His claws came up to very gently take her hand, his delicate touch exquisite and divine as he pulled closer and touches his beak to her hand. If there was one thing he'd learned from TV - it was how to treat a lady. Carl kissed Treas' hand, before rising then and lifting it daintily into the air, midway between them so that she might be comfortable. As tones go, Carl didn't even feel the need to try and put on airs, for with his head held high and the world having become his fantasy, he already sounded very much the dominant force of this land. "I'm glad you find this world to your liking, Dearest Queen. Would you be so kind as to allow me to escort you to yon castle?" At said castle, he gestured lightly with a claw.

Trea smiled and if not for her fur would have blushed as he kissed her hand. It seemed almost silly to her still but she knew from her share of reading and tv that it was almost always done when royalty met. She smiled and nodded once to him. She let her voice return to normal, she wasn't fond of making it change that much. Though if she wanted to, know that she thought of it, she could probably sound like anyone she wanted!
"I can not wait to see the castle Carl. It looks simply magnificent from here."

"Than come!" A gallant pose was struck before he began moving towards the ivory towers that stood so brilliant against the azure sky. "We shall depart to the castle! From there - I have no idea what to do." A soft chuckle couldn't help but to emanate from this odd statement, but it was al lstill of fun and games, was it not?

"Ohh maybe we will find others to talk to? Or a pool to swim in." She looked up at the sun, it was certainly hot for the atire she had. She could only imagine how Carl felt! He must feel like an oven. "Do you think it will take long to get there, walking?" Her Outfit

"Not at all! Besides - where there are castles, there are horses. All we have to do is keep an eye out for one." One that he had yet to spot. On the exterior he was quite cool and collected - but the afternoon sun had well worked its way into the heavy armor, and if one paused, they might recall a smell of roasting bird. Not that he was truly cooking, but it certainly was hot enough to, and the open field didn't seem to offer very much in the way of shade.
However, it did offer quite a pleasant walk. Wild flowers were strewn about, varrying in shape, size, and color to a rediculous amount of assortment. A few particularly pretty flowers caught his attention, and as they passed he leaned down and plucked a few. These were offered to Trea. "Milady."

"Carl, do you know how to ride a horse? I don't think I do. I mean, I have seen it done on tv and in pictures. I don't think it could be that hard." Trea picked up her dress a bit as they walked, it was long enough to trail in the grass and she didn't want it to get to dirty. Along with that the sun was making the garments feel heavier than they were. "You should keep an eye out for prints on the ground too, your eyes are better for seeing detail in light, aren't they?"
Trea delighted in all the types of flowers. It reminded her of a serene lake back near her home that she often went to see. She smiled and made a small bow with her upper half as the flowers were offered to her. She took them gently and lifted them to smell how sweet and aromatic they truly were. "They smell wonderful! Almost good enough to eat. Thank you my kind fellow."

The bird nodded and focussed on the earthen trail that lay not too terribly far off from te fring of the area they tread. That would certainly be easier terrain for a horse, so was it not the perfect location to seek signs of one? He was certain it was and scanned the ground with intense orbs surveying it with every detail becomming as a tapestry woven into his perceptions.
And then he saw it.
"Look! The ground's been disturbed over there - maybe by a horse?" The tracks weren't clear, but if Trea were to get closer, she to would notice that clay had been pulled from above by something heavy and by all means more natural than a cart would be capable of leaving behind.
The direction seemed to have started from a grove that lay much farther away in the distance, nothing but a sea of dark green that stood out against the lush hues of springtime and its blossoming bounty.
His eyes followed the trail in that direction, until at last the sought was found, and clearly embedded into the ever-so-slightly moist composition of the trail lay a hoof print.

Trea giggled and clapped her hands together. "Yes prints! I would say more than likely from a horse indeed." With a large smile she nodded at him and threaded her arm through his as she had seen done in movies too. "If we walk fast enough, perhaps we can find that horse and get to that castle before it becomes to late. I believe I am starting to get a bit hungry now."

"Very well, my Queen. We'll find your steed in notime, and be to the castle for supper." Or so he hoped. The eagle studied the print to see which direction the animal had headed, determining after a few moments that it had already begun west towards the massive structure. A grin played upon his visage as he pushed himself up and gently took her hand again, beckonning her after him as quickly he started towards where he knew the mount to be, waiting solely to whisk the two away.
Carl would lead on for a fair time, occasionally pausing to check the earth in hopes of a far fresher print being laid for them to follow. And indeed, as they grew near, the prints became frequent - so much so that soon enough stood the creature, depthless eyes peering at them from their facetted place within the ivory coat.
A pure white horse, for a pure maiden to ride.
"Does this suit you?"

A small smile pushed its way across her face as she felt herself blush from being called a queen, rather 'his' queen. She knew well enough to know that, that meant something even if she didn't know what that something was. As they walked on and at a fair pace for a while she basked in all the beauty until they stopped, Carl presenting before her, one of the most beatuiful sites yet for them to encounter.
"Carl he is absolutely amazing. Look, he is just waiting for us, like he knew we were coming." She lept up and bit and hugged Carl tightly. Forgetting for a moment how a 'queen' would act, as most children can only focus for so long. She smoothed out her dressed and walked to the horse. Reaching up and stroking his powerfull neck as he leaned down to sniff and nuzzle the top of her head.
"Does he have a name?" She inquired while petting him, though looking over her shoulder at Carl.

"How about Appollo? It's the name of a god, and he looks like an Appollo." He reached up as well to gently stroke the mane, admiring the silken quallity of it before taking hold of the white gold reigns that hung loosely about it. The horse fidgetted for a moment, but calmed, finding serenity beneath the gentle hands of the Velvets.
Carl looked over the animal once more before pulling himself up, making himself comfortable upon the broad muscles of Appollos back. He then offered his hand to Trea, to assist her up and onwards to their castle.
"Shall we?"

Trea smiled, thinking that the horse must find it odd to have the sharp talons brushing against him. She placed her hand on the horses back and took Carl's hand in hers, climbing up onto Appollo's back. The horse snorted a bit and pawed the ground anxious just as they were to get to the castle ahead.
"Appollo is a wonderful name for him." She said as she wrapped her arms around Carl, and her legs securely against the horse.

Carl nodded and looked down at the reigns, gathering a general idea of what to do (mostly based off of tv) before lightly flicking the material against Appollos neck. The horse started for a moment, but rather than bucking them off - he began forwards, a speedy trot developped as they grew closer and closer to the castle.
For being velvet sized, it was still a huge structure. The towers seemed to loom over them, and the rippling flags went on forever beyond the starling peaks. The walls were the very deffinition of power and medeival grace, with long arches and embelleshments to further assert that it was indeed fit for whatever master would have it.
He gently spurred the horse a bit faster on, not allowing hinm rest until at last the sounds of his hooves meeting wood could be heard - the bridge to their kingdom being crossed, and their adventure truly beginning.

Trea hugged close to him as the horse rode faster, the breeze in her hair felt great, almost liberating.
"It feels like flying!"
She soon gazed up at the towering structure. There had to be at least a hundred rooms within the walls of the castle. The horses hooves on the wood made her look down and smile, it was a sound she had never really heard before. She looked up at the castle, it seemed to glow with the sun light on it.
"I can not wait to see if htere are people here."

Carl swiveled his view around, reigning in the horse to a halt as their destination was met. "Well...from what I can tell, either we're alone, or they're inside." For the grounds appeared all but empty, but all at once - one simply had to assume they'd been well taken care of, for age had not claimed the area, and everything was simply flourishing as it was.
He slipped off the horse and made to help her down, keeping an eye out for people, as well as looking for their way in.
