Inflation made me multiple millions before the day I got banned. Now it's preventing me from even owning one of my 3 'normal' outfits.

When the forums die out will be the end of Gaia for me. With battle system close, towns, jigsaw, casino...Forums will be a couple of old Gaians who remember how it used to be.

I remeber coming on after a while and seeing towns and it was eek

I can understand why many feel that Gaia has changed too much--its focusing more on items and less on just doing what Gaia does best--furoms.
Theres alot of helpful stuff in those furoms if you can find the posts made by intelligent or helpful people.
I dont focus much on Items and Profiles and stuff, nor do I spend as much time on gaia as I would like to.
Gaia still provides the neccesary things--furoms, art, discussion, pms and the like, so I guess that its still okay. I dont swoon over new items and fall into the "Must have" fads as they come and go.

I THINK IT HAS CHANGED A LOT SINCE I STARTED HERE BACK IN 05.
SO I CAN'T SAY I'VE TRIED THE OLDEST OF THE DESIGNS.
BUT I MUST SAY THAT SOME OF THE CHANGES HAVE BEEN FOR THE WORSE.
THERE'S TOO MANY THINGS GOING ON, PLUS THE CURRENT GOLD GRANTING SYSTEM IS JUST RIDICULOUS. I KNOW THERE WAS BOTTING, SPAMMING, BUMPING ETC. GOING ON. BUT I'D SAY THAT THE CHANGE MADE IT HARD FOR US GAIAN'S WHO WANTED TO EARN MONEY FAIR AND SQUARE BY POSTING OUR DREAMS, THOUGHTS AND GENERALLY COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS.
THEY HAVE ALSO CHOSEN TO FOCUS ON EARNING REAL CASH MUCH MORE, NOW YOU NEED TO USE REAL MONEY TO GET YOUR HANDS ON ITEMS. BECAUSE THE MARKETPLACE IS HAS BEEN TAXED. D:
AND YEAH... I COULD CONTINUE. STILL LOVE GAIA THOUGH <3
