I'm in the US, so.. I suppose that's region 1? I never tried to buy any import DVD's so I don't know for sure confused

As long as they included the "Dingo's kidneys" bit, the non existence of God should have been fine.
I think the main problem was that the jokes were too short - in the book, you'd take a sideline out of the story for quite a few pages, for essentially one gigantic joke.
Anyway, the last Rob Grant heard was "filming should start in the summer... of 2000"

- Douglas Adams' books are pretty hilarious but in a very philosophically gloomy way - and the films are devoid of anything remotely funny.... maybe because we Brits have seen it all before....
American input- Hithhiker's movie- nothing funny! American studios can't do British humor. They just don't get it. Hoping RD will be a much better job. But they better hurry up, before all the actors look like the characters' future selves. (Not Lister, of course. biggrin )

But yeah; I'm hoping they get round to doing the damn movie soon! Just as long as they don't change the cast as one rumour suggested; HUGH GRANT AS LISTER?! WHO THE SMEG ARE THEY TRYING TO KID?!?!?! scream

Im begging to wonder if the RD film is just a rumour because all the shots ive seen "supposedly from the film" have dipicted craig charles as was then rather than the way he looks now and on top of that if it is still in filming why is he still fiming in corrie rather than in "austrialla" i hope its not a rumour though cause i reallly REALLY want to see it
