Setting his cup down on the corner of the table, Donat laughed a little as he climbed into a chair. "When did you get ice cream with Daddy?" His father had spent the last several days shut in his room a lot of the time, studying his magical books. He certainly had not seemed in the mood for ice cream.
Unless he was finished with the books and was getting ice cream now?
"Do you think he went back for ice cream again?" Donat asked. Clearly, Aylana was the expert on Kumoru's ice cream-eating habits.
And then the goat's manners came back to him in a rush. He hopped out of his chair again and bowed a little. "Oh, nice to meet you, Miss Aylana," he said hurriedly. "My name's Donat."

Aylana couldn't help but smile at how gentlemen like Donat was, it made her think that even as a young child he was going to be wise beyond his years. Feeding the rest of the yogurt to Cielra she watches the kitten lick her lips then clap her hands together "We actually went and had ice cream not to long ago. He decided that he needed to go for a walk one night and stumbled over my feet as I was seating down on the sidewalk." lifting Cielra from the highchair she turns grabbing for a washcloth on the sink.
Turning the water on she holds the washcloth under the water for a moment before she uses it to wipe Cielra face off. As the kittne mews then bats at her hands she laughs kissing Cielra's nose.
Holding the kitten on her hip she bites her lip thinking for a moment "He might be, after all its a nice way to relax or even just think when your mind has to much going on inside." she runs her fingers lightly over Cielra back.

Donat considered this, nodding slowly. So Daddy had gone out at night for ice cream before. That was probably it, then.
"Why do you think he didn't say anything, though?" the goat asked, wondering if Aylana had any insight. Did his dad go out at night a lot, while Donat was in bed asleep? Why would Daddy want to get away and not tell anyone?

Aylana thought his question over carefully. She didn't want to say something that might upset the one young, nor did she wish to confuse him. With a shrug she winks at Donat "How about we go find your father then you can ask him?"
Cielra lays her head on her mother's shoulder purring alittle keeping herself warm the blanket wrapped around her body. Her eyes settled on Donat just watching him with curiousity.

The goat's features were a little sad as he nodded slowly. It was true that he should get back to looking, since he had spent the night outside and all to do that in the first place. It was just really lucky that he had run into Miss Aylana, and that she actually knew his dad, too.
After a few moments, though, Donat found that he could not keep a straight face, let alone a grim one, with the little kitten girl watching him. Allowing a smile to spread across his lips, he stepped closer and waved to her with his four fingers.
"What's your name?" he asked her. "Do you know my daddy, too?"

Aylana giggles poking at Cielra's nose as she mews looking at Donat with huge interest as he stepped closer "This little kitten is name Cielra. She only a baby so she doesn't talk yet." she turns kissing at Cielra's cheek only to cause the kitten to purr.
Cielra closes her eyes only for a moment before she reopens them again to fix them once again on Donat. Her ears twitch as they turn fully toward Donat. Mewing she lifts her hand copying the wave that he did at her.

"She's pretty," Donat said to Aylana, then told Cielra, "I hope I can talk to you soon." New friends were always fun, even if they were a lot younger than him.
The goat was quiet for a moment, then he looked back up at the blue-skinned lady. "Will Cielra come with us when we look for Daddy?"

Aylana smiels watching at Cielra reaches out towards Donat. It put a smile to her face that the little one wasn't scared of anything around her including new people. "I think once she grows she'll start talking so I'll make sure to bring her over so you can talk to her. How does this sound?" she holds her other hand out as she gives Donat a nod "Yes Cielra gonna join us in searching for your father."
Cielra mews a few times thinking the others would understand her as she lays her head on Aylana's shoulder. Of course she would join them, she like playing hide and seek. To her this is what it sounded like.

Donat smiled and nodded. "Alright, maybe when she's bigger we can play tag! Tag's my favorite game."
Then he slipped down from the chair again and took a sip of water from his lidded cup before stuffing it awkwardly back into the pocket of his pajama pants. "Uhm, can we go now? I'm ready, I guess," the goat said, looking down at himself. When they found Daddy, he would definitely make Donat take a bath.

Aylana laughs before she nods "Alright let's go find your father Donat." slipping out of the kitchen she leads Donat towards the main door. Opening the door she steps aside allowing the young one to slip pass her. Folding her wings around herself as well as Cielra she breathes in slowly as she does a mind search.
She was hoping she found Kumuro, but seeing as she only met him once it might be hard. She didn't know the wavelength that well enough for her to find it instantly.
Cielra giggles peeking out between her mother's feather, Looking around she ducks back in to hide behind the feathers. Yup this was hide and seek, and se was winning cause she saw she was the only person hiddng.

Grabbing his cup, Donat bounded over towards the door and back out of the HQ into the lawn in front of it. He was about ten feet away from the door before he glanced back and saw that Miss Ayalana was not following him. He skidded to a halt on the grass, then turned back to watch her.
"What are you doing?" he asked after a moment.

Seeing that she wouldn't be able to find Kumoru through mind link she opens her eyes as she heard Donat speak. Smiling she shakes her head as she walks towards him "Just enjoying the air, that all." glancing around dhe nods "Alright how about we head back towards your home?"
Cielra once again lifts her mother's feathers peeking out between them. Mewing her tail sways as she watches Donat. After all she didn't get caught by him.

Donat made a start like he was going to run across the field into the woods again, but then stopped, looked around, then turned to face Aylana again.
"I'm not sure where it is," he admitted, sheepishly sucking on a finger. After a few more moments' consideration, the goat pointed off in one direction and added, "I just know I came from that a-way."

Aylana glances the way Donat was pointing. Tilting her head for a moment she thought about it. Looking back down at Donat she nods "Alright lets head back that way until you see something that familiar to you that might take us to your home." holding her hand out she nods "And lets stick together, that way I don't lose you."

... Well, she knew Daddy, so that meant she was not a stranger. Donat walked over without hesitation, and took Aylana's hand.
"Okay. It was dark, but I'll try to remember. I think I just walked in a straight line, but I'm not sure," he said, leading her into the forest. There was a tree sort of straight ahead, so he aimed for that, then, upon reaching it, picked the next one that seemed in the right path, and headed there. He could remember that was kind of what he did last night, at least for a while.
