:O I am also the only girl trumpet player in my grade but you beat me with the number of guys. I om the Sane one out of 1 girl and 5 guys in our 8th grade trumpet section.

im the only baritone in band and im one of three trombones (the other two are guys), and in our band we only have one tuba player (guy), and im the only girl in the whole low brass section. although, i dont think it really matters whether my section is all boys or girls, we all get along no matter what gender we are. each section is kinda like family so we've learned to deal with the occasional "forgetting to practice" and stuff like that. and who wants to be in a section of girls when you can be surrounded by hot guys all day? whee

we have 9 trumpets in our top band ( lawlz)
anndd there's two girls in the whole section, me and a girl named hailey. shes cool.
too bad no one has any respect for me whatsoever as section leader. :/

ZOMG B) we have 9 trumpets in our top band ( lawlz) anndd there's two girls in the whole section, me and a girl named hailey. shes cool. too bad no one has any respect for me whatsoever as section leader. :/ at least you are one. in middle school, we had this girl sara (now goes to a catholic high school) she was WAY better then our section leader. but our "trumpetist" bd must've been a little "sexist" too, he picked the guy who should have been 2nd chair better to be section leader whee

idledreams109 I am the only french horn in our band. We are pretty small; there aren't many females in the entire band. biggrin It's pretty fun. I'm another lone horn. 6 years and theres never been another horn in band. I sit next to/tune with the saxes and all 4 of them are guys. I think theres quite a few girl trumpets in my school. 4 out of 6 I think. It's quite sad, I'm able to outplay them.

Oh yeah, I'm the only girl trumpet in my class with three other guys, i love two of them, the other one is a disgrace to the trumpet. A fat lard with dunlop's disease (his fingers dun lopped over the valves)

BUT THAT'S IT! granted, this is alot, but aren't we forgetting something? ah yes, elementary knowledge............ NOISE LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG HE CAN'T PLAY ANY SOFTER THEN A FREAKIN FFF AND IT DRIVES EVERYONE CRAZY stressed xp
