Mkay, so what was he supposed to do?

Shut down every airport in America forever? Was he suppose to shoot down the hijacked airplanes with missiles?

How the hell can you stop a plane from crashing into a building/ground when it's in the air?

try hunting down the ppl b4 it happens. idk, i think that's a good idea, though idk. and just for the record, just as an interesting fact:

when clinton was pres. they attacked as well. he didn't waste his time with iraq like bush was doing, he went after osama bin laden himself. he even gave the direct order to kill him if found. and they were going to to. they almost did. they JUST MISSED HIM. like if they were going to send the missle at 6, he left at 5. pt is, he actually did something about it when he found out what was going on. bush totally went off topic here!

im sry, but, WHAT THE FRICKEN HELL DOES IRAQ HAVE TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT OSAMA BIN LADEN ORGANIZED AN ATTACK ON THE WTC, PENTAGON, AND WHITE HOUSE?????????? (that was the plane that landed in penn, the poliet refused to hit the white house)

if someone can explain this, plez do

I remember being an Al Gore supporter at age eight myself.

It was something inside of me that kept on saying something about something bad happening if Bush was elected.... And then 9/11 happened.

bush reacted well for 9/11.... sure it was bad.. but the gov't did all they could... sooo unlike katrina

"Politics is just like Body-Building......A bunch of oily people posing"

On Larry King Live they were impersonating politicians, and the guy who impersonated "Ahnold" said that. Larry was laughing so much from the damn-near-perfect impersonations, that they had to go for a commercial break xd .

yea, ignoring a terriorist attack to read "my pet goat" or w/e to first graders. idk about you, but this is just the type of leader i want. b/c that's what he did when they first told him. instead of going to do something, he went to go read a book. yea, that's GOOD

bush doesn't have to baby feed everything, he can just say the word... and someone is off to do the work for him.. like.. the secretary of defense
it's bushes job to react the first.. but he only gives orders... and even if he did cancel that reading... i doubt there would be much that he couldv'e done. (youv'e been watching that 9/11 movie haven't you? that director is politically democratic... waaay too liberal... we want... someone in between

also... even if we DID stop 9/11 there would be way less airline precautions... and it'll probably be like.. 10/27 or.. 11/25.. it's just a matter of time before something bad happens that snaps us out of a complacent attitude

She's got a point. Someone was going to do something like this sooner or later. We took that negative, and turned it into a positive; we now have more airport security. They wouldnt let me bring my BB gun through the airport gonk xD.

But stronghearted has a point too. Iraq had nothing to do with it. If one person is corrupt (Osama or Saddam) you don't freakin kill thousands and thousands just to get to him. There is always civilian casualties, but that was just rediculous (sp?)!

I agree Saddam did HORRIBLE things, but what gives Bush the right to kill tons of people just to find him. What gives Bush the right to take punishing Saddam into his own hands? As I've seen in a couple of signatures: "I support our troops......I don't support the deserting liar that sent them to a pointless war."

I think we should do away with the electoral college. That way each person is represented equaly in elections. I mean we count the popular vote anyway.

He broke them. Not the people that live in Afganistan, and Iraq. Why do thousands of civilians have to die for his mistakes.
