Someday I would like to know how to shout out " ドリャアアアアアアア!" perfectly.

All tough-guy-like. B)

the r should be more like tokyo pronounciation (that means roll it a bit whee )

To MM C: I would LOVE to see you walking down the street and all of a sudden yell that.. xd

To: Aiko: Now I'm going to practice saying that.. XD I shall roll my Rs... I will roll them good.. heart

Oh, you better believe it. B) I'm going to shout ドリャアアアアアア all night long! Ah, the flames of determination.

lmao. I shall join you XD We'll wait till everyones asleep... then.. when they least expect it... " ドリャアアアアアア" XD

well おりゃ━━━! Is easier and canbe more feminine.

I don't know whether I have a favorite, but I happen to enjoy
うにょうにょ: something moving in a possibly somewhat disgusting (気味悪い)fashion; crawilng as a worm might. (Hmm, not a very good description, but I can't think of a better way to put it sweatdrop )
どろ〜ん Usually describing how a ghost apppears
どよ〜ん: "Heavy" air; when the a person or group of persons is so depressed that the air itself seems heavier with the weight of their sadness.
ドーン!/で〜ん!: A loud and ostentatious appearance/arrival of a person or thing; describing a very large and heavy object
じょりじょり: a bristly sound, the rubbing of a bristly object against something else.
フワフワ:fluffy
もこもこ: fluffy but lumpy like wool still on the sheep; usually refers to a great(er) amount of the substance/objects
もっさり(もっさ): A huge pile of objects or extremely large and dense fur or hair.
ポリポリ and ポカポカ also rank high in my favorites! biggrin

I'm not sure that I really LIKE this word, but I think I hold it closest to my heart: プニャプニャ "punya punya"

I guess it's like "puni puni" in meaning... My host sister used to poke me in the chest, say プニャプニャ, and run away laughing at me. I guess it was funny...

... little brat. sweatdrop

its what you shout, at the right moment when:

~fighting
~about to do something outrageous
~battle cry

I believe the Japanese call these Gitaigo (or giseigo/giongo).
Some are sound effects, others are used as actualy words or adverbs :3

I like pika pika too. Pika pika da nee!

Other ones I like:
peko peko - stomach growl
poka poka = warmth of the sun
paku paku = opening and closing mouth, eating, gobbling. This is where Pac-man came from!
kunka kunka = sniff sniff (I don't see how. xD)

One of my favorites!
oro oro = shock, surprise, befuddlement, confusion. (You don't usually say it, though, unlike Kenshin.)

Here's a large list of these, if anyone is interested:

now i am veyr angry to know that this lsit doesnt include common words like:

こく
ふるる
カタン
ポタン
ETc。

I think i should contact the other and tell him to read manga or childrens books confused

I like puni-puni, pika-pika, kira-kira, and doki-doki. They sound funny, and their meaning is also fun.

lol. I dunno if anything knows this, but "jyada jyada". It's similar to "bling bling". Describing the sound of something shiney. ^^ A have a couple of gangsta friends from Japan that use that sound effect as a word.
