Kethara opens her eyes then smiles taking a sandwhich as she sat up. Crossing her legs she sits near him munching on the grilled cheese. Setting in down on the plate she turns her body slightly toward him "So why are you scared of me? I haven't done anything to hurt you have I?" she lays her head on her arm just watching him.
She was concerned that she might be causing him to fear contact more then helping him. Shaking her head she frowns "Lucius I like you, but I'm I'm scarying you in anyways. I'll leave you alone. You won't have to see me ever again." she close her eyes placing the plate down as she look like she was going to stand.

"I like you too, and I would like to see you as well..." He said, his arm reaching out as if to stop her from standing. "There is no need for you to go..." His voice had a small amount of pleading in it.
"I mean... that well... I really haven't found someone that I can really talk to... and well... I feel like I can talk to you..." He smiled at her, hoping he could convince her. "I just... think... that the whole touching thing... needs to be handled slowly..." He blushed. "I just... want to work it out complete, and I don't want to freak myself out..."
He reached out and took her hand and gave it a squeeze. That didn't bother him much anymore. "See?"

Kethara looks down at his hand in her. Looking back up she nods taking a seat down next to him "Alright I will tryi to be careful then. I'm staright forward so I normally just show someone how I feel." looking away she brushes her bangs from her face. "I will let you decide what will happen how does that sound?"

Lucius smiled warmly and squeezed her hand again. "Thank you..." He bowed his head and keeping his hand on hers he started to eat. "This must be a pain in the a** I'm sure... and I'm sorry for that..." He chuckled weakly. "It's just who I am..."

Shaking her head she blushes "No its not I'm just scared I'll cause you to run off. I don't want to do that." looking up at him she nudges him lightly in the side "You up to a dance afterwards? It might help." glancing down at her plate her wings fluttered.
Yes this hard, she was fighting herself as she wanted to just tell him or show him she thought he was hott. But she knew that wasn't a good thing to do. So she would play nice.

It was Lucius' turn to blush. "I can erm... try... I've never danced before..." He admited weakly.
No, he did not count the times when he was a child and he danced around the house... That just didn't count at all, and was embarassing to think about on top of it.
He smiled and her and bowed his head, pushing his plate away slowly. "Maybe you can teach me?"

Smiling she nods standing "Sure I think I can teach you. You don't mind slow dancing do you?" turning she grabs the remote pressing play on it before she sat it back down. The music starts playing. It was a slow beat that would be simple to dance to.
Holding her hand out she smiles "Not much contact other then your hand on my waist. Its simple really, just move your body to the beat." she tilts her head to the side. It was the only thing that she knew might help him get used to her being around.

Lucius nods his head, and takes her hand, then puts his hand lightly on her waist before nodding his head to her. "Okay then, what next?" He asked, feeling all sorts of not used to this. He was so worried he was going to screw up and embarass himself.

Kethara smiles then lifts herhand to touch his cheek "Just follow me. Don't look down just look here. Only look at me, I won't let you stumble I promise." with a nod she wraps her arms around his neck as she moves slowly to the music. Her eyes never left his.

Lucius felt himself smiling as he let her lead him in the dance. It was nice, he had to admit, to have a bit of physical contact with another person. Books only offered so much cofort, i.e. they offered an escape. Of course, he was starting to realize there was more to life than just books, and that opened his eyes a little.
Not that he was going to just give up books! Oh no! They were still his protection from the harsh outside world, in fact part of him was screaming at him for being so quick to admit that this wasn't so bad, part of him could just see Kethara setting him up only to rip his heart out and then laugh at him. As much as he wanted to silence these dark thoughts he knew that they were part of who he was right now...
He was a recluse, and it was something he was going to have to work on if he was ever going to perhaps live a normal life...

Kethara lifts her hand to brush his bangs from his bangs "See is this so bad?" she lets her arm wrap back around his neck as she took a small step closer "Now I'm going to let you lead. I'll follow your lead, jjust remember I won't let you stumble at all. You have my word." she closed her eyes actually enjoying the closness.
She knew she should be leaving him alone, afterall he was scared silly of her, but at the same time he said he liked her. She couldn't but wonder as a friend though.

Lucius lead the dance, he wasn't particularly good at it, but he did have the natural gracefulness of being a Fae, so that helped a little. He chuckled to himself as he tried his best to lead her like she had before, even as he kept feeling his internal warning sirens going off at full blast.
She's just going to hurt you! They were screaming at him, and he knew he should listen, but... He didn't know, he was honest when he said he liked her... After all, she was pretty, and she seemed interesting enough. So he tried something new.
"So... What do you like to read?" He wanted to brick himself for it afterwards, because she seemed to have been enjoying the quiet.

Looking up at him she smiles "Nature books. And every once in awhile a good romance novel." blushing she shakes her head "I know that must sound strange, but its the truth." looking back down she laughs softly to herself "You knows for someone who said he couldn't dance, your doing a great job." she bites her bottom lip, did she dare move closer. Looking up at him she took another step toward him.
If he didn't like it she back up, but she knew that the best way to show she wouldn't do anything to hurt him was to show him.

Lucius smiled at her and chuckled. He was barely noticing her moving closer, mainly because he was so intently focused on keeping his feet from winding together like two angry snakes.
"Fantasy novels myself, and philosophy books... I found the Leviathan earlier this week, never got around to reading it," He laughed sheepishly, feeling like he was admitting things he shouldn't. "Sometimes books on war... but erm... If it has words I'll read it..."
He has read a few of those romance novels too... They made him blush so bad, and afterwards, he never really could look at them the same again.

Smiling Kethara lets her hand wander to run along his cheek "I'll have to take a look at those books. They sound interesting." she was glad that he wasn't pulling away from her, this was a good sign to her. Leaning up she kisses his cheek before she whispers to his ear "I think your getting use to me. Which I'm glad." pulling away she bows slightly to him when the music ends.
She didn't want him to freak out now, brushing her bangs from her face she stood there looking at the floor for a moment.
