Well, it's better to present an arguement rather than being rude and just saying "No you're wrong." Believe me I had to deal with debate class and it got on my nerves.
Anyway, I wasn't saying Nomura was making a dumb plot of the main character acting like a god mod. I was just refering Sora as the symbol of hero of the story. Much like Kings or Rulers were referred to as heroes, but that's back in the day symbols I might have been thinking of. Mickey is considered the King of his world in the game, so it might have been referring to Mickey's connection with the keyblade master. He also had his symbol (Circle with Mouse Ears) on the Keyblade Sora has.

Anyone notice that none of Namine's drawns are of Sora and Kairi? It's all Sora and Riku, or Axel and Roxas, or just them by themselves.

I wonder... did anyone else get angry at that huge star in traverse town area 3 because it didnt do anything? well ever realised how... shall we say... obssed Roxas is with stars? just like the traverse town one? XP dont know if it means anything but yeah... i just happened to notice.

and yes, a long time ago i played KH1 and looked real close at all the drawings and saw nothing of much interest. but maybe if we go back we can recognise some things. i do vaguely recall seeing the disney castle XP

Hmmm, If you don't mind just so I can keep myself on subject I'm going to quote the first post so I can answer.

The first one is the constant repeating image of a star, or stars, in KH2. It's possibly a reference to the worlds, but... It seems a little too simple and explanation. I don't know. I'm not thinking terribly clearly at the moment, honestly...

While sure, Stars could have a deeper meaning in Kingdom Hearts, You can't simply overlook the simple stuff. Sure, they put it in the game, but if you look at the -entire- game like one little riddle box, that isn't fun at all. If you look up into the sky and there aren't any stars out that isn't any fun. Most of the damage Sora deals in both games, are in the forms of stars. In most cartoons, when a character gets hit, they see stars. It could just be the Disney of the game.

Now on the other hand, there have a been a few serious issues with stars. Like the shape of the fruit from the first game and the key-chain of the oath-keeper which is simply the charm Sora received in Kingdom Hearts I.

The Unicorn.

I know nothing about this subject, I didn't spend too much time looking over the entire mansion. It was a quick run in run out. I would figure Unicorn's to simply be a sort of decoration, since you can't have an empty mansion. I mean, I looked at the castle in the glass case in the center of the lobby of the mansion for awhile that was about it. As for the pictures, I figured they would relate to chain of memories. Could be wrong, nothing is written in stone after all.

Jewelry. Without it, Sora would look kinda empty if you ask me, not to mention each character needs some sort of trademark. The only other times I can think of that Sora's crown was really pointed out would be “The shape of the cards in COM.” “Sora's (Final form I think it is.) In Halloween Town in KHII.” For symbolism, it could mean a lot more, it could mean less, like the piece of metal it is, can't jump to conclusions until S-E gets around to the third game.

Just my thoughts on the subject...

But I noticed many of this things, too. The stars, and crowns and unicorns and all that ^_^ But I just got KH2 last month when it came out here in Europe so I had not so much time yet...
In KH1 I spend hours and hours just looking around and searching things that most people would never notice...

In KH2 there were some things that are interesting, too. But most of what I discovered is only decoration or something like that I think. Like all the clocks at Santa Clause's house show a different time... Or that Xehanort wears the same boots like the Organization~ But okay, that's not about symbolism...

About the crown thing... I think it has something to do with the title... "Kingdom" Hearts. Just something that fits and everyone could remember~

The stars... There were really many in Twilight Town~ Everywhere stars and the moon. I don't know maybe there is a reason for that or maybe it's just decoration. Or the symbol for Roxas? Like the Crown is for Sora?
