I never played Suikoden III, because it's the only one in the series that never came out over here (UK). I don't know why this is, but I hear Luc dies in it. sad

I would therefore like to donate a SACRIFICIAL JIZO to the guy, since he was one of my favourite characters in Suikoden I and II. He was so badass in II and he kicked the hell out of that Sasarai and his damned stupid hat!

And couldn't he have been in Suikoden V at all? I don't know the exact timeline between V and I but it's not too big a gap is it? If so, he shoulda been in it!

I have the true wind rune tattooed on my chest. It really hurt.

How do I import it? I read that if you have a fliptop PS2 and Swap Magic for the PS2 you can play it but is that true? I've ordered a fliptop PS2 case but I dunno whethere I want to waste £25 on Swap Magic if it's not going to work. What did you do?

Haha how is he a turd? Do you dislike him in general or just in III? And yeahhhh Luc could have been a kickass little midget type guy.

Yeah hehe I'm scarred for life but I like the design so it doesn't bother me. May get a few more runes.
Given I do this whenever I wanna play my Suikoden III, I'll tell you how to do it.

I assume from what you've read that you have a modified flip-top cover for the old-style big PS2, correct? If so, disgard it. It's pointless, a waste of money and invalidates your warranty. Plus I'll mock you. Constantly.

Secondly, the Swap Magic 3.0 (Or whatever version you get) is ******** awesome. More handy if it comes with a slide tool. Quite basically, you take the cover off your disktray. It's not that hard and they can break through "overuse" anyway, so it doesn't invalidate your warranty, given it's only held on by two little tabs. Then, (to experiment before you buy Swap Magic) put your PS2 on its side (horizontal, not standing straight up) and put a thin knife under the left of the disktray and brush it slowly to the right, making sure you don't push it too far in. You should "unlock" the disktray and be able to pull it out.

The theory behind the Swap Magic is you load it up without the front cover of the disktray on. Then you wait for a screen to appear to confirm it's ready for you to swap a game in. You then insert the slide tool, unlock the tray and pull it out. Put Suikoden III in and push the tray back in. Then lock the tray. If you don't, you may ruin your Suikoden III disk.

Finally, just press X or whatever and it'll run. Easy.

Trust me, it's worth it for Suikoden III. Given I've spent about £150 on Suikoden within 2006.

That sounds like a lot of work though. Plus, I've heard that the slide tool can bugger the PS2 up? I can't afford Swap Magic just yet anyways but I may look into getting it. Is Suikoden III as good as the others? Some say it's the best in the series, while others say it's the worst. o_o

The slide tool doesn't bugger the PS2 up. It's ******** easy to do. Only retarded titheads ******** up a PS2 with it.

And Suikoden III is nothing like the others.

Well, I've ordered swap magic complete with the slide tool. Only problem is, the order was taking so long to process, I kinda clicked refresh, and it's ordered it three times. :S

I emailed the owner of the site and told him about this problem. Hopefully he will cancel two of the orders and give me my money back. If not, £15 has become £45, which I can't really afford at this moment in time. sad

So hopefully (apart from with what I mentioned above) I am not one of those retarded titheads. smile

Looking forward to playing Suikoden III. biggrin
