Eep! I'm so, so sorry I haven't been on in a while! I'm suprised my thread got so many answers! Thanks, oh, and I have finnished a new cake, I havn't decided what to call it, or maybe it already has a name, but...
It's a classic contrast between chocolate and vanilla, both layers about five centimeters in height, and is covered in vanilla/mocha froth with a tiny dribble of caramel in the center. I love it and so do most!

My best cake ever would have to be a delicious cake I got from Bon Appetit magazine. The batter was made w/ almond paste and almond extract (the best smelling stuff ever!). It was three layers, with fudge between each layer. It had fluffy Mascarpone frosting, and I decorated it with chocolate shavings and almonds. I made it for Easter- it was delicious! razz

Take your favorite box cake mix. Add the required amount of eggs and a can of your favorite soda. Bake as required. It's delicious. Trust me.

The best cake I had ever made was a strawberry cake with real whipped cream icing amd accented with strawberries.

The best I ever tasted was...wedding cake.
