Kelello giggled. "Fine, then. My name's Kello!" Her expression brightened at this.
She moved towards the rocks. Her emerald eyes were full of curiousity as they locked with his. "Rocks?", she asked, sniffing at them.

He wagged his tail, yipping 'Kello' a few times, prancing around her as if something very neat had just happened, before she sniffed his rocks.
"Yeah! " He padded over proudly, shoving one rather boring, transparent lookingrock away from theyr shadows. In the sun it shimmered, inside appearing to have a rainbow. "These are neat rocks. " He said matter-of-factly.

"Pretty rocks," Kelello chipped in, nodding briskly.
She grinned at the enthusiastic puppy, her spirits lifting. Maybe Kutu really wasn't a hyena; after all, he was just too nice. Maybe he was his own species, a 'rinse. Whatever he was, his unexpected friendliness towards her puzzled the young puppy. Had she really made a friend?
"Are we gonna be friends?," she asked, with a happy wag of her tail.
Suddenly, her ears perked up as they caught a sound. A shadow stretched towards them in the distance, and soon the heavy breathing of a hyena reached her ears. Panicking, Kelello pushed Kutu with an extended paw.
"Run!," she gasped.

"Course! 'n i can visit you sometimes, you're right next door, right? " He wagged his tail, bowing as if inviting herto play, then sudenly, she pushed him. At first, he ethought this was a game, and almost retalited, then he heard something too, with his large ears. And she gasped, and he blinked, suddenly afraid.
He made for hisrocks, grabbing almost all of them and dashing a few paces away, then turning and realising one had been left behind; the one with the rainbow inside. He frowned, and moved to try and retrieve it, but now he could make out a form movin towards them, brownish and big, and he looked at his newmade friend ith confused green eyes, then turned tail and ran as fast as he could.
