Isi blinked once more, ridding herself of any memories that were clouding her vision. Looking back at the young cheetah, she happily returned the smile- Though it was not as beam-ish as it tended to be. Her silver eyes weren't really focused, as thinking back.. she didn't do it much, and it relaxed her. In a way.

The lioness was quite scatter-brained, and often forgot things. Though, if she tryed, (Which she did not often) she could remember bits of conversations and such.

"Uhhmm.." Isipho blinked, and leaned her large ears back slightly. What was she going to join? She knew.. just not the name. "Oh!" The lioness turned around, and pointed to Pride Rock, far in the distance, with an awkward and unsteady paw. "There! The.. Oh, I forget the name, but that's where I'm joining!"

Kari's expression was masked confusion, she still wasn't so sure about how Isi was acting. She quickly shoved it out of her mind and gave the lioness an encouraging smile while she tried to gather her thoughts and point out where she was going to join.

"There? You'll be really close to where I am, then," she nodded brightly, hoping she was being friendly, "You could come visit, or I could come and visit you~"

Isi grinned triumphantly, and looked back at the cheetah with her chest puffed out in pride. She was going to be close to Kari! The lioness tried to contain her hyperness, and only wiggled her tail happily, in an un-catlike manner.

"Oh! Thats so cool!" She peeped, "Yeah! Visits! And we can play tag when your leg gets better!"

Kari grinned at Isi's excited reaction. She often reacted the same way, and puffed up a bit merely at the thought of it. It was nice to have something in common with others, it makes getting along so much easier. Though it wouldn't really do to mention it this time.

"Yah!" she cried enthusiastically, "I like playing tag, it's my favorite game." It wasn't the whole truth, hide and seek was probably her favorite, but she did like tag very much.

Large paws kneaded the sparse grasses in excitment. And she had thought cheetahs were bad! Hasi had made a mistake, calling cheetahs mean, and that they were the ones that ripped him up. Wait. He had said that, right? No matter. Probably.

"You like tag too?" Her black lipped mouth opened in an 'o' of suprise. "Well.. I guess you would. I mean, you probably mostly win." She grinned happily at the cheetah, and added her to the mental friend list. Which only had her and Hasi, as she had forgotten all the others.

"Yep!" she confirmed brightly with an enthusiastic nod, "I don't always win! It's not easy to win tag, you just chase each other around a lot." She gave another emphatic nod at this comment, she didn't win most games she played but she did make a conscious effort not to do so. She was a lover of games who did not play fair, but it was in favor of the other participants so she felt it was ok.

Most of the time, anyway. Chenza wanted a rematch because of the race they'd run together..

Isi beamed at the lithe cheetah. "Just? Well.. I guess." Her eyes dulled slightly as she realized that was all her favorite game was. But, it was still fun, right? Right. Her bright eyes returned and she nodded, making little "Mmhhm." noises.

It had been a while since she had played a game. Sure, the butterflies and all the other bugs liked to play Follow-Me with her, but other then that? None.

Kari started when Isi caught an inadvertant word she put into her description of tag, and she went into an awkward kind of panic mode.

"N-n-no! I didn't mean it like that, it's just that-" she bit her lip, trying to figure out a good way to reword it. She stammered through many incomprehensable words while Isi's eyes became bright again and she thought about the games she plays with bugs.

"Huh?" The small lioness blinked, and looked at the queer animal. Why were they called cheetahs? Hmm. As she pondered this mystery, a cloud, a real cloud! It was rolling by, tumbling along the sky with it's white puffyness.
Entranced, sliver eyes darted up towards the cloud, watching it twist and turn as the wind blew it everwhich way.

Kari looked at Isi with an apologetic expression until the lioness was distracted by a cloud. She sniffed curiously, and glanced upward towards the clouds as well. Isi was so odd, and easily distracted- and the cheetah wasn't sure if she'd upset her or not. She took a hesitant step backwards, and then another as if she were preparing to leave.

"I- I'm sorry we can't play now, Isi," she murmured, "If you come back another time, my leg'll be better and we can."

Twisting her ears towards Kari, Isi quickly turned her head the same way. Why was she moving away? Had she said something?
With a confused expression, she opened her mouth as if she were about to say something, then blinked, closed her mouth, and said, "Thats okay! We can see eachother again and stuff.. and.. Uhhmm.. Play games! And looks at clouds and stars and bugs and stuff! Yup!" Her puzzled eyes crinkled in the corners as her mouth widened into her stupid grin, any thoughts that she had done something offending gone.

Life was good. Oh, right, the cloud! With an urgent look on her face, she turned her head towards the cloud, such an uncommon appearance on these dry days, and watched it like a hawk, eyes gleaming.

The confused expression didn't help Kari's feelings. She was only making things worse now, or so she thought- even though Isi seemed content to forget and go about her cloud-watching. She took another step back.

"Ok," she called to Isi, using as friendly a voice as she could manage in her own confusion and anxiety, "I'll see you another time, then.." If she didn't leave now, she might mess up more- and it did seem like she was interuptting now, even if the cloud showed up while they were talking.

"Huh?" Isi's head whipped around at Kari's farewell. She had said something mean, hadn't she? "Oh!" No, she didn't seem mad or offened at all. "I'll see you around! It was nice t' meet you!" She grinned cheerifully in Kari direction, and eyed the cloud out of the corner of her eye. "I'll see you!" She cried out, and bounded away, sprinting after the cloud as it drifted gently towards Pride Rock.
