Kamin cocked his head slightly at that. The idea of keeping a pup away from others was completely foriegn to him. In his home pack, the parents were not the only raisers. It was more of a pack project, for most of the small group were related in some shape of form. The clan, witha number of around ten, all pitched in when one of the three couples gave birth, and socialized them from a very young age. Being kept away from others might leave to problems later in life, or so the sea pack had assumed. Apparently, it was situational, as the Malu before him was in no wa soically behind any other he had met.
"You should go south some time, during the winter maybe when there are more rain clouds in the sky. The sun is not so bright during that season, but the ocean is still as breath taking." He smiled slightly, remembering all the days he had spent staring out into it's never ending horizon. The sheer vastness of the seawater was enough to make his head spin.

Vulperomes stayed silent as the beautiful female walked over and began speaking, taking in the information and allowing the other two to forget his presence. However, as the day dragged on and he noticed the females discomfort, he finally stepped forward.
"Milady." He stood, and bowed his head politely before looking up and into her fair eyes intensely, "Shall we take this inside? I fear it is becoming much too warm for my taste." Below his diplomatic nature, accented by his goatee and antlers, was something rather flirtacious, but hard to resist.

Imogen's gaze shifted suddenly to rest upon the fox-colored Malu, his enigmatic presence almost enveloping her with every word he uttered. His empathy caught her off-guard and for a moment she felt like she would be wisked away by the wind.
She looked again toward Kamin, who sat in his soothing dignity. The white female felt uncertain about joining another Malu alone. Her stance shifted to an evern more uncomfortable one as she recalled memories of her childhood; being teased and picked on whenever on her own.

Kamin nodded at Vulperomes, smiling slightly. What a good idea. Perhaps the male wasn't as bad as he had first come to think. Obviously a flirtatcious being, but there was nothing wrong with that. As long as Kamin didn't become a third wheel in the group, and they kept it relatively on a normal level, he believed he could enjoy both Imogen and Vulperomes' company. "Yes, let's do go inside. It's getting awfully hot out here, and the dry heat just isn't my up of tea." The male rose, stretching out his stiff legs. His tailed wagged slightly as he turned towards the temple, waiting for his company to walk with him into the shade.

Vulperomes walked slightly behind Imogen, so she wouldn't feel overpowered by him, but watched her discreetly from the corner of his eye. His natural smile never faltered, eyes remaining half-lidded as they went from the brightness to the shaded interior of the temple, keeping them cool despite the desert temperatures outside.
"I prefer the darkness myself." He spoke truly to the other two, "It's much more comfortable, though light is a gift that I do not take for granted. Maybe someday we can do something to allow you to come outside?"

Imogen nodded, silently concurring with the sleek male's comments. The darkness had been her home for as many years as she had been alive, so to her... the comfort of a sunless sky was something she preferred as well.
The sheer female trotted onward, side-by-side by Vulperomes, eyeing him somewhat nervously, catching his regal gaze upon her almost every time she took a glance. Her heart jumped at every prospect; Why was he staring at her? Was he disgusted by her disease? Was he one to judge her?
"I don't think we've been introduced," she piped in suddenly, breaking the awkward silence. "My name is Imogen..."

"Imogen." He said the name as though it left a wonderfully sweet taste in his mouth, "A pretty name for a pretty female, if I may be so bold as to say." He smiled, then looked forward again, sensing her discomfort at being watched... well, not so much sensing as seeing.
"My name is Vulperomes, you may shorten it with a nickname if you wish, though I have preferred one of my own." His tail flicked lightly, in a carefree manner as he stared straight ahead at where they were going, "Is there any place you happen to like to frequent, Imogen?" He asked politely.

For some reason, Kamin had grown uncomfortable with the conversation. He wondered for a moment if he should leave the pair and go find some other way to occupy his midday, though he was very much so enjoying their company. Hopefully, the two wouldn't become lovebirds and he'd be able to establish himself as anything but a third wheel. Though it was understandable that Imogen was wooed by the mightily charming Vulperomes, Kamin hoped neither would act on any impulses while he was around.
His attention turned to Imogen once again, awaiting her answer so he would know where to head to.

