+"At the beginning of time there ruled a Council of Nine. This council was made up of titanus dragons who controlled a specific element of the creation of gaia. As time progressed however the planet stabilized and the incredible might of the Council was no longer needed on gaia. To keep things from ever falling into chaos before the dragons finally departed each took a fragment of their soul and embued it into an artifact. These artifacts where said to be lost forever, baried under the ruins of the once great homes.

Now more than three thousand years after the departure of the dragons a loose state of confederations has formed upon the continent of Kamilia. The goverenments have been replaced with great guilds that vy for power. We are one of the guilds that have been soly deticated to upholding of ideals of a specific dragon, the Great Black." A History of the Guild ~ As told by Hytoshu Rahl...+

If you guys want I could write a history and then we can roleplay through to the actual finding of the swords and even go through that again because all that information was lost too.

I can tell you've put effort into what you've put up already, but I've already got a new guild story thought out pretty much. Don't get me wrong; what you've got there would be an excellent setting for a fantasy RP - maybe KB can make better use of your story making ability in the new subforum. The story I've thought up isn't much of a medievil or Dungeons and Dragons/knights and wizards kind of thing, but it is fantasy no less.

I'd be happy to share more of the story I've thought up without spoiling any of the points that'll be RPed out. It will not require any of the current plot histories to change and will simply begin off of where everyone is post-time jump.

Actually I just winged it out of my a**. I took the concept of the 9 swords which we've done thrown in a bit of guild wars and warcraft mythos and then rounded it back into what we've already done so far. Could we get a history of whats behind your plot?

I thought it was seven swords sweatdrop Bah.... Warcraft.... how many lives you've ruined. If it weren't for that game Irvine would probably still be here.

I may as well put what I've got up on the first page; I just need to put it all together. I'll do that in a little bit. In general, it basically starts with the 'beginning of the world' perse, and introduces some of the mysteries and events that the new central plot will be, well..... centered around.

I admit that even I play wow... Sorry about this Kaiori but I used your name... It sounded like a good mage name. Tell me when you get the first page up and I'll be back.

Did people just stop reading at one point and I didn't notice, or is it just all the apathy?

Seriously, no feedback = nothing happens.

So far very few people seem to have actually read this and responded to the things that've been said. (To those of you who have contributed, you guys rock!). As for the rest of you, I doubt you're silent because you have nothing to say.

This seems to be a recurring theme actually. The guild members bring a problem to me, and after some procrastination I put up a solution that more or less asks for some amount of effort from the guild........ sadly, the members who yitch to me about problems don't always seem to be as willing when I ask them for some help. If this is a biased view, then prove it wrong by actually giving some feedback. Please, really, that's all I'm asking..... leave the rest of the solution making to me if you want.

What do I want feedback on you ask? Well here's a brief recap.

The time jump
the 'Break the World' event
The major factions of the new plot (Mastema, Dom, KB, the BC, and the undeclared)
Which threads can be locked or deleted
and ideas for a simplified RP battling system that will retain the freedom of open roleplay while giving some structure to plot relevant fights

Honestly, if you're fine and good with everything I've posted, I'm just looking for a 'sounds good to me' so I know I can move forward with the ideas. As is, everything seems to be at standstill.

With love,
Thanatos heart

P.S. Ace those school/college exams!~ domokun

Hmm...Well if you'd like more input from myself, you could always PM your entire idea for the main things to come? I've been reading a rather interesting book that covers any and all information from the Wheel of Time series and my creative wheels are turning. Not to mention the Break the World scenario is rather prevelent in The Wheel of Time series.

I Like the Whole Going Back to the Old way of the BC, where we had the Main Plots and people Jumped in, It was Simple but yet Effective.

Hmmm...well The Fractions, Are pretty Much correct. In the future Though, Sai will be Joining the Black Company in its Defenses, in her own Villian Way, But it doesnt mean That She will be Happy Go lucky, But its a work in progress, Shes already helping with the garden. (Sorta)

Also, I think that there are way too Many Threads to be Hopping to and from, i think we should have like a thread clean up and only keep the major Ones, and have like a subforum for the rest, that way the BC's main Forum is nice and neat. I could also Pay for that One I guess.

Just an Idea.

From what I've read about the whole trying to fix the guild thing, I think it's a great idea. Might be the kick in the a** that everyone needs. I know I got bored with all the crap that was going on, and WoW sucked me back in. >.o; Anyways, I'll be trying to poke in once in awhile, if ya still want me here. Mark down Rosie as one of the undecided. How much time do you think will roughly pass? I wanna fix my bio and do some things, to firgure that all in and to firgure out what happened between the time she left here last and the time it's suppose to be again. I got a few ideas though brewing in my mind... ^^

I've been looking the thread over more, if you are waiting for people's ok to move on, give them a few more days then move on yourself. You've gave people more then enough time to read it and post something. That way the rest of the guild, and yourself isn't being punished.

