Adia sat down with a sigh and watched as her son ran off in search of his sister. With luck Daveigh would be a little happier than when she last saw her.
Daveigh glanced up as she heard her brothers roar. The moment she spotted him she turned her attention back to the lizard she had. "What do you want Arsenic?" She asked and glanced at her brother out of the corner of her eye.

Arsenic winced as she turned her attention back to the lizard. "Daveigh.." he sat down and sighed. "I came to apologize for my foolishness,"he said simply. He knew she was watching, but if she was really listening was a question that was out of his legue.

Daveigh chuckled as she lifted her paw and then slammed it back down on the lizard before he could run to far. "Foolishness for what? For trying to protect your oh so helpless sister from her horrible monster of a friend? This is ringing a bell... " Daveigh said becoming very rude something that was not her at all but her pent up anger she'd been mulling over for quite sometime. "Oh! You and mother. Her attempts to keep you from the only lions you called friends. Not much difference is there?" Daveigh looked over at Arsenic with an expression of irritance, uncaring, and defiance. She was clearly hurt but showing it in a different way than Arsenic had. She was ready to fight if the need came up.

Arsenic's eyes widened and he stood, beginning to back up. He avoided making eye contact with her. "Daveigh.." he whispered. He was indeed afraid. Afraid to get into a fight with his sister, afraid of the on going torment that she could cause him, afraid of her anger. His ice-blueorbs began to glaze over with tears again, though he faught to keep them back.

Daveigh stood as Arsenic did and completely forgot about the lizard who then escaped into his home between the rocks. "Arsenic you know as well as I do what it's like to have a member of your family disagree with your friends and then on top of that try to kill them?!" She was angry, so angry at him for attacking Ori and then fighting her to get to him. She wanted to scream, she wanted to slam her own body against the sharpest rock she could find just to stop the pain. She started to speak again but a flash of pink and the feel of claws on her head stopped her.
Zeeza settled herself down upon Daveigh's head and grinned. "Daveigh, Daveigh, Daveigh... You have your mother's temper." A gasp from Daveigh made Zeeza smile and laugh. "I know what you're going to ask and yes I am your mothers guardian." Zeeza said and looked over at Arsenic with a smile. "I'm here to try and help the two of you. You shouldn't be fighting. Daveigh you need to hear your brother out. Listen to him and you might just understand what has happened."

Arsenic tripped over a stone as he backed up and landed sprawled out on his stomach. "Daveigh.." he whispered. The pink flash of feathers caught his eyes and he watched as a bird landed on his sisters head. His mothers gaurdian? he ddn't ask about it just turned back to Daveigh. "Daveigh I'm so sorry. I WAS foolish for acting just like mother. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm stupid and should have been killed back there when I wantedto harm Ori. I'm extremely sorry," he got it all out asfast as possible before his sister could regain her anger and attack him.

The presence of Zeeza seemed to have a calming effect on Daveigh as her anger disapated and she sighed. "I'm sorry too. I've been selfish. I've been always wanting to play with you and you just wanted to make friends with others. My presence only managed to anger them and upset you. And it's my fault that Mother never liked your friends because I angered them and she got mad at them for getting mad at me. I'm so sorry Arsenic." She admitted and finally tears streamed from her eyes and she stared at the dirt in front of Arsenic's paws.

Arsenic waited a second before walking toward his sister. He wrapped an arm around one of her shoulders and hugged her tightly. "You're my sister, I should have allowed you to at least play with me and my friend if not chosen to play with you OVER my friends. Maybe I was jealous.. I don't know..." he said this in a whisper. Pulling away from the embrace he whiped her tears away with a gental and brotherly paw. "You're my sister and friends should never get in the way of my relationship with you. Nothing is your fault."

Daveigh smiled at Arsenic and giggled slightly. "Getting those articles off the chest sure makes me feel better. How about you?" She asked feeling grudges and anger lift. With her words out and a sort of peace restored she felt much better.

"I feel as one with the world as our brother must feel with the sky," he chuckled slightly. "It feels wonderful to get this anger taken away, I wish we had done it sooner," he smiled and looked towards the sun. "It's getting late.. hm.."

Daveigh nodded to Arsenic's words and even giggled again. "Yeah we should have but at least we have and peace is restored!" She said and bounced around Arsenic like a little cub but stopped when he looked at the sun. "It is getting late. Everyone should be coming back soon. Shall we retire to lounging till they return for the night?" She asked giving him a hopeful look. It had been rare that Arsenic ever had time to hang with her but maybe now he would.
