Ginseku arrowed his eyes slightly. He loved challenges and such, but drinking was something he had broken himself of. It was the exact reason why he ordered coke instead of alcohol before, too.

Kasai grabbed a hold of the mug with both hands and downed the rest of it. She slammed the empty glass down on the wood with a satisfied "Ahh".
"Can I have another, please?" She was waving her hand over the counter in an attempt to get the bartender's attention.
"'Ello?"

Ginseku looked over at her.
"talk to me before you get tipsy, please?"
He turned to face her.
" So...Why were you sad before? in the arena, i mean. I could tell you were sad about something.'

The bartender came over with anothr full mug and set it down in front of Kasai. She took a large sip before looking over at Ginseku. Her cheeks were very rosy now and her eyes were a bright orangeish red.
"Well... For several different reasons, I suppose... My village took me in instead of shunning me like they usually do half breeds. But that was the extent of their kindness. They thought they did me a great honor by keeping me... But... I was always alone... No one cared about any one or any thing... Just themselves..." She downed a quarter of the mug. A little foam from the beer stuck to her top lip and she licked it away before smiling at Ginseku.
"But, I'm over it now! No worries!"

He smiled.
"well...As long as im here...I might as well get my old favorite.."
ginseku pulled out a large pouch, and pulled out a gold coin.
"Ill take a large pint of the strongest Demon snap you have."

"Demon Snap... What's that?" Kasai asked, a puzzled look on her face. She wobbled precariously on her barstool before leaning on the counter for support.

He placed the gold coin on the counter, sliding it across to the bartender.

"Devils of hell? How'd they mana... manda... do that?" Kasai was starting to slur her words now. The beer was obviously taking effect. The had a silly grin plastered across her face and she would randomly start giggling.

Ginseku sighed heavily, then formed a few odd handsigns, placing his hand to her forehead.
"PURGE!"
the alcohol in he system dissolved in to pure protein.
He removed his hand.

(( Noooooooooooooooooooooo crying Kasai wanted to be teh tipseh!!!!! ))
Kasai stared at the wall behind the bar, trying to focus her eyes again. Everything went from happy and blurry to clear and... well... not so happy any more. She looked over at ginseku, only really getting half of what he said.
"Very interesting..." She quickly reached for her mug and started drinking again. She liked that happy bubbly feeling she got when she was drunk. It made all other feelings of sadness or uneasyness go away... At least temporarily...

(Yesh, but he brought her there to talk. and he doesnt speak drunkard((ANYMORE)). so too bad. )
Ginseku watched her slowly, then grabbed a mug, pouring himself the damned devils snap because the bartender didnt.
"Its blunt, but its all i know. Sorry if you wanted details.."
He sipped the brew softly, the refreshing flavor rushing over his tongue. It tingled like a strong mouthwash, burning like flames down his throat.

"So, why did you want to meet me here? I'm afraid I've forgotten..." She mused, leaning forward on the barstool and swining one of her legs back and forth.

He turned towards her, drinking a bit more off his Demon snap, the flaming feeling stroking his throat lightly.
He set the mug down slowly.

"No specific reason. Just wanted to know."
He smiled slightly, then leaned back against the bar. he wondered what they should do next?..
