Ligeia gave a bright smile to Kat as she handed him a bag, "Thank you, I worked on it all on my own. Earako showed me the best books to learn sewing from." He said, not sure if Kat knew the bat girl.

Ter gave a hissing sound and a roll of his eyes, his brother was so weird... he took the bag from Kat and gave her a nod, "Thankssss." He muttered, he liked her well enough. She gave him a plushy dragon after all! After looking his bag over he then smiled some as he saw that it had his name on it. That made it of course better then all the other bags. Even if they looked same. Now... to score himself some candy! More then Ligeia got and enough so that he could share with Baroness!

She and Vorel were asked to wait at home, Orpheus hoped that some time alone without the Ter's encouraging of her would let the two dragons get used to each other. An attempt at having them make friends. One could only hoped that two such opposite dragons could get along... would make life at home a lot easier.

Orpheus gave a sigh of relief and a smile, Ter had used manners even if he didn't use that many words, "Teh Labtechs seem like they are giving out candy." He told his sons. Ter was immediently slithering off to get some from them.

*****

Valens looked down at the bag, then gave a little sound of delight. Wow! That had worked! Holding the bag up by its handles he waved it back and forth in the air much like one would a flag so that his parents could see it. Lamiah clapped for him happily and made her way over to the little horse boy, "Very good job, did you say thank you to the nice people?"

Valens blinked a couple times then turned his gaze back over to Kat to give her his BEST smile, "Thanks!" He said, lifting a hand to straighten out the crown that seemed to be tilting due to all his active motions.

"Come on, lets go show Daddy the bag." Lamiah said, taking the boys hand so that she could lead him over to where LaVey waited for them. LaVey gave the bag a once over and then nodded.

"Ahh... Nice." He said, not exactly sure yet how one was supposed to act around little kids.

That seemed more then enough for Valens though as he set to waving his bag turned flag once again and gave a sound much like a little whinny.

It was a really good thing that Alan hadn't laughed when Peri had entered. The man was barely settling for glaring at the boss, anything else and he'd have to cause some serious harm to that man. As it was, the teacher raised an eyebrow at Revon, who was inventing some new dance. He chuckled a bit as he saw the wrapping the raven boy was holding onto. Nibal leaned over to look at the candies. Peri picked up a bag of gummy bugs and handed it to the kid.

They'd go pick their own goodie bag up later. They weren't going to the party anyways. Peri wasn't big on those things. Even if there would be a lot of mothers there to flirt with, he'd rather just stay at home. Or stay here and eat some of the finger foods that everyone else was ignoring in favor of the candy.

Kat nodded to the thankyou, waving as Ala left "Have fun!" she urged to the groups retreating form, only to look back and catch the poor raven boy with a bad face. She gave a light giggle to his expression, oh children... Poor thing, either it was somethign sour or spicy.

Attention was turned back to Ligeia as he spoke, "Oh wow, all by yourself? That's amazing!" She smiled, nodding to the name Earako. She knew the girl, but only when she'd been younger. Ter was moving away, and naturally she gave a wave, "Go go, enjoy the candy! Theres food too, if you eat too much candy you'll get a tummy ache." She smiled, with a soft giggle. It was obvious the woman worked around children all day.

And again her gaze shifted as another boy started away, "You're welcome. Have fun! Feel free to help yourself to the food." She addressed the parents for the last part.

Alan, had settled back even further, now getting his attention drawn by Talia who was urging him to play one of the doll's parts. Grudgingly, he was obligeing and trying to keep everything he had to make the doll say more hushed. Talia was staying quiet, mostly, offering the daddy doll peices of candy, one after the other, receiving a thankyou for each one and offering a giggle in return to that.

Kat had no trouble picking up for Alan, it seemed hte kids were rather frightened of him anyways. And who wouldn't be? Kat had been scared of him herself, before Talia showed up and she was forced to get to know him alittle better. But back to the guests. "Here you go!" She passed the bag to Aysel, looking over the costume. "Very clever." she noted with a grin.

Yes, it was the spicy dance. Though as he got used to it, or maybe he was just numb to the sensation of it now he stopped, and ducked under one of his wings realizing that some person he didn't know had been watching him. They had a child sure, but how was he to know it was another teacher. One he'd meet later. Attempting to keep his mouth shut around the still mildly unpleasant candy(that should never have earned the title of candy) he glanced around the area from under the black feathers. It was becoming a little less crowded now a snake, a bird, the person eating snacks. But most of the others left. Maybe it was safer to duck out from under his wing to see what other people where up to.

