Rubbing against the tree a bit to scratch at an itch, Mut purred at the little pup. "Morning! Can't sleep all day, can ya?" Going back over, she sniffed the pup before licking his face. "I'm Mut'salama, what's your name?" Random joy, thy name is Mut.

BLINK. It liiicked him! And Legeti's ears went upright as he sniffed the lion cub.
"My Name's Legeeeeti." His tail began a mile a minute as he gave a big pup-smile at Mut. Kabichi meanwhile, kept her eyes peeled, looking around nerviously.
Hopefully there wasn't any rogues!

The cub giggled, rolling back a bit. "I'm Mut'salama!" Oh, she was so very delighted!
Danzi soon returned, dragging behind him a gazelle carcass. What luck, it had run right into a tree. Okay, so it had tripped on a root, but still! It was thankfully small enough that the cubs could eat their fill, and there'd be enough that he could find a cheetah or something to give it to. He'd seen the lithe creatures in the distance. They were very thin. Way too thin in his mind.

FOOD! Kabichi trotted to the gazelle, sniffing it, then looked up at Danzi meekly. Maybe he was OK?
"Thank you, Mr. Biggerlionpleasedon'teatme." She said, shyly, before she dug in. Legeti giggled, tail wagging.
"Are you from here?" He asked, happily. He loved most people.

Please don't eat me...? The lion chuckled. "I don't eat other lions." He lay down, grooming at his mane a bit. At the same time, his ears flicked about and listened for signs of danger.
"Yup! I was born here!" Her nose twitched and Mut gravitated to food. "Oooh, food!" Nuzzling against Danzi as thanks, she quickly dug in with Kabichi. Food!

Kabichi seemed relieved at this, then nudged Legeti at the meal before continuing to eat. This beat rat Anyday! And both cub and pup were contented.

Rolling over onto his back, Danzi let out a yawn before settling down for a small nap. After hunting, he rather deserved it.
Purring, Mut ate quite happily, leaving the choice bits for Kabichi and Legeti so that they could get good food in them.

Kabichi munched for some time, leaving other choice bits for Legeti before laying down contently, purring quetly. With a hearty meal in her, she felt much better. Legeti, meanwhilem made his way towards Danzi, and sat, pawing him.
"Whatcha name? I'm Legeti!"

Flopping over herself, Mut soon fell asleep. A full belly always made the little cub tired, and this was no exception. A purr rumbled from her throat, signalling that her dreams were pleasant.
Opening one deep emerald eye, the adult couldn't help smiling. Children were his weakness, he made no secret of it, and a whole other species didn't make a difference on this. "I'm Danzi. It's nice to meet you, Legeti."

"Wanna play?" The pup tilted his head, tail still wagging.
Kabichi, meanwhile, had trotted over to Mut, content with food and a new friend, and flopped against her. She was soon out, and not a noise from her was heard.

The male lion laughed a bit, gently pulling the maned wolf pup down. "Not now, it's time to rest. Come, sleep like these two." He had to fight a yawn of his own. Meeting new lions could sometimes be tiring, after all. Especially when said new lions were cubs and full of energy.

Letting out a sigh, Danzi rolled onto his back. "Because full bellies need time to digest before movement is made." He let the yawn out, maw stretching wide. Closing his eyes, he attempted to fall asleep. Mmm... Sleep...
