Romanichan BunnyCupCakes Alchemist_Wrath There are also love triangles with Yuu Watase. In Fushigi Yugi there was Tamahome, Hotohori, and Miaka (Would you include Noriko in this triangle?) In Absolute Boyfriend there is Riiko, Soushi, and Night. I haven't read any of the others yet. Although, I did read Imadoki but didn't notice any there.
From Ceres:Celestial Legend aka Ayashi No Ceres
:3I think they are pretty common. It's an easy base plot that can be played off in many different ways. And there is kindof a triangle in Imadoki. You have Tanapopo, Kyo, and the girl that Kyo is engaged too. (I forgot her name.)

Tickle Toe Bob I've also noticed something else that occurs. In Alice 19th and Ceres, Alice and Aya both pass out when they are nude eek It is funny, but weird.

Not only does she have some guy who cares deeply for the main character, but they always seem like someone who would be better fit for the main character, or if not that, but a bigger favorite for the fans.
Examples:
Fushigi Yugi: Miaka and Hotohori or Miaka and Tasuki
Epotoransu! Mai: Mai and Takuma
Ceres: Aya and Yuhi
Alice 19th: Alice and Frey
Imadoki: Tanpopo and Yoji
Genbu Kaiden: Takiko and Tomite
Absolute Boyfriend: Riiko and Soshi
They all have those guys who you wish the main character would at least really consider.
Another thing is all the girls who like the main guy of the story. They're always such mean or cruel girls that you don't feel sympathy for.
Fushigi Yugi: Yui
Epotoransu! Mai: Aizawa
Ceres: Miori
Alice 19th: Mayura
Imadoki!: Erika
Absolute Boyfriend: Mika
They're all basically characters that are disliked or are just mean (at first at least).

:3yeah, i noticed this as well also, is it me or do the the main guy characters in yuu watase's work seem to look kinda similar (e.g. the hairstyle)
