A knock at the door held the first suprise of the morning. One of her dear friends had left a letter on the door step. Definatly Kit because she's the only one to be able to dissapear as fast...



Curiosity had Kat's attention. So stuffing her feet in her cow shapped slippers hugging her bright purple fleece tightly to her body against the morning frost, she shuffled out into the Dawn. A growl caught her atention- Just like Brit to give her a feral animal- How could she bring a ferocious animal into the lives of to children and a not yet born babe? Sighing she turned the courner and gasped. The growl had come from yet one of the most beautiful creachers she'd seen yet... Aproching slowly she held out her hand to it. It's growling ceased as she approched. It's eyes watching her closely alowed her fingers to touch it's head. Fur so soft, like- well... There's nothing as soft she could think of, a smile pulled at the sides of Kat's face. "Your beautiful."

The beast looked up into Kat's eyes. My name is Achthonian.

Kat froze for a moment. The voice, she swore, she heard in her head. Was she going mad?

No you heard me. I choose who I'll talk to. Achthonian's voice was silky but on the edges it was rough. Rather miss matching of her apearance.

Kat's mind raced though things, "So you'r name's Achthonian? If I remember my God's and Goddess's right- That means Goddess of Earth and the Under World?" The nod from Ach and the eiry smile sent a cold chill through her body causing Kat to shudder. "Lets get inside it's freezing out here."

Leading the way with Ach only a step or two behind her they walked back inside. Kat diving for the warmth of the inside fire, stripped herself of the fleecey house coat and bathed in the warmth beconing Ach over to it. "Get warm. This is just the begining. Snow will be falling soon enough!"

Ach eyed the fire cautiously. Then noticed the rather strange lump on her belly. Does that hurt?

Without thinking Kat replied, "Does what hurt?" Ach indicated her belly, "This? Nah, I'm pregnant... I'm going to have a child." Realising something she added, "Do you like kids?"

I am a female, so I must? Why do you ask such a silly question? Ach flexed her muscles and settled a little closer to the fire's warmth.

"It's just... I have two adopted Children and-"
I know. I sence them. One is the spawn of chaos. The other... Used to be quite like a mouse. She cut in with a hint of amusement and what sounded like a chuckle. The boy corupts much. But I'll keep him in line. As for the unborn child. I'm sworn to protect. Her voice went stealy as if she dared someone defy her, the privilage.

Kat suddenly burst out laughing, "So that is why Brit bought me you." She laughed untill the babe kicked as if saying 'thanks for waking me'. Calming down she explained. "Brit knows I'm having troubles with the little sods. But I love them both. My fear is that he'll corupt the babe."

Imposible. The child will thrive off love. It will probably help keep that chaos spawn in order. Achthonian's voice was almost comanding if not repremanding of Kat's train of thought.

Smiling meekly she gave a silent apology. Reached out and scritched Ach behind the ear and settled on the floor beside her. "I've longed so much for a pet to talk sence to me like you do."

Reserved for teh babies first breaths of air- Shesh, and no thank-yous will be heard for carring the little one for 9 months... From here on- It's I WANT and GIMMIE! Also tempertanturms from all four kids -Yes from Kat aswell.

Kat finnaly found time; between juggiling a babe what was more fur then any of her pets, the two other boys getting jelous of the extra attention the newly born got, and causing more chaos then ever, to make it to the post office to enquire from whom the package had come from...

In finding out, it only held more confusion, musing over it untill she got home she sat down with Ach at her side staring at the scroll, "Why would my sister send me this? I haven't spoken to her since I left home... She never liked me anyway..." Her eyes widened, "I bet its something bad." Her eyes traveled over to Ach.
I've never seen anything like it before. The she seemed to stop to think, If it was bad would it not have 'curse's scribed somewhere on it? I cannot see any.
The thoughtful tone from Achthonian cought her attention, "Point.... But you never know? Best put it away from the other children encase it -is- bad?"
Shrugging wolfishly Ach gave her a 'your stupid' kind of look. Its nothing but a bit of old paper. Stop worring over it,

As if that was Daniel's cue, the babe burst out into tears- Or as close as the racoon, for, cat, robin- What ever else was in there, could managed. Blaintedly Kat wondered if he'd ever have the ability to talk.
Picking up the wailing ball of fluff she snatched up the scroll stuffed it carefully back into it's tube and put it away onto of the cupboard's out of reach of the children, but still in eyeseght of herself so she could keep an eye on it. Then she set herself the task of calming Daniel, the motherly instinct claming her the instant she scumbed to it.

Why do you ask so many questions?

Ach snorted I ask questions because of my nature. And shut it you great purple lump of hide!
Daniel giggled at Achthonian as Kazimirious gave a dignifide snort. Kat looked up at them all. "You know. I wish I knew how to make him talk english. Doy you have nice conversations Ach?"
Very. It's fun trying to interperate him... She lied flat out.
"Oh, well... If you can teach him to talk?" Kat hinted with a wink before bustling off to do some more house work.
