Maybe like a lawyer role would be cool.
Like designate 2 laywers one for deffence and one for perscution.
And then another 5 secret roles known as the 'Jurry'.
The lawyers would be known but like have a periment g teamer on them. xDD
And before some one is jailed a topic is made where 2 laywers present there cases on the person. (The jurry should change every round. Kinda like jurry dutie.)

I really like this idea, although I don't know how well it would work, considering we'd have to get it all done within a day, every day. XD Plus, it doesn't quite fit in with what's going on now.
My liking of this idea is probably because I'm playing Phoenix Wright and am currently in lawyer-fanboy mode.

Moo Ell DeGei Im liking some of the things mentioned, and have come up with a few myself. Killing off people randomly is definately a no no, but thats what inactivity takes care of. Usually people with the roles stick around, so more people with them should be a good idea, but it has to be done in a way where the other players dont feel left out. Another thing Ive been messing around with is setting up ways to "win." So far every game ends with a GCD-er win because a killer is never the last one left. So another way to win would have to be devised, which leads into scenario games, where each game has different rule set ups and different positions. Ill show you what I mean, after I figure out a way to display it. I also think that appointing two people to lead a game could work as well, one as a writer and one as a director. The director gets pms with protections, kills, clues and whatever else, gives the writer everything in one email, and modifys the memberlist as neccesary. That would make GMing much easier. It's pretty stupid to give almost half the list a role and it's unfair. ILU MOO ELL. Wait...20 roles? gonk Wtf?

I have already designed a lawyer role as well as a couple others to balance it out.
As for the inclusion of factions, I have a scenario like that as well, Ill put up a thread about all this stuff I/MTX have been coming up with once I beat this part of Kingdom Hearts 2 Im on.
