Bobby finished the last of her sandwich, licking some of the crumbs and last pieces from her hooves, "I guess that wasn't the best phrase to use." She sat back and thought about everything Natsumi said. "You will know when the time comes. For me, my heart fluttered and flipped..." okay, so that was her first love. The next, what thirty-two, were just on whims. And the final, Pyroth, well, that one was subtle. She found herself falling in love, despite her efforts not too.
The pig put her now clean hoof on the gecko's shoulder. "If it is meant to be, it'll happen. Try not to force it, though... that just makes things.... more complicated."

Natsumi listened again, Bobby was probably older and wiser than her, right? Okay so that wasn't always true, but in this case it was good advice, no matter the age or experience.
Natsumi shifted as a hand reached her, already her mind wanted her to look back and check to see if anything was coming, but she'd been fighting it. It just wasn't normal to act like that, and she tried very hard to be normal. As normal as one could get with scales and a tail... But normal was relevant, and here it seemed that you were abnormal if you were missing normally weird traits. Strange how it could change like that. "Yes..." She agreed to the 'words of wisdom.' Forcing it was only making things complicated, and it was nice to hear someone else say.
With that somewhat resolved, and being told ot go with what her heart said, and at the moment it seemed to clearly be saying neither of them. But who, if anyone? Those were thoughts for later. "I am sorry." She looked back, smiling some. "I seem to have.. ah. Rambled. Have you been well?"

Bobby's throat rumbled in some strange form of laughter, "I know it is somewhat difficult to understand..." she wanted to add about it taking her long enough to figure that one out.
"Me?" the pig pondered, "Doing well. Spending time in the jungle is always refreshing, just what the doctor ordered." She paused, "Okay, that was most likely an inappropriate term."

And that was a nice comment too, the younger girl was fairly happy not to be the only one in the boat of confusion when it came to that matter. That was what fuled the life of TV though, so it stood to reason many people felt the same. But again, you missed those things when you were knee deep in it. But if she idnd't like Newt... How would she tell him? He was still nice, she still liked him, as a friend atleast, and the last thign she wanted to do was hurt his apparently fragile feelings.
Natsumi gave a tiny smile, glad that she was doing well, and then a soft giggle at the last comment. Innapropriate indeed, silly Island. But Natsumi wa sone of the less caring Islanders, afterall.. Aubery had been one of the doctors, and she was quite nice. And.. That head honcho Moreau she was happy to not encountered just yet. Sabin... Well, lets just go with the 'if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.'

Bobby used the silence to her advantage. She leaned over, and pulled from her basket a can of juice. Of course, she could pop the top, so instead the pig used a think hoof tip and punctured a hole where it would originally open.
Grunting in satisfaction, the pig guzzled down her drink. Clacking her jaw happily, Bobby turned her attention back to Natsumi. She covered her mouth when a quiet burp tried to escape. Her cheeks flushing slightly, the woman turned her head to eye the gecko. "So, what about the others? This... Thom? What do you think about him?"

Her thoughts wandered alittle, causing her sholders to jerk ever so slightly when the noise of the can poping open broke the silence. Nothing to worry about... She reminded herself.
She ignored the various noises, actually sometimes it was considered polite to slurp and slop, that and she had far worse eating habits. Atleast thats what she thought. To her, eating bugs topped anything Bobby could pull.
She gave a reassuring smile when her eyes caught sight of a light blush on the other woman's cheeks. Thom? "Eh?" She blinked, giving a thoughtful look. What did she think about Thom? Well.. "Ah.. I think Thomas-kun is wonderful." She shrugged alittle, smile widening. It was easy to smile about Thom, he was one of the people she was most carefree around afterall. "He is..." She continued, or tried to, but what did she say about him? There had to be more than that... And there was, but the only thing that seemed to come to mind was that Thom was just... Thom.

Bobby looked over from behind the juice can that was precariously held between her hooves. She smiled when Natsume did, a bit of juice dribbled down her chin, and then down her neck; followed by... well... you know. The pig put the can down, licking any residue from her lips. She was still smiling, "Ahhh.... is there something I should know about him that you're holding out on me?"
Ahhh, the sound of romance blossoming in the air..... actually, it was her stomach, demanding sustenance. With a disgruntled poke, Bobby reached in and grabbed a large stuffed mushroom. How she loved mushrooms...

