Sairin's ears flattened and he huddled down lower. Oh NO. This would NOT do!....
But what could he do!?
Good bye, dignity.

He certainly was an interesting character. Jini blinked and made her way over to his hiding spot, intent on finding out exactly what the trouble was.
"What's wrong?" she asked him, more curious than genuinely concerned. She was sure that it had been her scary self that had done this to him. It never hurt to get some confirmation.
Ego strokes were nice too.

Sairin fluffed. Now she was going to rub it in!
"I'm fine! Nothing's wrong!"
Which clearly proved she had indeed scared him silly.

Jini blinked in surprise. She hadn't expect that answer at all.
The visions of him declaring his undying fear of her were pushed to the side (the cub wasn't quite willing to get rid of them entirely) and she sat down on the grass in front of him.
"I don't believe you," she said slowly.

"Bah. That's because you don't want to." He flicked his tail slightly, maintaining a watchful eye on the cub.

"Isn't that how it always goes?" she asked him, genuinely confused now. Believers believed because they wanted to. Nonbelievers didn't believe because they didn't want to.
The logic made sense to her. The fact that he felt the need to throw it in her face didn't.

"If you say so." Sairin made a face, slowly beginning to sniff at the other cub.
She was so ODD.

That had to be the best thing anybody had ever said to her before. Suddenly, Sairin was very much golden in her eyes.
"I do say so," she nodded calmly and let him sniff her, gently batting at one of his ears with a playful growl.

Oh ho! Sairin was on his feet in a pouncing positrion quickly, before jumping on her tail in a mock attack. Serious as he could be, he was also intellegent enough to know when one was playing.
WIN.

The cub was a big startled by his sudden playful attitude. It didn't take long for that particular emotion to be replaced by excitement, though, and then she was reacting.
Jini jumped so that she (and her tail) were just barely out of his reach. She smirked and swished her tail from side to side.

Sairin grinned. Yay! Violence! And the cub tried to pounce, trying to look as big as possible.

He did managed to pounce her. Jini let out a playful growl, wriggled out from underneath him and ran towards Ihlo and her mother.
She saught shelter behind Ihlo and, feeling quite safe where she was, poked her head out from behind the other cub.
"You can't catch me," she taunted him, sticking out her tongue.

Ihlo had watched this spectacle with glee. Even when he was trying to be big and tough, Sairin was a wimp and it felt so godd to have a female cub make a monkey out of him.
As the game of chase started, Ihlo grinned in delight as Jini came towards her. She acted as a very good shield in fact, occasionally bopping her brother on the nose as if to say 'You shall not pass.'

And they were afraid the move would be bad.. Ishara chuckled, watching Sairin and Ihlo play with the dark female. It was good that they were socialising, but she was a bit worried that Tota might not get in on the fun. She sighed at her youngest son, then carefully stepped so that the cubs didn't continue to use her as a point of hiding. Cute as it was, cub claws COULD be painful.

What could he do but watch? As the youngest, Tota'keke was also very shy. His curiosity had no limits, but meeting new cubs was still new to him--yes, he had a made one or two friends before the move, but he had been occupied with something else on his mind then, and making friends was easier. He stepped behind his mother and watched with curious eyes at the new female cub.
He snorted at his brother, mentally rolling his eyes, but he didn't dare do anything else. What could he do? Ihlo now had the attention of the other cub, and he was starting to feel lonely again. He sighed and decided that if the other cub would rather play with his older siblings, that was okay. He could play by himself; he'd done so before. It was fun. Sorta.
But... well, okay, fine, it wasn't fun, but it wasn't like he had many friends to play with, anyway. He turned away from watching his siblings play with the new cub, too shy (and maybe a little scared) to do anything at all. He sat underneath his mother and began to play around with the tuft of his tail which he had aptly named "Evil Fluffy Thing".
