..Servatis a periculum, servatis a maleficum...
My friend and I practice telepathy together all the time. We knew we were some how related to each other in a previous life and we also are like sisters. So every once in a while we light a candle and burn incense. When weexperience telepathy it's live seeing us travel to the other person and telling the other the message. For example, she sees herself crossing a bridge over a wide canyon to reach me. I see myself opening a door into a void with starlight steps with her at the bottom. Despite if we reach each other or not it takes a lot of focus, even with our strong bond. And a lot of the time if our mind wanders we end up sending each other a mental picture of ourselves instead of the message. Since we practice telepathy together a lot we have a stronger bond. We get very strong and vibrant headaches when one is trying to contact the other. We don't really "hear" the message, but we get a sense to do something. If she wants me to get on the computer I'll suddenly feel like I want to. It's quite fun, but boy the headaches. x.x
...Save yourselves from danger, save yourselves from evil...

Years ago I had met a man in an AOL chat room.. I didnt know anything about him. Not his age, gender, location, job, likes, dislikes - nothing. We became friends just because neither of us had anyone else to talk to.
Neither of us knew much about the other for a good solid few weeks. I dont really remember what sparked more 'personal' questions but we began learning a few things about the other. He would commonly tell me of experiences he had gone through, or was.
So, we tried it one day - We both closed our eyes and sought the other by any means possible. I was growing a rather harsh headache and was about to let go. It was then I was able to see a Silver Unicorn and heard a mans voice. Tears streamed my face for no reason at all.. We talked about it later and had concluded with both found the other.
I also had another friend, Erik. Me and him were quite close, and had talked of moving in with each other some day (he lived in another state). I was online one day and feeling very sick and stressed. I began mentally calling to him. He appeared online within 10 minutes. Said he woke up, hearing me calling to him.
I tried again a few months later, I was in dire need of someone to talk to and no one else was around.. I didn't hear from him again since that day.. I seen his name online and asked.. His brother told me he had suffered a severe heartattack, despite him being very healthy.. I haven't tried telepathy much since then..

Now here's a topic I can relate to very well...sort of. I don't communicate telepathically with people. I talk to animals and plants and spirits telepathically. I've always known how to do it, but I only became aware of it in 7th grade. It occured to me that not everyone talks to animals and plants...and hears the animals and plants talk back. And I know it's not an overactive imagination.
A good example of this was when I was at a large Horse Festival in Vermont. I was wandering the grounds looking for the pony that I was going to ride for that show. The grounds were enourmous and I realized it would be next to impossible to find my pony by just walking around. So, I reached out to him with my mind and asked him where he was. Immediately I knew exactly where he was and I could hear him call out in greeting in my mind. So I took off down the road, made a sharp left into the tent lots and it wasn't long before I ran into him. I win.

o.O I don't know... but me and my best friend Kassandra can do it at close-range. I'm going to try to contact my girlfriend soon, but I want to make our bond stronger first (we've only been dating a week or so).

I believe in it. I've gotten some of the common experiences others have. Thinking of someone and then they call/sign on, thinking of a song and it suddenly plays, ect. A few times, my best friend Beth will be sleeping over, and I'll swear she'll have said something so I'll look at her and ask "What" and she wouldn't have said anything. Other times, it's just the opposite. I'm not saying anything, but I'm thinking something, and she hears me, but vaguely.

Yes I believe it. I believe everyone has it, to some extent. I've had all the usual experiences happen to me - knowing who it is when you pick up the phone/wanting someone to call and then they do, being able to finish someone's sentences for them, and on odd occasions, spontaneously having the introduction of a song in my head, turning on the radio only to hear the same song, just starting the first verse, having already played the introduction, people calling you, but not out loud..all that.