Haruki didn't want candy, nor did he want any of the finger foods. Frankly, he hadn't made them and he didn't know where the ingredients had come from. He tended to be the kind of person who bought organic foods, cleaned them thoroughly, and prepared all of his own foods the same way. Knowing what he was eating was something he prided himself in. Obviously something like that didn't matter with Revon. Seeing as the boy had eaten a large chunk of raw meat and shown no signs of becoming ill. Still, he prefered not to repeat the experience, or see the child eating it. But he'd survive whatever preservatives where in that stuff, his stomache was obviously more bird than human.

Revon managed to spot a game he hadn't seen before going on between a younger girl in the back and the scary man. They where using dolls or something. But hadn't Haru said he couldn't bring his doll with him? A frown showned momentarily on his face. Now he wished he'd brought his pink doll, then he'd have something to play with too.

Anoki nearly ran into D-Corp's lobby, trailing a long flame-colored tail and a pair of wings behind him. They were both sequined and shiny and handmade by Mahou, who was masterful with a needle and thread. Even though his horns were longer, Anoki still figured that he looked a good bit like Myung-Ki, which was excellent since that was what his costume was.

The dragon entered at a more sedate pace, pausing at the entrance so that everyone could admire him. Wrapped around his neck was a long red velvet scarf that trailed on the floor, in place of a bulkier cape that would immobilize his wings. There was a good deal of jewelry, both costume and authentic, around all four of Myung-Ki's legs and around his neck. And tied on top of his head was a large gold plastic crown, studded with a myriad of fake gemstones. Even though it was fake, it looked good, and that was what mattered.

Scratching Myung-Ki on the back of his neck, Anoki waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally he shouted outside. "Mama R-ray, come and sh-show your c-costume!"

"For the last time, Anoki Kenelm, it is not a costume!" Temper stoked, Raven strode into the lobby. She was decked out in a long black robe with embroidery in colorful metallic threads, the most brilliant of which were the gold ones around the collar. The robe was light and flowed, creating quite a silhouette. Fluted sleeves and a broad hem made the garment almost look more like a dress than a robe, but Raven would be quick to correct anyone who mistook it. Of course, the peaked hat she wore and the besom she carried in one hand might have helped with the mistaken identity, but that didn't mean Raven wouldn't let loose. She had a reputation, after all, and wouldn't be caught in such a ridiculous activity. "This is for work, nothing more. I have better things to do than dress up like an imbecile."

Flinching under Raven's reprimand, Anoki slithered away quietly, over to the counter. He recognized the teacher there, and grinned at her. "T-trick or treat, M-miss Kat!"

"Miss Dragonsbane," Raven corrected idly.

"Th-that t-too."

"Yes, Emi, you have to go," Aiden said patiently to the girl who was clinging to his hand. The little swan child had been begging him to stay home and help pass out candy with Khalindra and Alex (Who had refused to go out that night) but the fact of the matter was - Aiden thought his daughter needed more interaction with others.

"But..." Wasn't it enough that she had to deal with a dragon? Even if that man had said that the dragon wouldn't eat her, it was still scary. A DRAGON, for heavens sake!

"Besides, you look gorgeous, Emi."

The little girl was dressed in a pink dress that was slightly puffed out by tule and had a layer of pink gauze atop of it. A pink satin ribbon was wound around her waist and on the top of her head was a pink satin witch hat complete with a tule and gauze ribbon wrapped around it. Yet another ribbon, matching the dress and hat, was wrapped around her neck to make a choker.

On her feet were a pair of white Mary-Janes and frilly white socks and her white hair was curled, falling easily down her shoulders. An adorable, very pink, witch.

She, of course, had picked the costume out herself. Pink was such a pretty color - even though her father and sister hated it. Cy had loved it and that was really all that counted. He was, after all, her best friend. Even if he was a baby.

"Thank you," she murmured as she was pushed lightly towards the table. People were getting gifts? Well, maybe it would be okay. Shyly she took a few steps forward and smiled at the familiar face. "T...trick or treat?" she asked uncertainly. Her father had coached her in the entire process of halloween a week ago but she was still unsure if she was getting it right. She was willing to try, at least.

"Hold still!" Both said in unison to each other. The love bird shouting at his mother as he tried to pull up her leotard, and his mother shouting back at him, as she tried to hook the clasp on his toga. Naito, unlike some of the other parents, was never one to pass up a chance for some dress up fun. So by when it came time for Halloween to roll round, she was ready and set with what she deemed a 'most awesome costume'.

