The girl hesitated for a moment, and entered. She looked around briefly, and took in the beauty. It still didn't phase her from being supremely pissed off at Razzer. "I don't care." the girl said rebelliously, narrowing her eyes and glaring at Razzer. Smirking, Razzer flicked his wrist, sending a small blob of H2O soaring from the pond behind him. It flew past his face and hit the door to the hallway, knocking it closed.
Its job done, the blob of water fell to the ground and splashed over the sakura petals.
"Tell me your name, girl." Razzer said, extending his hand and catching a petal that fell in front of his face. He crumpled the petal in his fist and dropped it to the ground. He looked at the broken petal briefly, then looked back up at the girl.

Ashori stared coldly at him, eyes following the water's progress just for a moment, taking note that water manipulation must be his ability. She didn't even blink though, and instead just shifted her gaze back so she was glaring at him once more. Is he trying to show off? Or seem threatening? She shook her head, growling again in her throat.
And then he bluntly asked her name. Even she knew it was common curtesy to state your own name before asking for that of another, but she didn't except him to follow things like that. The buldges against her back gave a sudden lurge and then slowly settled back again. "Ashori," she hissed. "And yours...?" Her eyes flicked to his squid tail and then back to his face as a faint smirk appeared over her lips. Seems I'm not the only freak around.. Not really a complement to either of them, but rather an insult to both.

The girl followed the water, and seemed indecisive as to whether to be threatened by the move. Razzer didn't mean the blob to be threatening but if it was, all the better.
When Razzer asked her name, the bulges under her cloak gave a throb. Apparently, her name was Ashori. Moronic name, but Razzer didn't tell her that. It would just make her lumps throb again and oh no, he didn't want that!
Razzer noticed as her eyes darted to his... tentacle... and back up to him again. "Razzer." he said in an equally menacing tone. "And yes, it's a tentacle. Live with it. Can't be any worse than those hideous bulges under your cloak."

Ashori took a step towards him before pausing again, a particularly large black spark leaping off her hand and sizzling into the grass, burning away at it. She growled in her throat yet again, and it was now an almost continuous low rumble that wouldn't seem to stop. It increased in volume at his last comment. Why the hell am I putting up with this?! she shouted to herself, keeping her eyes on him. Truthfully, she didn't know how to open the door and refused to let herself fumble dumbly with it in front of him. She'd have to knock him out or something before taking her leave.
Her eye flashed again, a bright red glow beneath her hair, and then she brushed it from her face. The black patch tucked behind a pointed ear, revealing the crimson eye beneath. It was glowing slightly, with a black slit down the middle. Beneath it on her right cheek was a black symbol, almost like a jagged question mark. She watched him silently, with her one blue and one red eye, and then opened her mouth. "Don't speak of things you do not know," she hissed, referring to her wings. He hadn't seen them, yet he was already insulting them.
In the next instant, she'd wipped off her cloak, two large wings spreading wide behind her. The left was black and leathery, the right made up of white feathers. Both were huge, nearly as tall as her, which was five feet, six inches. They spread out halfway, not quite to their full wingspan. A slender black tail with a triangular tip tapped lightly against her leg, darting around in random zig-zags beside and behind her. And then she watched him, waiting to see if something would happen or if he'd just throw in another remark. [I might not be here...]

