Agares laughed loudly at the name. A rather cruel glint appeared in his eyes, as this was a joke that noone else would find particularly funny. "That little parasite? Why on earth would you want to associate with him?" he giggled, which was rather unsettling. "Unless....that would explain why such a sweet little thing such as yourself got such an ugly pair of wings am I right?" he smirked suggestively.

The smiled vanished instantly from Shaun's lips, to be replaced with a saddened and rather hurt expression mingled with lingering anger. He looked away, rosy cheeks pinked even further from embarrassment. "My personal matters are not of your concern..." he replied cooly, once his nerves had subsided, although his green eyes still would not move from the floor. "If you know aything of his whereabouts,I would be greatful if you could tell me." His voice was musical, beatiful... but it had become saddened and there was that unerlying discord... those fragments of glass that even now bit at his throat.

As Setsuna was in the process of tucking into his sandwich, he suddenly became aware of something odd- The clock tower, which always had a rather strange aura surrounding it, was suddenly raging with some sort of paranormal energy. His first thoughts were those concerning ghosts, but for the energies around him to suddenly flare up like that... It had to be something different. In the distance, he could hear the school bell signaling a return to class for the students, but Setsuna's mind was in other places. Quite a while ago, he had discovered something about the mysterious tower. In the back, there was an old door that had not been boarded up properly. He had discovered that it could easily be pushed aside, and then replaced without anyone ever knowing the difference. Looking suspiciously from side to side, he crumpled up his paper lunch bag and stuffed it in his pocket, then, making sure no one was watching, he hurried to the rear of the building and carefully made his way inside, ignoring the screeching school-bell.

Shaun looked up as a new arrival - a human, for his energy was nuetral - entered the building. Apprehension instantly spread across his lips. This human shouldn't be here... No humans came here - or so Shaun had thought. He had overheard many rumours of this place of the school children here and none of them had wished to go anywhere near here. And what was worse, he seemed to be able to see them - a trait not many humans posessed - for his eyes had travelled over the pair of them.
((Sorry if that's god modding. Just, you know... if he can see them, he's probably going to look at them. xD;;;; ))

((It's okay. I don't count it as god-moding.^^))
Setsuna's eyes widened as he grew accustomed to the reather dim lighting, and the fact that he was definately not alone. The strange energy he had sensed outside had increased ten-fold, and it seemed to be emanating from the two strange beings in front of him. They weren't human; he could tell that much immediately. But the question remained as to what they could possibly be. Were they ghosts? It didn't seem likely. Their aura's were very... strange... to say the least. Not like any ghosts he had ever seen before. They seemed more... malicious, maybe? That almost seemed like too harsh a word, but it was all he could come up with. Stepping back slightly from the overpowering energies, he realised that they were watching him. That meant that they were truely on this plane. Not like when he saw ghosts; those were like visions. These creatures were actually staring at him. And they looked dangerous. "Umm..." he muttered, trying to avoid their eyes and failing miserably, "I'm sorry if I interupted something... I thought I might have heard someone in here, and... I guess I was right..." His cheeks were beginning to blush, and his heart was beating a hole in his chest. "Should I just leave, or..." He trailed off, still feeling their eyes boring into him even as he attempted to stare at the floor.

Shaun;s emerald gaze never left the boy's form. However, he remained silent. He was not at all good at this - after all, he had never met a human that had been able to see him unless he so wished it. At last he spoke, his voice soft and musical, but alwas with that hint of discord. "Who are you... and how do you come to see us?" he asked, retaining the voice of formality he had adopted during his years of being an angel. Shaun might be a demon, but he still disliked and even feared killing. It would be best just to wipe this human's memory of their existance... and let him go. But Shaun was afraid that the other Fallen would have different ideas. He seemed a much more pugnascious figure.

Setsuna's heart seemed to stop completely as the figure closest to him began to speak. The words were human. That is- he could undersand the language clearly, though whether it was his own language or not, he couldn't tell. But the voice! This being's voice was entirely ethereal! There was something extremely melodic about it, but at the same time, something very disturbing, something he couldn't quite place. But this being had asked him a question. "Who am I..." he repeated, trying to regain control of his situation, "Oh! My name! My name is Setsuna," he said, as if just realising this for himself. "As for how I can see you..." His gaze shifted again between the two, finally coming to rest on the other figure- the silent one; and a pang of fear mixed with curiosity shot through him. He seemed like one of those people who both frightened and excited you all at the same time. Setsuna gulped, and forced his eyes away, continuing his train of thought. "I can see ghosts, but that's not what you are, is it? You're something else."