"Just what the heck are you again?" Said the colorful child, a little miffed that his mother had 'ruined' his costume. It was so cool! He had planned on going as 'cupid'...he already had the wings, and love being his forte and all...Ma' however, had ruined that idea when he walked out in his boxers. "No" she had flatly said, "Nononooooo," after that it turned into a high pitched shriek at which point she had attacked him. Two hours later the two were now preparing to enter D-corp, fully dressed in costume and ready to go.

"I'm from the eighties," came a huff from the blonde. "It's before your time...you wouldn't understand. " With that, she pulled down her leotard so that more of her chest was exposed, an effort which Paxton of all people had been trying to correct.

Irritated, the pair walked into the building. "Front desk.." nudged his mother, it was a miracle she had remembered. Taking his time, Paxton slipped his way towards the members behind the structure. Just a few in front of him, but once it was his turn--"Trick or treat for me too!" Came a toothsome smile from the pre-teen. That was what he said...right? Or should he have asked that man for what ever it was he was supposed to be getting?

----------

Light has long left the sky for the trick-or-treaters. D-corp's small partake in the festivities is now at it's peak, with people coming in, fetching their things, and leaving. The renound boss of D-corp was downstairs, overseeing the activities, while other teachers (Mostly Kat) and Tech are passing out things and socializing. And at the moment, he was ducked down behind hte receptionist desk. Everything is going well.

In the midst of people coming and going, two normal human men enter in a costume set. The first a long haired, tan, with his dark hair tied back in a ponytail, was in a blatantly obvious female nurse costume, and looked unhappy about this. Though it seems that he may have shaved, as there is no obvious body hair on his legs. Or anywhere for that matter. Beside him is a red head, short firey hair, and in a matching doctor's costume, though noticeably splattered with more fake blood for effect. Both of which have the mask over their mouth. (Check mystery man pictures in the characters section)

Your sight of them, if any at all, is brief before they dissapere into the elevator. Nothing big, considering how many teachers had been coming in and out of said elevators.

Revon barely noticed the new people who walked in, beyond subconciously shuffling out of the way to keep starring at the interesting game that was going on. Dark wings puffed up at female voice that reminded him too much of his own guardians endless corrections. Bi-colored eyes shifted to the woman momentarily just to see who it was, then back to the game at hand.

Haruki on the other hand watched the two 'doctors' walk in and past to the elevator idly. New workers obviously, he didn't know who they where. Certainly he recognized the other teachers who had come and gone. He didn't know them, he just knew who they were and what they looked like. It was amazing what D-Corp had on file.

Though his main reaction came to the pair that walked in. Naito and the bird. The bird he had very little against, aside from the fact he seemed to be dressed as the creature of love and joy, Cupid. Heaven forbid there be love anywhere. But no. Naito. The infernal cat's partner in crime. He mentally cursed at the idea of being around her and moved another step out of the way. Just pray she didn't see him. That, and that Raja was nowhere to be found.

Kat was hit with another burst of children, first Anoki. She gave a smile to Raven, and a bigger one to Anoki. Poor thing, had a stutter thanks to that woman... Okay maybe that wasn't fair, but she sure seemed harsh sometimes. It'd likely give anyone a stutter. "Hello Anoki!" She picked out the bag, passing it forward. "Oh, please, don't worry. You can both call me Kat, whatever you want! I don't care." She shook her head, all too cheerful. "I love your..." She cut off, remembering the words that had just been spoken seconds before.. Not a costume, so... "Dress? Mrs.Millner. Yours too Anoki."

Next child! Kat smiled, admiring another adorable costume. "Here you are, Emi, dear. You look very beautiful!" She complimented again, handing down the bag of goodies.

And another, goodness, they were just pouring in out of the woodwork! It was so wonderful. "Here! And might i say, wonderful costumes." She gave another giggle, passing forth the billionth bag it seemed.

Both Alan and Kat were far too busy, Alan with the play of dolls that he was trying ever so hard to hide, how silly he looked... He loved playing with Talia but... In front of all his employees felt weird.

