Sephiroth_Gabriel He is 32 coz vincent is technically 57 and he went to sleep or imprisonment not to long after Sephiroth was born so he would have been 30 in the game and advent children happened 2 years later. Sephiroth was born after the Vincent occurance, not before.

MAKO 7 but vincent was only 27 before he was experimented on. (as everyone should know, vincent is permanently age fixed on 27 due to the experiments).who knows how long the experiment took hojo to render vincents genes. that part doesnt realy matter, but sephiroth was born shortly after the experiment happened on vincent.so ther was that lapse of time. then we have cloud who was 16 when he was assigned to go with zack and sephiroth, and vincent was still locked up in the basement at this point. (or was he? did anyne else check around for the clues to the safe during the flashback? there wasnt any. and the city burnt down too remember? so hojo had to come back later to drop off them clues as to where vincent was, after he locked himself in the new shinra mansion basement. wink ) but how old was sephiroth at this time? probebly about 27-30 (during the flashback. you have to take into account of how old cloud was at this time(16) and when he was 12, he was talking with tifa before he left for midgar, and he said he wanted to be "just like sephiroth". so when cloud was 12, sephiroth was already the best soldier. but how old would he have been at that time? surely not in his early 20's, that would have been much too young. )[be thionking now. cloud age 16- sephi age 21? no. thats only a 5 year span apart so cloud would have been 11 when sephi was 16] so assuming sephiroth was arond 27-30s when cloud was 12, add the other 4 years (for when cloud was 16)we get about 31-37 (estimate). now add the other 5 years so that cloud is 21, that would bring sephi to the age of about 36/37- early 40s. but then people talk about "what about during advent children? he would be 2 years older." no he wouldnt. at that time, sephiroth wasnt in existence. he was colpletely destroyed by cloud at this time and if cloud didnt finish sephi off, the planet sure did. so we dont realy add any time for that. so my conclusion is that sephiroth is in his 36/37- early 40's. Alot of information however you have to take into consideration Square - Enix have made alot of additions to the story line that have mixed bits up. For example supposedly Nanaki (Red XIII) was supposed to be the last of his species (Hojo stated) however at the end of the game and start of FFVII:AC we find he has kids and as I found out online. He actually had a partner during FFVII but was never mentioned until "Befor Crisis" when we find out she is called Dinne and put herself in a two year spiritual meditation hence why she was never mentioned in FFVII. So taking into consideration all the details you stated, also you have to take the factor that Sephiroth could of made it into Soldier at the age of 16 thanks to the Jenova cells this would also give cloud a higher hope at becoming like him at young age instead of some old guy who obviously had trained for years. FFVII guides and wikipedia state sephiroth being aged 30, however finding out the additonal information in DoC: FFVII of vincent being experimented on by Lucretcia when Vincent was aged 27, that would mean that Sephiroth was born just after so perhaps when Vincent was 28 in mind. So if with taking into consideration that Sephiroth could of became top ranked in soldier at a younger age thanks to the added bonus of the Jenova Cells, he could be 28 or 29? That would be the age of his body in the Mako Crystal up in the North Crater. And has stated somewhere in FFVII: AC he is just a figment really he's not really there it was just thanks to Jenova Cells really that Sephiroth appeared. Hope that helps clear something up???

Ixas Might I ask which Sephiroth we are talking about? The first one, or the clone? now thats a good question, so we've figured out that sephiroth is approximitally 27 ~ 32. But the original sephiroth was born when jenova first came to the planet so the original sephiroth was approxiamatally 2000 years old. confused (so i think)

Sephiroth wasn't born when Jenova came to the Planet. He's Lucretia and Hojo's son who was injected with Jenova cells while he was still in the womb. That whole thing about Jenova being his mother is only a half-truth. And there's only one Sephiroth, which is the one that was encased in Mako at the Northern Crater, which is where he ended up after Cloud threw him into the mako in the Nibelheim reactor. The Sephiroth that was appearing before Cloud during Final Fantasy VII were diferent pieces of Jenova taking Sephiroth's form and being controlled by Sephiroth. Wow, that was a lot to type.

But returning to the topic, I guess that Sephiroth would be around 30. Of course, I could go into all the jokes that my friends make about Sephiroth being an 80-year-old hippie, but I'm sure that would just annoy you all, so let's stick with the ideas that the rest of you discussed.

it is true that he is 30 in FFVII because of vincent 30 year slumber, sephiroth was born not long after vincent's isolation, therefore he is 33 in the latest game
it has come to my attention that sephiroth will keep aging because the compilation is nowhere near over

i think sephiroth is like 3465643576347657248325678431657348657824365783465782346578465783462578346563478256347859 years old. cuz in kingdom hearts 1 he is like 30 and sora is like 12. and in kingdom hearts 2 sora is fifteen so sephiroth is like 33 then. but if u add the final fantasy versions of sephiroth then he is like 3465643576347657248325678431657348657824365783465782346578465783462578346563478256347859 years old