Agares had not yet said anything, as the new arrival had come before he had the chance to give any advice or apology, which was quite lucky as he had no intention of giving either. He eyed the young boy curiously, as if he were some sort of rare animal. "you can see ghosts? Now that's an impressive feat. I've never encountered someone who lacked enough common sense to be able to do that. And don't get me wrong, I'm sure you're as rational as the next guy, but people with sense seem to lack any sort of awareness for these kind of things. I've even had a few of them take one look at me and have their heads explode right off their shoulders, literally. Although that may have just been my fault." he chuckled darkly and gave the human a predatory grin. "So now that you've seen us, little one, can you give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you on the spot?"

Shaun paused for a moment, surprised. "Ghosts...?" He had never heard anything of those as either angel or demon and he couldn't place the word - it did seem familiar - until he thought back to his human life. Ghosts... they were the spirits of those passed, weren't they...? Perhaps those stuck in Pergatory... or maybe just those with regrets that would not allow them to ascend -- or descend. A faint smile spread across his delicate lips. "No, we're not ghosts," he murmured. Then, his tone becoming more business-like, he asked, "Does anyone in your family share this trait... or just you?" Perhaps it was something passed down - there had always been angels (and demons) that mated with humans... Perhaps with child simply had watered down blood that allowed him to see the etherial beings.

Shaun frowned in distaste at the other Fallen's words. He didn't like the idea of death - especially not if it would get him dirty. Somehow Shaun doubted he would be able to stay clean if Agares exploded the human that stood before them. "Ew, no," he muttured under his breath, brow wrinkled. He knew it wasn't particularly demonic of himself to be grossed out by gore, but he couldn't help it. He had always been skittish around the sight of carnage.

The darker figures words struck a note of fear in his heart, but it was soon replaced by that same excited curiosity by the fact that they were speaking to him. The figure closest to him seemed not to be quite so threatening as the other, so he acnowledged it's question first. "I don't think anyone else in my family can see ghosts... Then again, my parents are divorced, so I don't really see either of them much. I live on campus." As soon as the words passed his lips, he mentally kicked himself. Great. Now they would know where he lived. Of course at the rate this was going, the scary one may not even let him leave the watch tower anyways. 'That would be interesting,' he thought in dry humour, 'maybe after today, this place really will be haunted. By me. ...s**t.' Setsuna tried to think of a reason for them to spare his life, but could think of nothing worth saying out loud. Finally, after a long moment of awkward silence, he whispered, "I'm not going to beg for my life."

The older demon gave Shaun an incredulous look. "Ew, no?" he said with astonishment. "Aww, come on! I wasn't really gonna kill him, I was just teasing." he said with an exasperated sigh. "What kind of demon are you if you don't like a little human torment? And you want to do to old Erasmus, what I think you want to do to him, then you have a hell of a lot of work to do." he concluded. Never before had he seen a squeamish demon.

"Mmm... I suppose you're just an oddball, then," he murmured with a slight shrug, the movement of his shoulders sending a ripple down the entire length of his ebony hair, which was currently braided neatly over one shoulder. If he had been blond and had his pearly wings back, he would have been the epitomy of angelicy. Occasionally, even in this form, when his wings had been hidden, humans had thought of his still as an angel from his sweet looks. That is, humans that he had allowed to see him. He had, after all, had to ask for directions to the "haunted" clock tower. Having once been an angel, he still carried the misguided misconception that demons were most often found in creepy dark places. That was, for the most part, true... but there were quite a few demons that were quite fine with appearing in broad daylight.

Shaun glared at the other demon, a frown spreading across his lips. "That entirely different. He betrayed me and there's no way I'm letting him wrong me in that way without suffering. But if you explode this human, chances are I'll be covered in sime and blood and... eugghh." He didn't bother finishing, his face contorted in an expression of disgust. "That would just be gross."

Agares grinned slightly "You're right it is different. Revenge certainly is sweet." he gave the human a quick scowl to rescue the remnants of his intimidating appearance that he had so prided himself on, before promply ignoring him again. It didn't concern him on who could see him and who couldn't. "Very well, you've convinced me, I'll help you find this Erasmus character, but just bear in mind that I don't offer my help for nothing, you should think long and hard as to whether you want want my help or not."