[Eh, it's okay. I was offline anyways. XP]
He'd definately hit the main nerve this time. Positively fuming, Ashori brushed the tuft of hair to the side, revealing her hidden eye. Unlike her sky-blue eye, this one was crimson and had a black slit for a pupil - not unlike that of a demon. Razzer noticed a marking on her cheek... something resembling a question mark on crack.
"Don't speak of things you do not know." she spat at him. If someone had cracked an egg on her face it would have fried. With a billowing cloud of cloak, her wings spread out. One was angelic and feathery, but the left one - the one on the "dark" side of her was leathery and looked almost like a bat's wing. A spazzy black tail darted around her. She glared at him with the utmost intensity. If looks could kill...
Interesting... Razzer thought.
"And yet you speak of my tentacle." Razzer said calmly. Angry remarks wouldn't get her angrier. His calmness would piss her off more. "It is obvious, Asholi," he said, purposely pronouncing her name incorrectly, "that you are an easily angered person." Allowing himself a small laugh, Razzer returned her stone cold gaze. "Might it be that you yourself are looking for a fight?"
As anyone could tell you, this was quite the opposite. Razzer was the one baiting her, and she had firmly grabbed the hook.
"If is a fight you seek, a fight you will have. Shall we?" Calmly, the mage strode past her and towards the dojo. If she was as intelligent as he took her for, she would have noticed that Razzer had chosen to begin a fight in the dojo away from the pond, as opposed to right there, next to the pond. But he didn't want the fight to be over that quickly.

Ashori glared at him angrily, hands clenched by her sides, hidden in the folds of her long, blue dress. It was backless, making way for her wings, and certainly not something it'd seem easy to fight in. This thought didn't even seem to occur to her as she glared him down.
Random black sparks made their way from her left hand, sizzling into the ground. "I spoke of your tentacle," she hissed, "Because I could see it. You were already making assumptions about my wings."
She closed her mouth again, fangs bared as she shifted slightly in place, ready for something to happen. He moved past her and to the dojo and she turned, keeping her eyes upon him at all times. Then her wings tucked loosely against her back as she followed him quickly. She hadn't had a good fight in ages. She usually avoided people so things like this couldn't happen, but now she was glad it had. She'd be able to let a few things out, like a stress reliever. And now, she could get some practice with her power. She smirked to herself as another black spark shot off from her hand.

"Just because I can't see something, doesn't mean I don't know what's there." Razzer whispered as he passed her. Sparks were shooting from Ashori's fingertips - black sparks. She snarled at him as he passed, showing her pointy white teeth. They surely wouldn't be things that Razzer would want puncturing his skin, but what happens would happen.
Once in the dojo he made his way to the opposite side of the room, and stopped. Pivoting, he turned to face the door. Ashori entered, and smirked. Some more sparks danced from her hand, burning small holes in the bamboo carpeting. Under normal circumstances Razzer would have been annoyed that his bamboo carpet was ruined, but the whole dojo would probably be gone in a few minutes.
Standing still, Razzer noticed he was in a stance similar to that of one of the old western cowboys before they drew their guns and started firing their pathetically weak little bullets. Smiling, he opened and closed his fist, as if to warm it up and prepare it for use. How would he attack, if there was no water in sight? Did he have some secret ability unrevealed, or was there something more sinister at work? Or, quite simply, was he an idiot?

Ashori watched him carefully, mismatched eyes following his every move until he finally stopped. She paused as well, growling quietly in her throat, yet still smirking to herself. She held her hand in front of herself, arm bent slightly and palm halfway open, pointed towards the ceiling. "Ready?" she hissed quietly, but didn't wait for a reply.
She repositioned her hand so the palm was facing him and her smirk grew wider. "I have no idea where this will go," she growled, somewhat smugly, and then stood still. Almost as soon as she'd finished her sentence, three large bolts of black lightning shot from her hand, heading in Razzer's general area, but not neccesarily right at him. It was very true that she didn't know how to control her attack, but she didn't care at all.
She'd seen him use the water to close the door of the room a moment before and glanced around once before looking back at her attack. She didn't see any water around... It was a shame, really. If her lightning struck the water, she assumed it'd travel through and shock him. She wanted to test that and find if it was true.

