Mtima's smile brightened with Kianga's eyes, perhaps she'd found someone who liked cubs. It was certainly something she was fond of, cubs were new hosts for souls, and most were quite adorable.
"Yes, I have two cubs," Mtima replied with a nod, "Do you like cubs?" She assumed that Kianga did not have cubs, based mostly on the fact she was travelling and did not mention travelling with anyone.

The females expression lit up and she giggled happily, she knew it, but wasn't it so nice to have more cubs in the Pride Lands?
She then nodded softly to her question.
"Oh I love cubs, they're adorable." She said honestly, she LOVED cubs, they where just so...cute.
So tiny and helpless and dependant on you.
"I hope to have some, some day."

Mtima beamed proudly at the mere mention of how wonderful cubs were, she could agree. Part of her even wanted to believe that some part of her daughter was wonderful as well.
"I hope you do," she commented, looking Kianga up and down, "You'd be a fantastic mother, Kianga." It was an easy thing to say, but she was sure that the lioness before her would do well as a mother- even if it was more than playing with adorable cubs.

The lioness gave a pleasent purr, tail twitching back and forth as she was commented on being a good mother if she ever had cub's.
The thought of little red cublings that where coloured partially like their father...well...it sent shivers up and down her spine.
"Thank you!" She beamed happily.
"I would love to meet your cubs some day."

"It's true," Mtima replied with a pleasant smile at Kianga, also imagining the potential cubs. Despite knowing it didn't always happen, even from personal experience, she couldn't help but imagine many perfect little angels for someone so nice.
"I'm sure they would love to meet you, too," at least, Wahabu would, "You're welcome to come to our den, or perhaps I could bring them here.." Mtima glanced off in the direction of her den, then back at Kianga.

The lioness smiled, the image made her so joyful and excited.
Being a young adult, she was at the age she could ovulate and have cubs, but there was still the fear of miscarrying them if she didn't eat regularly or keep healthy.
However, those fears where NEVER in the female's mind and she just continued to talk to her new friend.
She listened to her, glancing at the den and then back at Mtima.
The lioness was about to say yes, however, that prodding feeling in the back of her mind set in that reminded her of why she'd come here in the first place.
"Thank you very much, that would be lovely." She started. "But maybe another day perhaps? I was so overyjoyed meeting someone new I forgot why I'd came here...I really should be going to tell my parents that I'm here."
She said, looking at her and hoping her new friend wouldn't be offended.

Such fears did not much concern Mtima, for she most certainly would remain healthy as long as her domain existed and there was reason for her to be. Because of this, she was naive to those possibilities in mortal lions.
"Of course, of course," she said without hesitation or losing her smile, "I don't mean to distract you, perhaps we will stop by here in the near future to see you. Now, you go and see your family." Mtima got to her feet, smiling fondly, as if to assure that Kianga that she did not mind and that she should go at once.

The lioness watched her, only to smile happily, getting to her feet before she trotted toward's the path and gave a small look back at Mtima.
Kianga then gave another smile.
"I look forward to meeting your cubs, Mtima." She called happily.
"I hope to see you soon!" With that the good natured lioness trotted back down the stone path, dark ears perked and twitched in every direction as she sought out anything that gave the presence of her family.
She was happy there were new people, so happy about new cubs and now she was going to see her family!
Today had been such a great day!

"I look forward to seeing you again, Kianga," Mtima called after her, watching as the lioness headed off down the path to seek out her family. She stayed standing there for several moments after Kianga disappeared from view and then with a small sigh, she turned to head back to her den.