I've been meaning to put up the basic back story that all the future, central plots will rely on, but first quarter midterms are rolling around and I'm trying to get a job, so hopefully I can get to that sometime soon. If you want to drop any of your new ideas by me or want to know more info on what I have planned, you've got my IM.

Sai: Yeah, I remember the old days of when everyone knew when others would be on and everyone could actually do stuff together, usually against an enemy made by 9 or one of her friends. The difference is obviously that I'll have to play the part that 9 did in the past.

So, would you like me to put Sai's name under the Black Company list?

Agreed; there are some threads that were plot central in the past but now serve little purpose, and could probably be put in the universal location thread if they were ever needed again. I would like to clean them up, and I'd like to start by rooting out the ones that can just be deleted and to do that I need the people who have created threads to volunteer to have them deleted or if they can be locked for the time being.

The real goal is to keep the guild threads on one page. If we can delete enough to have enough space to add several threads if needed, then we won't need another subforum. If it turns out a lot of old threads aren't going to be used but people still want to keep them, then we'll put all of those in a new storage subforum and lock them until people ask for them to be brought back out.

Regardless, there's no need for you to pay for it. The guid account has nearly 200k in it.

Rose: Glad you could come back at such a convenient time. ^_^ I like it when past members come back. I'll put Rose on the undecided list right now.

I'm trying to be patient with letting people post, because I know that most of the veterans joined this guild several years back, and their workload has increased because of continuing education.

As for how much time will pass, again, I said it was more or less relative. All of the threads, though in the same world, seem to be moving at radically different time intervals. Rel's sanctuary has moved about 1 hour time wise in the past half year, the citadel as moved a few weeks in the past half year, and D's mansion seems to have had several months pass in that time. The time jump is supposed to realign all the time elements so everyone's at the same starting line when the Break the World thing comes along. I've left it up to the members to decide how much time they want to pass for their individual characters, so they can actually have things happen to their characters without needing the strenuous RP explanations. This will also give places like the citadel time to finish the new modifications, as well as time for places like Dom's Bastion to finish building his war army.

In a nutshell, it's arbitrary xp

On a completely unrelated note, I love French Vanilla Capucinno heart

Yes I know I spelled it wrong, rawr.

Heh, I saw that coming with Relly's thread. ^^' I know one RP we got into...lasted a month, only like an hour if that passed by. XP I love him anyways though. ^^

One thing though, you might want to have it centered about the same time for everyone, I was thinking about it'd be good idea if like five years has passed for Rosie, but if she comes back five years later...everyone else has only had a year or two pass...it's one of those things I gotta start pulling crap out of my arse to explain it..and then things get even more confusing. @.@

Another idea, you might wanna set a thing, say that, for example two days real time passes...so like four days RP time has passed or something like that. I know sometimes RP gets put on hold, so then when it's finished they can skip ahead to the time that's correct....or something.... Mmm, that sounded better in my head..then on paper. @.@''

I suppose it depends on what the guild wants out of the time jump. I guess it really can't get any better or worse if the same amount of time passes, since people have characters change at different rates anyway.

Hmm..... setting a definitive clock relation in the real world to BC might be more cumbersome than it's worth... and it really won't serve much purpose. sweatdrop We seem to have done quite well in the past without a specific time measurement.

Eh, it's your guild, if you don't like an idea, you don't have to go with it. I was just thinking it's easier. I've seen it in RP's before, where two kids are born about the same time, though one suddenly jumps to ten years old, while the other is still a new born. >.>''' No one gives an explantion or anything to it, but I guess if that's how it is, that's how it is. Meh, screw real life logical, everyone else has.

Mmmm, I was just thinking about something, I don't mean to be a bother, but ummmm.... If you don't have everyone set at a certain time for them to all to start and don't have a thing to keep everyone on the same page...erm.... How long do you expect all this hard work to last? The plot and all that will probably last a while, but I dunno about keeping people on the same time. <.<; It'll go back to the whole "Rel's sanctuary has moved about 1 hour time wise in the past half year, the citadel as moved a few weeks in the past half year, and D's mansion seems to have had several months pass in that time." Meh, it's your guild, once again, I know you probably don't really care what I ave to say and it wont affect anything, I just haven't seen anyone say anything on the matter.... So ya.... ^^''