"Eh?" She flushed alittle at Bobby's look and words, "Nono..." She protested, shaking her head. Alot of people seemed to assume that about them didn't they? Well okay.. Newt and Bobby. That didn't count for alot, and really she couldn't blame Bobby for the idea now that she thought about it. The way she was talking sounded like she was that smitten word. Which only made her flush more.
"Thomas-kun is.. Just a friend." She nodded, looking as though she might drop it there. But the highschool girl in her just couldn't, so with a light bite on her lip, she leaned a bit closer, as though telling a horrible secret. "He is kind of cute, though." She admitted, ending with a soft giggle, returning to normal. Oh yea, just like highschool. Tittering and teeheeing over the cute athletic boys.

Bobby leaned in, completely going for the secretive mode. She chewed on her mushroom as Natsumi broke the news. "Cute, eh?" she snickered a little, careful to not spray and mushroom on the girl. "And what makes you say that? Is it his muscles, eyes.... something else?" So, Bobby had never met Thom, but by the gecko's reaction she could surely imply some things... nevermind she mentioned he was turning into a snake... though... "Hmm... he is turning into one large..." Bobby coughed, not sure if Natsumi would get her meaning, "large snake."
Her eyes twinkled. Even if the girl missed the idea, it was at least a little entertaining for herself. Bad Bobby she mentally kicked herself. What was she thinking!? What if this was the kind of thing her daughter Patty had come up and told her?

Natsumi allowed herself ot grin and blush alittle more when asked for specifics. Ah, she was so bad, fawning over some guy when she still had to figure out newt.. And Thom, of all people to be fawning over. Their relationship was a weird one to begin with. And she'd never let it slip out that she'd shared a bed with him.. Twice. Meep. "Well... He was a soccar player," She stumbled over the word soccar again, but letting that fact speak for itself. "He has a great smile, tan, and he had a small beard..." she gestured to mimic the shape of his goatee, "Not anymore." She added, since he'd lost it last change. At that she finished her description of positive traits.
She didn't catch the innuendo however, she did catch something stange aboutthe sentance, but she couldn't place it, leaving her with the feeling she missed something. But since she couldn't think of what, she repsonded litterally, with a nod of yes.

Bobby leaned back, giving the both some room to breath again. She took a deep sigh, reminescing (sp?) about the time when she lusted -yes, lusted- after Trevor. Her eyes had glazed over, but when she look back at Natsumi, she nodded, "Yes, small beards... or any bead, is definitely a bonus.... makes them a man!" She tried to flex a plump arm -to no avail- to prove her point. Well... if you thought about it that way... Pyroth had a beard..... Mmmmm..... Bobby hummed to herself a bit.
She noticed the girl didn't get her meaning. That was okay... she was still young. Though, she had been pregnant, so not quite entirely innocent... It might have been the language barrier, though.

Mm, beards, especially Thom's, he'd worn it quite well. Certiantly better than some of the little stubbly things some of the guys in highschool had tried to pull-And failed. Natsumi couldn't hold back another giggle wehn Bobby spoke though, with the attempted flex, covering her mouth some to try and stifle it.
So did that mean the rest of the guys in Japan weren't men? Mainly.. Taro. The thought of just how much that might bother him made her have to hold back another laugh.
Her tail shifted in the sun, reminding her that it's heating rays had done it's job and heated her, now it requested shade... What a pain it was to lose your ability to sweat, constantly having to shift around just to get comfortable. "Ah..." She spoke up after a moment of silence, still nervious at being outside and now with the overheating issue, well.. it was time to take her leave."I should be going." She gave a wide smile. "It was wonderful talking with you... I shall see you around then?"

Bobby nodded. So, it was time for them to depart ways. "Yes, you shall see me around. I am hard to miss," the pig winked. "It was nice talking to you again, and I hope you work out the, ah... male dilemna."
She didn't make an effort to get up. "I think I'll stick around here for awhile longer, enjoy they view and so forth."
As Natsumi left, Bobby watched the gecko go. If the gecko had looked back, she would have seen a frown on the woman's face. The pig was thinking about the girl's child, and what a shame it was the Natsumi wouldn't have the chance to enjoy the glories of motherhood. And then, reflected on her own children... so far away.
