I'm reading the GIT thread in the Mothership (interesting how we can still go there even though the UFOs all left the map!). They have transcriptions of conversations with UFOs. Check this bit out:

Anybody seen UFOs or actual [NPC] aliens in Towns lately? I still have never seen one. The T.A.L.O.G. topic in GD has tons of cool screenshots their members have taken of encounters with UFOs. That will probably be the only way I'll ever see them. sad
