I feel comfortable with my GIB ID displayed, but most of my work for the agency is straight forward and in the guild. Agents that are actively trying to downplay their identities probably show move their IDs elsewhere.

So, what exactly is the purpose of the G.I.B.? I interpeted it as enacting negotiations between Alien lifeforms and gaia. If the life-forms are hostile it may require that we protect gaia.
Personally, I'm 50-50 on the hidden guild thing. While i don't think that the guild should be hidden, I think the standards for entering should be higher than "Will you pay for this suit?". Maybe instead of using the main thread, we should start doing 1-on-1 recruiting, so we don't get people who think we're here to kill aiens.

Or perhaps we should set up a mandatory interview process before acceptance?

I believe we should make a thread on the G.C.D saying we are here to trust the aliens, and help them with whatever they need. We just may take violent actions if you hurt any of our fellow gaians. That is the point of Men in Black, and that should be the point of Gaians in Black.

Kittori GIB should go Underground. No one should know of us because of course... There's going to be Hostile situations.
People don't know what are cause is..
Heck.. Half of us don't even know what our cause is.
We should have limited numbers...not a large group.
GIB should be able to disappear and not draw attention to itself, but we've done just the opposite. i agree

Personally, I'm here to help Gaians. Hopefully that'll just involve some inter-species dialogue until we know for sure what these aliens want, can help them get it, then send them on their merry way.

In all seriousness, Sir, I do believe that we should remove our thread in the GCD and only keep our meetings here, at Headquarters. Perhaps we should only send a few field agents out into Towns at a time or perhaps we should meet at a "house" instead.
And those few agents we send should be the agents who are experts at disguises, so that Town members don't raise a call "OH NO!!! BEWARE *alien* IT'S THE G.I.B.!!"

A growing sentiment among the citizens who do not trust us seems to be, they want to know what we aren't telling them.
But, I feel we should keep our investigations private but it seems the citizens just want to know our findings.
If we show them we are not hostile to aliens then maybe we can begin to rally support.
