Before he knew it, she apeared in front of him, balanced perfectly, sword to his throat, "I have my ways." she said, her voice a little cold and hard.

Laroc smiled again as he back flipped away from Maviri and kicked her sword out of her hands in the process. Landing he caught it in his hand. "If you say so. And what are you doing all alone? It's dangerous in the forest this time of night."

The sword dissapeared from his hand and reapeared in hers, "Dangerous, yes. For you." she countered, eyes flashing slightly. She noticed things that he didn't, and before long, his feet were secured tightly to the tree on which he was standing. She glanced down at where a plant was creeping up his legs and gave a small smirk as it started wraping around his waist.

Both heard a rustle in the trees and a slight snicker.

Maviri glanced in the general direction of the snicker, her sword, and majority of her attention still on the drow in front of her.

A tall lithe woman walked out into the open. "I think he has the short end of the stick now doesn't he?" Her dark aburn hair was blown back over her shoulder by a gust of wind. Her eyes didn't meet Maviri's.

"He should be glad that he's not being run through with a stick." Maviri muttered, wondering who this woman was. She had an inkling in the back of her mind, but couldn't quite place it.

She laughed and leaned on her mage's staff. "Why are you two fighting anyway?" Her eyes didn't focus on anything, though she seemed to be looking off into the woods behind them.

"Having some one threaten to kill you when you first wake up is not the most pleasant way to greet a person, wouldn't you say?" she turned her full attention back on Laroc, "Besides, he's a drow." She said the name of the race as if it were a bad word. She had her own reasons for hating that race.
The plant was now making it's way up the drow's waist, and to his arms, completely blocking his swords from him.

Taiki closed his eyes and muttered a few words. His body was replaced with a smokey shape that was blown away by the slight breeze. He reappeared a few branches lower on the same tree. "I'm not trying to make war with you or your forest elf. I've already sheathed my weapons, so you can sheath yours." He looked at the newcomer with mild annoyance. "I really don't like repeating myself. My business here is my own and you would do well to stay out of my way."

"I don't trust you, Drow." Maviri stated flatly, "And if you don't tell me what you are doing in my forest, I will follow you until you do, or until you are dead."
