Well, that somewhat covered on of the board topics. "Yes, they will start learning English, mainly from you. Just as if you were thrown into a group of people who only spoke Spanish, or some other language, the dragons start learning English, mainly to get along with everyone around them. It's much easier to demand food or a head scratching if the person you're demanding that from can understand what it is that you are demanding."

"Oh, cool!" Olly smiled. For some reason he was eager for Trace to start talking...the little dragon was quickly becoming his best friend, closer than he was with any of the other children in D-corp. It would be good when they could communicate and actually understand eachother, even though Olly was getting good at interpretting his companion's body language and all the other little noises he gave.

Yup, her mommy would not like that. She wondered how long it would take for them to learn English, but it sounded fairly soon from the way the man was talking.
At the mention of head scratchings, Bob raised his head and nudged Ala's hand for one, making a sort of 'whoof' sound.

Peri chuckled a bit as one of the dragons decided that a head scratching sounded good. Grinning, he figured that since neither of the two kids had asked another question, he'd just go onto another board topic. "Brass dragons have two breath weapons. One is a plain fire attack while the other is a sleep gas attack. The sleep gas is their favored one, knocking out anyone that gets near the dragons. Their victims often wake up to find themselves buried up to their neck in the ground and forced to listen to many stories or the dragon just rambling on about something."

Olly smiled, and listened closely. He'd been very curious to know exactly what Trace would be able to do when he got older, and he smirked. Sleep gas, eh? he almost chuckled at the next part...that sounded like Trace. Even though he couldn't handle english yet he still chirped, barked, and trilled endlessly, along with a multitude of other noises, and some odd words which Olly now knew must have been draconic.

Alaqua giggled. She could see Bob doing that to somebody. That sleep gas sounded like it could come in handy, definately. She patted the wyrmling's head and he gave a sort of laughing noise as well. That was definately one way to get people to listen to him!

Peri watched as the two kids grinned. Apparently they could see their dragons doing that. "Well, if either of you don't have any more questions, class is over."

Olly perked. "Oh, one more...will they be able to fly, when they get bigger?" he asked, looking up curiously. He felt it was kind of silly, since the dragons did have wings...but the wings looked unusual, not really built for flight, to Oliver at least. Perhaps he was wrong...

Oooh, that was a good question, Ala thought. They did have interesting looking wings. The girl was thinking too much to hear Bob snort about such a silly question. Of course he'd be able to fly!

Peri blinked. "Yes, they'll be able to fly after a while. I'll be teaching a class once they get old enough on flying." With that he gave a wave of his hand. "Okay, class is over."
