64!!!!
And I realy hated Save the Homeland...
it ends! it is one year long...
then you have to rebuild your farm...
*cries*
It only held my attention long enough to beat it like three times...
When I got to year six 4 times on 64...

Choice: HM64
Why: Straight up, it got me into the series. I've played it a million times and there's nothing that will ever make me give up my 64 as long as I have that game. It's my first love.
Admittedly StH was a fun one, even though I couldn't get married or play past year one. It was fun despite that and the music was awesome! MM and AnWL are good too, but I'm not fond of the design style used for MM. Back to Nature's lag annoys the crap out of me.

Harvest Moon: 64.
Not the greatest graphics, but it is the best!
Character interaction is #1. Marriage system is the best. Gameplay was the best in it's time. GREENHOUSE! Challenging! Mines actually makes money. Photo album was L337.

now this i know is late but better to add then keep my opinion to myself xp
i cant really choose between mine i guess
1: MM (i think its cute and i like the game play)
2TOT ( it keeps my attention and for me thats good and i like the new animals
3:STHL (i like this one cause i like the fact that its different from the others
the characters are cute and its simple and who doesnt like
their first game)
4:ANWL ( I like this one cause it was the first one i actually owned and could
play as a girl)
5:64 (i guess since i barly got to play this one about two years ago with all
the awesome graphics in games latly i couldnt really enjoy it to
its best i still feel its a good gamebut i gotta see if i can a bit
farther in it ive only made it like half a year)

I'd have to say the Nintendo 64 version.
I disliked all the GB/GBA/DS type games.
I haven't really gotten into the Game Cube one either.
Not to mention.
I remember days on end I'd play this game.
Up until the wee hours of the morning, farming away -- sometimes on year 5 or 6.
It just seemed the best to me.
Not to mention, even though I don't play it as much or don't play it for awhile -- some things just push me back to it.
The N64 version is a hard habit to kick.
