness only brightened more as she heard him speak. She didn't know exactly what to do in this kind of situation except to give a few choice, aiding words. She nudged him gently, speaking softly, "One never knows when they will be the desire of another. That's why communication is always the key if things are ever to be understood."
Oh how that was true for herself. She never knew that one stallion could even find her remotely enchanting and yet, there had been one. But her feelings had not been the same and the desire was quickly stomped to dust like a snake.
Ever pulled her ears back a bit at his low grumble. She knew she, herself was partically to blame for the sour welcome turning worse. If she hadn't been in her own mind... If she hadn't been mopy over her own matters... There were countless "ifs" for this young mare. "I apologize for my cold welcome," she said, lowering her head down in sincere apology. "This fall has been difficult and I've had so few to speak to about the matter that is troubling me." And she still did not want to speak of the matter. It was her own personal issue, though she did want someone to hear her, but it was hers and no one else could take her sin from her. "No sad faces among friends, remember?"

Tawali looked at Ever slowly, eyes glinting with confused ponderings as he frowned and lowered his head, neck arching gracefully. He hadn't meant to make her feel as though it were her fault, at any stretch of the imagination, it was his, for setting foot in a place of raw feelings and troubled minds. Heaving a deep chested sigh, Tawali puffed out his chest, snapped his head up, and spread the old Tawali charm over his features. Although a ghost of Tawali's normal, bouncy self, the stallion attempted to get himself back on track, flicking out his blood red mane.
"Ah need t'find Inar'li an' apologise to 'er... Ah' can' leave our frien'ship jus' hangin'..." He smiled tightly and nudged Ever back, muzzle pushing up under her jaw. "An' Ah' apologise t'ye. We mus' talk. There is much we need ta discuss, lady." He smiled again, one ear swivelling, green blue eyes soft, his scarred eye appearing a little clouded in the morning sunlight. His tail feathers clinked as a breeze shook them, his mane feather tickling his neck, as well as his dreamcatcher feathers floating across his chest. His markings gleamed like glass and he flicked his braided tail out, pawing the ground with his lone red leg.

He seemed to be his usual self for the most part, but she could still tell he was hurt over the whole thing. She nuzzled under his neck and then head-butted his shoulder. "You're forgiven. It seems we've all had a rough season. And frightfully cold too. I'm not used to this kind of weather." She turned her head in the direction that Inali had left. She knew he would need to do the right thing, but he shouldn't put it off for too long, that would not help the situation at all. "If you plan on making things right, you better take flight now and catch up with her. She'll run until she's down to the ground with her emotions rolling right behind her. We can have our talk later. I'm a patient girl," she said with a wink before moving to stand near Nicole, Helaku, and Chaser.
Those three had been awfully quiet in the last few mintues and she was hoping they didn't feel too uncomfortable. She gave a soft nicker to Tawali and a brief smile.