Calmly, Razzer stood and watched the unnaturally black lightning travel towards him. His arms at his sides, he let the lightning travel closer. Still flexing his hand, he brought it forward suddenly. There was a small explosion behind him and the wall blew apart. The pipes inside burst, sending a small torrent of water spilling out. Whipping his hand to the left, Razzer dragged the water in front of him. It flattened itself out and reshaped, forming a large shield. The lightning bolts struck the shield, and the effect was quite interesting.
Razzer had made sure to put pipes in every wall of the dojo, in case of a situation such as this. Every wall.
As soon as the black lightning hit the shield, the lightning spread out in the water and turned the shield a dark blueish-black.
Taking special care not to let the water too close to the lightning-charged shield, Razzer used his other hand to begin flinging dagger-shaped barbs of water at Ashori. Still holding the shield in mid air, the mage used his powers to begin reshaping the charged blob, forming a star-like object. The object began rotating, spinning faster and faster with each rotation. With a flick of his bandaged wrist, Razzer sent the star careening towards the girl.

Ashori watched silently, waiting to see if her attack would hit. Honestly, she'd be surprised if it did, and maybe a little disappointed as well. She paused as the wall suddenly burst, staring at it blankly ahead as her lightning struck the sheild he'd made. She frowned and lifted her other hand, sparks leaping off of it now as well. She held both hands in front of herself, watching as he shot the little water daggers forward.
She just smirked again though, and tensed her hands as the sparks moved over them, rather than leaping off. She closed her eyes as she stood there, the daggers heading towards her, and then several more large sparks leapt off. She concentrated, directing the small bolts towards the water that was coming at her. She hit most of them, but two managed to slip by. Her eyes opened again and she stepped quickly to one side, wings pushing her over faster.
One grazed her left arm, and the other tore a strip from her dress. She growled again, looking back in time to see the strange star coming towards her. She held up her hands quickly, encasing them with the black energy. It shot off random sparks as it covered every bit of her palm and fingers. Then she reached out, grabbing the star tightly. She was pushed back a bit, boots skidding on the floor as she tried to stop the star's movement without letting it shock her, her energy covered hands acting as a sheild to block out her own attack.

Most of the daggers were stopped by Ashori's lightning, but two still managed to get through and graze her. Razzer never really expected them to make it more than a few feet - they were only a distraction for his shield.
Wow, she has slow reflexes. Razzer thought. Either that, or isn't very good at fighting.
The star-shield spun through the air towards Ashori. She raised her hands and used her dark magic to reinforce them. The star crashed into her hands, forcing her back a few inches. She looked like she was struggling to keep the lightning in the water from zapping her - getting hit with your own attack is just embarassing.
But Razzer had other plans. Suddenly he released the magic binding the star together, and it fell to the floor. The still electrically-charged water splashed to the floor around Ashori's feet - if so much as a drop touched her the lightning would make the jump and fry her.
Just to make sure she could handle two tasks at once, Razzer began flinging more daggers at her. It shouldn't be too hard to keep from getting wet while dodging daggers, right? If you can dodge a dagger, you can dodge a ball...

Ashori clenched her teeth as she pushed against the star, grabbing hold so she could fling it back at him. But just as she was about to, it suddenly fell apart and dropped to the floor. Her wings spread, jerking her upwards and off the floor. She glared at the tainted water hatefully and then back at Razzer, maintaining the expression.
She growled again, a low rumble in her throat, as more daggers came at her. Her wings moved again, dragging her to one side and then dropping her a few feet, all to dodge the little knives. She reached out and caught two more with her sheilded hands, throwing them hard towards the ground.
She really didn't have that much experience with fighting. If she had at one point, it'd all been forgotten by now. She frowned to herself, tail wrapping around her waist as she held her hands towards Razzer again. She shot two more large bolts at him and then glanced down at the water below her. It had her lightning in it, so... She concentrated again, glaring down at the water, trying to make it move across the floor and back towards Razzer whlie he was distracted by the bolts.

