So uh... got a bird now. Big story, probably won't go over it all... But yeah. Let's just say I was on business and ran into a fond acquaintance (who knows nothing about business) right in the middle. Talk about a clencher, huh? Think I did good keepin' her in the dark again. Damn, it's kinda really painful to do for some reason. I'm usually a good liar. But she left pretty...eh... normal. Since she left me behind pretty quick, I guess she doesn't want me to go pick up Ithai today... Not that I couldn't use another day off from the kid. And this bird is pretty testy.
It followed me home, but now that it's in, it hasn't come anywhere near me. It's hangin' out on some of my drapes right now; hopefully it doesn't make too much of a mess on 'em- my mother got 'em for me when I moved out.
Nah, I lied. I did kinda trick it a little while ago. Pretended to fall asleep on the couch and it came right over. Tried to reach out to it and scared the thing off again. What's it's problem anyway? Not like I'm abusing it or anything (that scaring it thing didn't count cuz it was unintentional!), and I tried coaxin' it over already. Ah, well, it is the first day. Haven't named it or anything yet. Believe it or not, I'm still kinda suspicious of it. I mean, what kinda businessman has people take home birds as payment instead of money? Is this some kind of... assassin bird? Holy Mother of Jesus, is THAT WHY IT CAME OVER WHILE I SLEPT?! I gotta call Tsu or somethin'- ask her if hers is acting weird around her. Maybe it's trained to steal my goods... Good luck with gettin' the wine cabinet open, birdy!
