"Is it bad being a fish?"
Cody never wondered about that. He knew there were differences, but he never pondered how much different it could be between them. Being a dolphin only meant getting a tail and the rubbery skin, but that was all he could feel different

Sid shrugged. The question made him think it'd be a pain in the a** to adjust no matter what he became, but he still worried about what the future had in store for him. "I'll hafta geh back ta ya on tha'," he said.

"Oh"
Cody didn't really knew what to reply. He was trying to imagine what it would be like being a fish. Not much different from being a dolphin probably, only having scales and breathing water
"You think you'll choke on air when you change more?"

"I hope not. I don't think I'd like to live in water all the time"
Cody looked back at the sea. Lately he had been inside the water a lot. It wasn't strange, he was becoming a dolphin and dolphins lived inside the water. But he was human as well and there was loads of stuff he loved to do that could only be done on land. Soccer, cycling, playing games, ... No, he would never give up on that
He shivered. The air was getting too cold and he was still wet. Not to mention he still had to ride all the way up to the village in the middle of the dark
"I have to go now. Bye"
With that Cody grabbed his bike and started pedaling before it was too dark for him to see the road

Sid nodded in response, barely seeming to hear Cody. He remained where he was, staring at the water until the sunlight was swapped out for moonlight. When he finally worked up the will to stand back up, he made his way straight back to the beach bar.
