Ruby looked up at the girl {Ashley}, "No, I don't mind at all." She said. Ruby put her book mark in her book and closed it, and sat up out of her slouched reading position.

Michael "Acoine", having just moved back to Colorado from the Orient, was busy snowboarding when his mom called him to see the letter that said he had been accepted to Wingate. He wasn't happy about it. "I just got back here 2 weeks ago and I'm already being sent off to boarding school. This sucks." Acoine said.
"Watch your language Mike." his mom snaped, "Your father wants you to become smart and thinks this place will help you out."
"Mom I told you to call me Acoine. It's portaguesse for power."
"Well get packing Mr. Power 'cause your going in three hours."

Acoine had just finished packing up his things and was heading out to his car, a cherry red custom made Ford Mustang convertable. He drove down to the school and found the parking pass' marked spot for his car and went up to his designated room. The dorm was not much bigger than his normal room, but smelt much better. Acoine thought for a moment and put up a little sign on his dorm's door that said "THIS DORM IS IN OWNERSHIP OF ACOINE STAMP". He then went to go see if any one was next door. He knocked on Jason's door and waited for someone to come out and show him around. He couldn't wait to see the ROTC program they had here and wanted so badly to find out if they had a snowboarding "class".

Steven grabbed his bags out of the back of his Chevy truck and began to walking up to his dorm. After he reached his dorm Steven dropped his stuff and jumped on his new bed saying,"This is great I got accepted here man looks like my luck is changing!" After Steven finshed jumping on his bed he got up, grabbed his ipod and headed down to the lobby to find someone to show him around.

Ruby smiled, "That's ok, yes, I am Ruby, and you are Ashley right?" she asked the girl. "I am reading a book called Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. Just for enetertainment though, I am also reading Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer"

Steven looked at the guy who shouted at him then yelled back,"No man sorry I'm new here to.Maybe we can find someone together?"He then began to walk towords Acoine

Jesse strolled down the the outdoor corridors of the school getting the usual looks. He didn't care, he came around a corner his black cyan stiched messager bag in hand. he moved to a seat setting himself down. throwing a head back. of the over hang of the seat. He sighed heavily and relaxed their.

"Oh sorry," Ashley said. "Yes, my name's Ashley. Well, I hate to have to run just when I was getting to talk to you, but I have an ROTC class I have to be at in about 15 minutes, and it's across campus. So unless you'd like to help me put up some flyers on the way, I've got to jet..." she said as she reached into her bag and pulled out a small stack of papers and a roll of tape.

The flyers were to be posted in dorms all over campus advertising ROTC and telling cadets to report to the Franks Building that night at 2100 hours for a special briefing. "You wouldn't by any chance... be interested in signing up for Air Force Junior ROTC... would you? We have lots of fun, and... here, have a flyer. If you come to the meeting tonight at 2100, you'll learn all about what we do."

"Hello Steven and Azalia. I'm Acoine, or Michael. Which ever sounds cooler to you. I just heard some one talk about ROTC. I gotta go." Acoine raced over to Ashely and grabbed her shoulder. "Hey are you in ROTC? I'm Acoine. I came from Army ROTC, but if you only have AFROTC then I'll become a fly boy." Acoine began to walk with the Ashely.
