She chose the penne pasta dish with thick red sauce and large meatballs. She mostly chose it for the meatballs but she loved pasta dishes so it worked out beautifully. She also grabbed some water and plenty of napkins and sat across from her new Teammate. She forked a pasta piece and stuck it into her mouth rolling her eyes back in bliss, "So good...." she looked like she was about to cry.
"I am trained in Spirit Capture. And I'd like you to tell me everythign you know about this place. I just arrived today, afterall." She didn't mention that she was able to create and renew sealing runes, her master had taught her that after she'd insisted on learning. It had taken her a year of grinding at his resolve before he finally caved in and agreed to teach her. Zenobia didn't seem to think it was necessary, she didn't want to appear to brag; she'd get around to it eventually.

"Everything? Well, uh um, well, that could be a lot, but, uh, here goes I guess. Um, well, first off their's a training center here on the grounds, which is where I lived for the past year while they trained me. The basic training is mostly physical but in the last three months they test you to see if you are adept enough to learn spirit capture, if you are they continue teaching you spirit capture and they keep up the physical trainign untill the end of the training period. The training classes are arranged into groups and are set in six month blocks. I didnt't know that and I joined right after the last Promotional Meeting, so I completed my training six months ago. Since then I've been doing advanced individual training with the teachers between classes. Theirs dorms, training facilities, the cafeteria, a libraray, and an armory all on site here. Everything's free as long as you work for them, once you are promoted to Hunter-Gaurdian then you start earning a salary. Also once you are promoted most people are assigned weapons according to their skills, I inherited mine, the cost of those weapons is deducted from their bi-monthly salaries.
"Anything else? Or would you like me to continue on something?" William asked.

She paused eating, already halfway done, resting her chin in her hand, she smiled, "Feel free to tell me whatever else you think I should know. I'll ask any questions I have when you're finished." She replied. It had been awhile since she'd slept in a real bed, it might take some getting used to but how bad could it be? She took a sip of water to wash out her mouth and moisten her throat.

"Uhh, I guess that that's really all I've got. Would you like me to take you somewhere, or...?" William asked, slightly confused as to what to do now.

She gave him a warm smile, "Finish your food. I've got to find out where I'm staying." She commented, attacking her food again. She obviously had an appetite but it didn't stop her from eating politely, twirling the noodles on her fork until they were a neat roll then sticking it in her mouth, cutting her meatballs into biteable sizes, and so on.

When the two of them had finished eating William escorted her to the Dormitories.
"All of the rooms are the same, so we simply have to find one that is unoccupied and it is all yours. Actually I believe that the room just down the hall from mine is open, and I'll show you which is mine. That way if there is anything that you need you'll know where to find me and you can come and ask." William said.
They entered the Dormitory Building and ascended two flights of stairs. Once the had reached the third floor they continued down the hall a short distance. They paused at the second door on the right.
"This is my room. Like I said, if there is anything you need feel free to come and ask."
They continued another short distance down the hall and stopped at the fourth door on the left.
"Well, let's check and see." William said as he tried the door.
It opened without resistance. He pushed the door open and stepped aside so that Zenobia could see what lay inside. A plain twin bed with simple white sheets and pillows, a white comforter lay folded at the foot of the bed, was set against the center of the righthand wall. A sturdy wooden nightstand stood next to the bed, a simple metal lamp with a white shade stood upon it. There was chest at the foot of the bed, wooden with iron hinges and latches. A wooden dresser was against the center of the wall closest to them, and a set of wooden shelves was against the lefthand wall. A cast-iron key lay upon the center shelf.
"Well I guess this is your room for now. I hope it's okay. Go ahead and take the key on the shelf. There's public showers in the third door on this side of the hall. It's, uhh, co-ed, so if any of the guys around here give you a hard time feel free to ruff 'em up a bit, or you could let me know and I could take care of 'em for you. So, uhh, is there anywhere else you'd like to go, or are you gonna call it a day?"

She memorized the way to his room, she'd be able to find it if she were blind though, considering she'd already memorized his scent. The room he showed her was simple but absolutely perfect, she smiled as she looked around, picking up the key that he'd indicated. Co-ed showers, that would take some getting used to.
At the monastary, her master had found a place for her to bathe away from the men, never disclosing the location just in case any of the others would be tempted to take a peak. In her travels she usually found a river or lake to bathe in. She frowned slightly but it disappeared a moment later when William mentioned he'd rough anyone up who gave her a problem.
I think I need to go into town and buy some more appropriate clothes." She plucked a thte broad sleave of her robe, "Would you like to come?" She asked. From what she'd heard, most men didn't like shopping, but she thought it would be polite to ask.

"Sure, no problem. I know where plenty of good stores are. Are you looking for anything in particular, or are you within a certain price range?" William asked.

She reached into her sleeve, her hand hidden so Willima didn't see the quick rune she drew in her sleeve. To him it looked like she reached into her sleeve and pulled out a large pouch full of coins, "Most them are gold, are there really expensive stores here?" She asked, her brows pinched looking troubled. She'd accumalated the coins from thankful villagers and since she didn't buy much, not even food, she saved up a lot of money.

Williams eyes widened slightly at the size of the pouch, and she had said it was mostly gold!?
"Well, uh, yeah. There are some expensive stores here but with that much spending money you shouldn't have any problems." William said slightly flustered.
"Well, shall we get going?" He asked.

She had the grace to look embarassed as she followed him out, she slipped the pouch back into her sleeve and sealed it away, "I didn't want anything fancy, just something I can train in and run around in....maybe a dress or two...now that I've settled down for awhile..." She smiled slightly.

"Well those shouldn't be too hard to find. Let's go." William said.
He led her down the stairs and out of the building, from there the two of them turned and left the complex through a large gate next to a guardhouse. A guard cam out holding a clipboard and the two of them had to sign their names before he would open the gate for them. From there they walked out onto a wide cobbled street. They followed this deeper into the village for a while and finally came a sort of "downtown" where many shops and stores were located. William led Zenobia deeper into the throng of people that were bustling about untill finally he found what he was looking for. A Ladies Clothing Store.
"Here we are." William said as he looked in the large windows at the wide array of clothing that was to be found inside.

The sounds and smells of a town she'd never miss but she'd have to get used to it again, she was goign to be working here on a regular basis for awhile. She did her best not to wrinkle her nose, keeping her face pleasantly blank as she looked around. She smiled when they arrived at a shop that would do nicely. Even if she didn't like towns, shopping was one of her many elements and she was on the move as soon as she stepped over the threshold. No nervous hesitance from her. She three pairs of trousers that while form fitting were not binding. She also selected another pair of boots then 6 short sleeved tunics and 6 longsleeved.
She also picked out a durable leather belt and a long coat. She hesitated on the hat but finally settled on a broad rimmed one that could be oiled for wet weather. Seeing as she was goign all out, the shop keeper was giving her uncertain looks. Those looks continued until she produced three gold coins. Upon that understanding, he showed her his selection of gloves. She picked a pair of black leather ones and then paid for her things, giving William a little over half of the parcels to carry.

She grinned broadly at him then waved to the shopkeeper who insisted she come by again, "I think I'm alright for the night." She replied, signing out for him since his arms were occupied. The guard understood and gave a sympathetic shake of the head as they left.
