"Yeah... uh. Ok." He paused. "Now, by call do you mean 'hey Brook!' or do you mean an actual phone call?" He laughed, but it still was a valid question.

Brook dark orbed into the empty room where she'd met Austin before. She was winging this whole thing, but it was working much better then she was expecting, since her neice from the present was/is in New York.

Austin held back a groan. "I hate time travel. People always mess something up." He gave a smile. "Ok, I'm here to help, but I dont see what it is I can do. I dont have my powers anymore... well, I've evidentally got powers now, but now my old ones."

Brook looked at his hand and hesitantly took it. She dark orbed to her aunt's house where Jess was currently living. Her aunt, however, didn't practice magic at all. She entered the house, which appeared to be empty. She walked up to Jess' room, after letting go of Austin's hand.
When she reached Jess' room, Jess was being attacked by demons that Brook had never seen before. Jess was screaming and crying. One of the demons threw a power sucking athame at Jess but Brook stood in the way of it.
"Son of a b***h." She muttered, standing up and pulling the athame out of her, as the demons disappeared. "What the ******** was that?!" Brook asked, picking up Jess.

Austin smelled the demons upstairs and ran, neglecting the fact that he had just smelled a demon when he wasnt anywhere near it.
He got there just as Brook was hit with the atheme, and saw them teleport out. "Are you ok?!