I believe in telepathy. I've actually done it once before. I was explaining to my friend about the new movie The Messengers, trying to get her to remember it, but she couldn't. So, I just "programmed" energy with a picture of the creepy little boy in the shed as clear as I can get in my mind, and sent the energy to her. But I had to be more specific with the sending of the energy (I had to visualize the energy arriving through her window, around her, and sinking into her, all the while keeping concentration on that same picture, instead of just "aiming". I tried just sending it up in the air and let it find her, or just aiming, but she couldn't get it clearly, so...). She told me she saw the boy, and that she remembered the movie. =p

I believe in it. A couple of weeks ago acutally I could feel my ex's feelings... Her new boyfriend had really hurt her and when I had gone outside to see them talking, I walked closer to the bench where we all (group of friends) usually sit. I passed them and I could just feel this wave of anguish and sadness.
sad Not the best experience, but it's the first one that popped into my head...
With my pets... I don't know, sometimes I think I can tell what my pet cat is trying to say to me by the look in his eyes, other times it's just a stare. I don't know though. I don't get that feeling with my other cat or my dog. Would that necessarely be telepathy?

Telepathy is something you can develop, even with sending strangers messages! One way to practice is go shopping =D When you have your groceries and you are waiting in line play with the people ahead of you in line. If his/her back is completely to you visualize your message (in text, also I say when their back is turned to you in case you are the type that has to stare to concentrate, that way they don't get creeped out thinking you are trying to explode their head with your mind) leaving your head and entering theirs, see it kind of sink in and dissolve and then repeat it (while visualizing them doing what you ask them to), be sure to send the same message. It helps to imagine it coming out of an opening in your head and entering an opening in their head so play around and see what works best for you, I am usually saying the messages in my head to go along with the visualization and maybe see a door opening in your forehead and the message entering a similar door in their head.. It also helps if the person is spacing out and thinking about nothing, that way they are more open to incoming thoughts. The messages I usually send are really simple harmless ones like turn around, or sometimes I cant reach the little spacer things that divide your groceries from theirs and I ask them to grab it for me. I also usually phrase my words so that it sounds like they thought of it themselves that way no one gets weirded out or begins to think that they are hearing voices. Of course I also send semi naughty messages to my boyfriend when we are fooling around, say I want him to do something to me I give him the idea to do it via my thoughts and will. Keep practicing whenever you see an opportunity and eventually you will get better. Of course use your new found powers for good and not evil =P

Me and my mom never finished our sentences when with eachother because we all ways know what the other is going to say. If my brother is feeling bad or something bad happens I can tell you when it happened and usually a bit about it. I.e. He was over at a friends house and I suddenly went to find my mom because I thought he was in trouble but when he came back home he said he was just thinking about his old school. We both dropped out because of the treatment of students. I don't know I believe in it to a certain extent. Allow me to get my smiley abuse out of the way -> heart blaugh 3nodding whee eek Okay I think I'm good...

ResidentOfDarkness I think my dog talks to me telepathically eek really!? wow...im not the only one! sweatdrop i thought i was alone on that one and everyone thinks its strange for me to believe that... so anyways my answers is yes i believe. but i believe its more then a connection and radio ways kind of thing, more like... some people...soul stand out more then others and the more in tooned the both of you are the better the telepathy range i have a really strong bound with my mom and one day at work i started getting jumpy and nervous and passing like i was locked in a small cage, finaly i could not take it anymore went on break, and called my mom skipped the hello's and went to whats wrong and she broke down crying telling me what all happen and it was not good gonk sad also there was this one lady that came into the store and all the air seemed to be sucked out of the room and i had troubles breathing, she lingered for a bit then desided to check out and it was the only one to help her. so when it came time to give back the change i tried not to touch her but no such luck, i touched her hand and froze. everything went black! really i could not see a thing and i felt like i was drowing (yes i know what that feels like dont recommend it) and i could not move, heared screams and i wanted to scream but i couldnt. finally she moved her hand and left the store. as soon as she let go my sight slowly came back it was like a dreamy fog at first and i was gasping for air and very cold. so i went outside into 100 degree weather 'to clean the widows' to the store. i better stop there confused

I totally believe in it... Some peoples heads are open books, I've incidentally let slip some information I hadn't been told because the person was practically broadcasting it mentally.

I totally believe in it! Sometimes I think my boyfriend and I are a bit telepathic; we tend to say things that the other was just about to say all the time. XD My boyfriend jokes that when he finally comes up to visit we'll be able to just read each others minds and never have to talk.

XD My boyfriend jokes that when he finally comes up to visit we'll be able to just read each others minds and never have to talk. That's because you have a bond with him. Anyone that you have a really close bond with, you can do that with. It happens with my boyfriend and me. And it has happened between any really close friend I've had. It's not really telapathy in my opinion.
