Richard smiled, it had some sympathy in it this time. "As far as I can tell its true."
Richard certianly hoped they couldn't do invertabrates but he didn't want to bet on it. He picked his tackle box and rod back up. "I'd apologise to Cody then, you really upset the poor boy. He doesn't deserved to be gawked at, none of us do." Richard's voice was stern, like a disappointed parent. He moved to walk away.

"If it is true, Then you are right sir, I should apologies to the boy. But he did not have to act as he did to me. He should know that those of us who are human are not use to seeing such things. I mean, I am a geek and love sci-fi but if what you say is true, well no one is ready fro such a thing."
Gallen watched the old man as he started to walk away, his stomach ached as he started to fear if what he was told was true, and that possibly he might be turned into a slug or worse. What did he do to deserve this, being concerned over his sister?

Richard continued walking toward the duplexes. "If truth is in front of your face, then you only have yourself to blame when you cannot see it."
"Good night, Mr. Gallen."
Richard plods off towards the village.

Gallen stood there with a blank look on his face. This old man was quiet wise. But was what he said the truth or the ranting of an old senile man. Till Gallen saw more proof he figured he would just keep a neutral view. On thing he knew was that he needed to find Cody again and apologies, what Richard had said did make Gallen feel bad for upsetting Cody.
“Good night sir. I hope we can talk again. By the way what is your animal?” Gallen remembered being asked this same question the day before by Cody.

"No idea." It was a whisper. It might have carried to Gallen's ears or it might not have. Richard didn't care. What ever it was, Richard doubted it was going to be pleasent.
