I totally forgot about Virtual Fighter, but collectors aren't too common right? Or am I wrong?

If you want it just for that just get Sonic Mega Collection on PS2, and Virtua Fighter for PC (though 32X IS pretty pimp razz ) The only complaint I got about Mega Collection is you gotta press R3 (right thumbstick) to zoom in when you're playing the games. when you start there's a black box surrounding the game surprised

Yeah, and don't forget loading times - those things are classified as ghey.

LOL yeah xd Loading times completely suck.

Seriously, I've played hacked emulators that had no loading times, why do these crappy collections have them???

Cause they are on a disk, the machine needs to access info from the disk to be able to present it on the tv screen. Roms and Carts however have almost no loading time since they can access data faster (but have other limitations)

Ironically, emulators made by hackers run with little to no load time cause they are programmed better xd

I wouldn't say it's ironic at all. Programmers and people in the gaming industry get picked by connections and slips of paper rather than actual skill. Actually, that's true with most any industry, so the most elite people in any given field will be those that focused time on their skills rather than sucking up to the man.

Still, it's been so many years since those old games were released, I sometimes can't believe they can mess up the emulations on some of these recent collection games sweatdrop PS2 can run Gran Turismo and mezmerize us with its graphics yet it can't run MK2 without flickering? gonk

Woh! It flickers? They must really suck. Maybe they just didn't put any effort in because they didn't care and they knew people would buy it anyway... The hackers doing it on their time do it cause they like it, thus put more effort?

Well its not as bad as it sounds but if you're an elitist (like gamespot) you can tell. Only the shadow flikers sometimes though personally I dont remember noticing it when I played a few months ago when I got loaned the game surprised

Well in a few weeks the Genesis Collection game should be released on the PS2, which contains quite a number of games including Virtual Fighter 2 and Shinobi. smile

Timo got that and I tried it at your party, remember? xd Its worth gettting. Even if the VF 2 is the Genesis one ._. Good news though if you want the REAL VF 2 you can either a) get a Saturn and get 1, 2, Remix, and Kids or there's an import PS2 version for Part 2 (about 20 bucks). Maybe Sega will make a Saturn collection! whee With Nights into dreams, VF 1, 2, Remix & Kids, Fighting Viper, Fighters Megamix, Daytona USA and many of its greatest hits by Sega 3nodding

Actually Jin I wouldn't mind getting Virtual Fighter 3 for the Dreamcast as well, I remember when that game first came out it was the best looking fighter in the market and it played really well.

But yeah, Sega should definetly make a Saturn collection! I mean a lot of people may not even know how great some of these games are, especially Daytona USA and the Virtual Fighter games. 3nodding