As predicted, Ashori shot up into the air, using her gigantic mismatched wings to keep her afloat. She skillfully (though a little choppily) dodged the daggers, actually catching two and tossing them down. While in the air, she launched two bolts at Razzer, but something told him that that wasn't her attack.
Her eyes... they flickered for just a second on the ground below. That was all Razzer needed. She was using the bolts as a distraction while she snaked the lightning through the soggy bamboo carpet. Smirking, Razzer wiggled his tentacle just a little, forcing any water seeping through the carpet near him away - this left a dry circle of carpet around him. Lifting his right arm, he brought up two blobs of water from the carpet. They intercepted the bolts, deflecting them away from Razzer. One bolt hit the ceiling, burning a fair hole in the wood. The other struck one of the wooden pillars supporting the roof, causing it to splinter and send half-burnt shards of wood askew.
Now out of danger, Razzer quickly ran through possible counterattacks. Ashori was flying now, meaning that she would be less able to quickly dodge and change direction. But she also was now immune to ground attacks, and since she was in the air the lightning wouldn't have anywhere to ground - so it would be harmless if it struck her. But then Razzer came up with a plan.
Gritting his teeth just slightly, he wrenched his right arm towards the ceiling and back down again. The pipe running through the ceiling just above Ashori's head burst, sending debris and a high-velocity turret of water soaring downwards at her.

Ashori watched him carefully, bobbing lightly up and down in the air, wings flapping gently to keep her up. Her hands were still pointed towards him as she followed her attacks progress. But then her eyes darted towards the floor again, and she cursed under her breath when she saw he'd cleared away the water from himself. She frowned, lowering her sparking hands back to her sides.
He easily brought up more water to counter her lightning, but that was to be expected. She would never admit it aloud, not in this form, but he really was a good fighter. At least, to her he was. She didn't have much experience herself.
Her eyes watched his arm as he jerked it up and down and then widened slightly as she stared at the ceiling. She darted backwards, but was a bit too late in doing so. Water poured down, soaking the front of her dress that hadn't pulled back with the rest of her. She stared down at it, and then back to Razzer again, eyes narrowed once more.
She quickly raised her hands again, three more large bolts shooting towards him. And then she bent her leg, fingers reaching into her boot and pulling out a long dagger that she kept hidden there. She threw it hard towards Razzer, hidden within one of the lightning bolts.

Okay, her reflexes were a bit better than Razzer thought. But Ashori still got slightly wet from the water pouring out of the ceiling. That was good. Now she was like a magnet for lightning. Unless she was stupid she wouldn't want to set foot on the ground any more.
Razzer easily dodged the three bolts flung at him, and they struck harmlessly into the destroyed wall behind him. Then, in a move he hadn't anticipated, Ashori reached into her boot. An itch? Razzer didn't think so. She threw another lightning bolt, and this one felt different. Only a moment too late he realized that there was something hidden in the bolt. Violently pulling his arm up, Razzer shot a jet of water at the bolt, but it wasn't enough. The bolt was deflected - it hit another of the pillars - but the water missed the knife, and it hit the edge of Razzer's arm, tearing the bandage. He kept from gasping in pain, but it was hard. A small circle of darkness quickly grew from the point of impact, darkening the tattered bandage. Swearing in his mind, Razzer took a deep breath and began to unfurl the ruined bandage. He had no choice, he couldn't keep it on. The bloody bandages fell to the bamboo mat below with a slightly soggy plop.
Razzer looked at his Ashori, then at his arm. His skin was scarred and charred, as if it had been subjected to repeated torture by fire and knife. Blood seeped through the thin lines of his scars, making an eerie pattern. Barely visible on the back of his hand was a different scar - a deliberate one. If someone looked closely, it seemed to resemble the japanese kanji for "half."
Now not nearly as calm as he previously was, Razzer was pissed. The gloves - bandages - were now off. Moving all available limbs, the mage began bursting all the pipes, completely mangling the walls. Water poured out and onto the carpet. By this point the carpet was oversaturated, and so the water began to flow over the carpet, making about an inch of blood-tinged water on top.
Unless Ashori unleashed all the energy she had, there wouldn't be enough lightning to make any effect in the water. Keeping a blank face, Razzer began sending the water up in jets towards the half-angel half-demon girl floating in the air.
