[Shoe] Peachie_Pie hyper_gal741 Can you be religious and still be a lesbian/bi/gay. I mean i have read in the bible that we are all going to hell, and i have read where it was accepted. I am confused, but what is your input? I dont want to go to hell cause i am in love with a girl. gonk If God created everything it means that he created sin as well. Sin is the absence of God, just as darkness is the absence of light.

The problem I am noticing here is that people can't quite accept that fact that one can be believe in God.
So, before any of you post saying this isn't true, just remember.
We do not all believe what you do and that believing in God, heaven/hell, angels etc. is their way of life, MY way of life.
Do not try and change that. <3

Yes you can be religous and still be gay. I believe that God said to abolish the old testament and I follow the new one. In the new one it says nothing about gays being wrong. God made me the way I am. Plus you have to realize a big group of people choose wish scrolls to publish in the bible. There are scrolls written by God, Jesus, and the Disciples that weren't put into the Bible because of the culture at that time.

well im bi and buddhist and idk much about my own religion[sad i know =/]. i went to a private christian school for 8 years so... *sigh* if god made u the way u r....how can he send u to hell for being who u r? and hes supposed to forgive u of all of ur "sins" right?[i used quotations because i dont believe that being bi or gay/lesbian is wrong] and so on.

I think god might frown on it but I am sure we arent going to hell just because we love someone. smile I have been going to church since I was five and I have been a lesbian since I was 13 I got kicked out of church but I still believe in god so it evens out.

Well for one thing, its possible to be religious but not of a faith that condmens homosexuality.
And also, the bible doesn't really say anything at all about lesbians. It most just says that boys aren't supposed to "lay" with boys as though they were women, i.e. buttsex.

XP ok, i usta sorta believe in god and stuff but now i don't so yeah anywayz, if got is as good as they make it seem. then you should be okay if your gay or whatever because he'd forgive you of your sins, that's why he sent his son to die on the cross... to pay for our sins XP so yeh, don't worry about it. it'll all be good in the end(for those of you that do believe in god)

There are many, many religions other than Christianity there is buddism, muslim, pagan, wicca, satanism, and many others. Yes homosexuals and bisexuals can be religious and yes there are gays and bis's that are Christians, I have met some, but I have also met one that said he could not be Christian because of that, he said it would be hypocritical, it is all in what people feel is right.

Though it also says the sodomy is a sin, sodomy is not just buttsex, it is anything that does not produce a child, so masturbation and oral sex are sins to, which would count also include lesbians, infertal couples, and old people. Those poor, poor old people. *Tear.*

The way I see it, God created people with freewill, with the ability to make their own choices, he did not create sin because there are 'sins' now that are not in the bible, it doesn't say not to take a shot of heroin in the bible, because people created that sin, God just created the freewill that they have to do such. (I'm not Christian I just love a good debate.)
