pussylips the x-ray spex are kind of riot girl whee, x-ray spex! i never considered them riot grrrl but theyre amazing 3nodding does anyone in here like babes in toyland? i think theyre great.

right now, my favorite riot grrrl band is heavens to betsy. their music is amazing, and corin (sp?) has a beautiful voice.

Tara Jane O'Neil is my music idol. Just look at her in that picture! You cant beat her. No musician has ever influenced me as much as she has. PLEASE go look her up! http://www.tarajaneoneil.com/Some other bands/artists that i think you guys would like are Tegan & Sara, All Girl Summer Fun Band, and Ladytron. Ladytron is more electronica while the others are rock. My favorite genre of all time is Trip-Hop. It is truly amazing music!! some trip-hop artists are Portishead, Bjork, Mandalay, Thievery Corporation, and Zero 7. There are many others but those are my favorites. I hope you guys will like them!! Talk to me about music whenever!

Anna Roland is an awesome folk singer (not quite rock...but still, ******** awesome). annaroland.com Oh yeah...Riot Folk, the record label she's on, is also great. biggrin
Antiproduct was a metal band that existed sometime during the 90's, they were a group of eco-feminist, anarchist women with lyrics that totally kick this patriarchy's a**.
