Okay... here's what I've decided: I am literally going to masquerade as if I were in the Renaissance. I'll wear one of my prom dresses, plus fairy wings, and I'm going to make a masque like the ones they used, complete with handle, and ornate decorations. And yes, I'll be wearing this to school. xd

Girls are allowed to dress up as guys.
Guys AREN'T allowed to dress up as girls.
It doesn't make sense, but those are the rules.
Besides, if you're saying this is a double standard.
Then why can guys (and the adults as well) play shirts and skins in basketball at the stake centers?
I don't want to see a high priest in his garments.

I'm thinking of going as Tenten, if I can find a forehead protector anywhere around here.

Serena Hello people. They're having an activity for Halloween next Friday, and it's going to be a costume party... but I don't know what to dress up as? I was thinking of dressing up as Link from Zelda, but I have a feeling that crossdressing is discouraged. razz (this coming from a girl with a guy avatar). Does anybody have any ideas for a costume or know the rules associated with costumes? I went as Link one year for Halloween, and nobody knew what I was. This one guy thought I was a 'ho. But that was at school. Maybe you should try to do the kid Link costume, since it would be a little bit more modest.

Go as Link. Crossdressing is one of the few things that girls can do that guys can't. Anyway, I would do adult Link cause he is so much cooler and wears pants. Pants are good.
Personally I am being a huge moocher this Halloween. I am taking one of my friends from school. He is (hopefully) going to wear his Sephiroth outfit, and I'll be wearing his Vash the Stapede outfit. 5 pound boots!!! w00t!

I think older link is more modest, the only exposed skin on his costume is his hands and face: Buuuut... I've decided I'm going to go as a gothic-lolita inspired jester. Something girly. hehe

I'm not bishie enough too be a pretty male character (even as a girl!) without looking like a dorkus. And I'm chubby. So an outfit with a fitted skirt and top will be much more flattering.
Yay for Final Fantasy Cosplay! I met my boyfriend when he was dressed as Squall from FF8.

Ok, looking through my closet, I think I am going to end up dressing as my original choice... an anime/moe/Akihabara maid. It will be a cute and modest outfit, gothic-lolita inspired, of course. I will post pictures! biggrin