Talia glanced away as she ran out of candy, catching sight of a wonderful alice in wonderland costume and grinning. Yay disney! She, herself, had chosen sleeping beauty. Wonderful stories those were. Automatically, she shifted to her feet, fumbling with the dress she moved over to the boy. She gave a wave, and a biiig smile to communicate a hello... She hated speaking, and shifted to a light pink as she became jittery to prepare her sentance. "Play?" Was all that came out, but it was enough for the toddler. She pointed to the dolls and Alan, who let out a sigh.

"Thank you!" Aysel said. "Arith suggested it and Mommy did the make-up." Aysel gave a twirl to show the costume off. Another group of kids were coming so Aysel grabbed the bag. She took off making a beeline for the candy, avoiding random adults in the way. Never get betweeen a child and her candy.

Tara watched blandly from a little ways inside the door, tracking Aysel with her eyes. They still had a party to get to after this after all. They skipped over the pair of doctors as Aysel darted around them, only wrinkling her nose at the fake blood. Must costumes be so gruesome?

With a squee of glee Aysel dug into the candy, this time of year being the only time she was allowed nearly unlimited sugar.

Peri hadn't noticed either of the strange men, seeing how he was enjoying the food. Nibal was nibbling on a sandwich, but had turned to look around at the other kids. They were all dressed up. He wondered why P'las hadn't dressed him up. Thus, he spotted the two 'doctors', though he didn't think much about them other than their costumes were a bit too bloody. Then they got on the elevator and Nibal's attention turned to other things.

Like the bags everyone was getting. He turned back so that he could see Peri. "P'las... bag?" The boy pointed over to where Kat was handing out the orange bags to the other kids.

Peri sighed. He didn't spot Alan over there, so this might be a good time to grab the bag. The man really didn't want to run into his boss. "Okay, Nibal. We'll go get your bag now."

The two walked over and Nibal looked at the woman expectantly. Peri stood there for a moment, then muttered. "You've gotta say 'Trick or Treat'."

"Why?" Nibal asked.

"Because... because that's what you say to get candy on Halloween," was Peri's muttered reply back. As Nibal still looked confused, the man sighed. "Just... say it."

"Trick or treat...?" Nibal said, still confused.

"T..thank you," she responded yet again, giving an awkward curtsey before going further into the room where the rest of the people were milling about. The tables of food looked decent but she wasn't very hungry. Truth be told the young Swan didn't know if she could stomach anything. She was too nervous.

"D..daddy?" She asked, looking around for Aiden. He came up behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, you okay? Look, you got goodies."

"Uhhuh," she murmured, feeling a wave of calm wash over her. Her father always made things okay. Besides, maybe Etain or Revon would be here! That would be fun.

Even if Keivlos was there it'd be fun. At least she knew them, right? It was then that she started to peer cautiously around for her friends.

Cody walked ahead of his guardian and 'brother', swinging his cane about as they approached the building. Not one but two parties to attend, it would probibly be the largest socialization that the young bull boy would have this far. Again he hoped to catch Keanu there.

"You will behave yourself this time." Winter warned, picking up pace a bit to bring herself and Edan alongside Cody. "I don't want to hear anything falling over, hitting the wall, being broken, splashed, splutted, crushed, or smashed."

"I won't do none of it." Cody promised. Well sort of... his idea of being good and her idea of being good were two different things.

"You don't want to mess up your costume." Edan piped in, dressed in a wooly sheep otufit, "Winter and I worked so hard on it, what if you win the contest?"

"What contest?" Cody paused in front of the door, glancing over his shoulder..

"The letter said there'd be a costume contest. I bet there's going to be quite a turn-up. You don't want to be the only one there that gets kicked out for being dirty."

Cody tipped his head, considering this. Edan knew how to have his way with Cody. The boy hated to loose, even worse was being kicked out of something without any chance to win!

"I won't get it dirty." Cody said at least with a hearty nod. "C'mon, they said somethin' bout candy." He turned once more and started through the doors, waving his tail around beind him.

"I owe you one..." Winter whispered down to the sheep boy. Thank goodness for him..

Haruki only briefly glanced up from thanking god he had a mask(as if they would help) and blending into the wall(like that would do much mroe good) to see Revon approached by a young girl. Which was fine, he needed to interact with people. Now back to being part of the scenery.

Revon jumped slightly at the fact he'd been spotted. What to do what to do..? Too late to pretendbe wasn't looking and he wanted to play but... but. He blinked at the smile she gave him, managing one himself. Then the question, she seemed as quiet as him. If anything th ekinship was enough to add a followup nod the the boy quietly inched over toward the area. Maybe the man wasn't so bad if he was playing?