Imogen quickly negated the male's question with a shake of her delicate head. "I just roam around the temple and explore in the night," she said simply. Her lucid eyes met Kamin's for a moment, a worried expression shining through them. For some reason, she felt as if she could trust the sleek, gray male despite his silence. Or perhaps it was his silence that attracted her. The foxy male seemed decent indeed, but his suave manner filled her with anxiety.

Kamin gave Imogen a reassurring nod, and turned to Vulperomes. "Why don't we go by the fountains? There's shade, fruits and water. Perfect place to have a conversation, I would say." He smiled and walked forward, headed for the fountains. When the group came upon them, he chose one that had quite a bit of shade from the sun, and a nice supply of water. He lapped up some for a few moments, silently thanking the god of oceans for the idea to go near the fountains, for he was often thirsty. Turning back to his two companions, he smiled and sat down once more, leaning heavily on the stone basin to his side. The Malu was not a natural leader, and after leading the way towards the new conversation place, he felt it was enough to last him a week. He was done now, and would follow a conversation without posing the main questions. That he would leave to either Vulperomes or Imogen, whichever chose the job.

Vulperomes gladly followed the male, sensing the female didn't like his strong advances. She was definitely more of a challenge than the usual female. He figured he'd lay off a bit. That plan was nearly destroyed as he read Kamin's posture, settling silently by the fountain. Apparently he expected Vulperomes and Imogen to keep the conversation alive, which would make it difficult to not come across as strong. Still... he'd try.
Vulperomes settled down across from kamin, leaving the middle open for Imogen. Letting his gaurd down intentionally, the ridiculously handsome male pawed playfully at a stray leaf in the shade. His ears flopped carelessly about as he searched for a topic, "So when did you all come to the temple?" He inquired randomly.

ooc:: Just incase it seemed confusing... Kamin's sitting with his /side/ against the fountain, not his back. So he'll be facing both Vuleperoms and Imogen. Not entirely sure why I made him sit like that... It just sort of happened. XD
Kamin nodded to the other male, thanking him silently for taking the conversation from him. He wasn't a natural at leading talks, and the idea of doing such was quite unbearable. His head turned towards Imogen, then back to the space between the males, gesturing for her to make herself comfortable. He then took a sudden interest in the water circulating in the basin to his side, watching the bubbles and current with nearly glued eyes. He would take a backseat to the question, following the ladies first rule and allowing the female in the group to speak first.

Imogen took a seat inbetween the two males, allowing a light spray of mist coat her unpigmented fur. She gave a soft smile in Kamin's direction, appreciating his silent support. Turning toward Vulperomes, her nerves calmed slightly, she smiled toward him as well. "Why did you come to the temple? Was the world too bright for you, as well?" she asked him curiously, wondering if there were others out there that shared her feelings. The world hadn't been necessarily cruel to her, but it hadn't been too kind either.

Vulperomes raised one ear thoughtfully, letting the other droop with his usual careless demeanor as he thought of a quick way to answer her question, "My home didn't want me anymore." He offered her a smile, "If that makes any sense. Though I daresay I got used to it's shady qualities. This desert is not a fun place for me to be." Still he didn't frown. Life had too much fun to offer to be disappointed with it all the time, "Is it a comfortable place for one such as yourself?" He asked the radiantly white female, feeling quite smitten with her appearance anyway. He didn't fool himself into believing it was her personality, he simply didn't know her yet.

Kamin took his turn to throw in a quick response, and it wasn't a long one. "I come from the southeast, by the sea." He nodded towards Vulperomes, indicating the information was more for him tha for Imogen, as she had already heard the story. "The Templ. though quite hot, is tolerable, I have come to realise." At this he smiled some, and didn't give anymore information than what was said. It was true, yes, that in recent events he had come to enjoy his new home and its inhabinants, but why he would not say. Instead, he stood as the foxy male's question to the female was posed, and waltzed silently over towards a fruit tree. It was a low one, more like a bush really, and one he had visited on those long days when he had spent all his time before the shrine and was absolutely starved. Today, he wasn't quite as hungry, but he figured the group could use a snack. Delicatley, he picked three medium-sized fruits from the plant, and moved back towards his new talking pals. He tossed one at each of the others' feet, and sat down himself to munch. "They're sour," he remarked after Vulperomes was done speaking, "but in a good way."
