“Yeah, they do in the water, but walking is very difficult” Glacus said pointing down to his flippers.
“I’m no great artist myself, I just doodle in fantasy stuff, and I use ink and colored pencils. I guess it could be semi realistic.” He responded after a long pause.
“Do… do you like music?” He just said the first thing that popped into his head.

" It will probably just take some time." She smiled at him hopefully.
" Fantasy huh? I usually stick with that as well, and I am sure your a great artist."smiled again, she could seem to stop smiling actually. " I prefer color pencils over markers and crayons, the tend to work better."
She laughed a little at his random comment, yet answered anyway," Yes I do like music, though I am not a big fan of rap I listen to just about everything else. What about you, what music do you like?"

“Crayons? I haven’t used them since I was in elementary school. I never was very good with them.” Glacus returned.
“I like mostly foreign stuff, myself. I never liked rap, I guess you could say I’m a quazi-metalhead. Ever heard of lacuna coil? They’re really good”. Glacus’s mind finally caught up with his speech and he would have blushed again if he were able,
“Sor…sorry” was all he got out.

" Yes, the only things crayons ever did for me was melt in my moms car when I left them in there." She laughed remembering how steamed her mom was when she saw melted green crayons all over her car carpet.
" I have never heard of them, mabey you can show them to me sometime?" She nodded a little, was she flirting? She then saw him stutter again," What are you sorry for? You have done nothing wrong." She cocked her head and her small ears flopped some giving her a puppy-dog look.

“Sure, anytime you want!” Glacus answered.
He saw the puppy face, that his sister used to make when she wanted him to do something, or say somethign on his mind.
“I mean... I just raced through that whole music thing, I didn’t give you a chance to respond.” Glacus’s ear shrugged.
“Hey how did I do that??” he asked feeling dumb, “Bah I’m still not used to this whole fish thing.”

She nodded happily at his answer," Alright!"
"Its ok, I do that sometimes too."She watched his ear shrug," I dont know how you did that, but it was really cool!" After she had gotten over her childishness she put her hand on his fish-like one in a comforting way." Its ok, everyone here has to get used to there new selves, even me." She wiggled her furry, pawed toes.

Glacus felt her hand touch his, and his whole body suddenly got warm, he felt happy, for the first time in weeks. “The walking thing hopefully I’ll sort it out somehow.”
Glacus saw her wiggle her toes, and attempted to do the same, but all he succeeded in was losing his balance and falling on his butt. Luckily he didn’t bring her down with him,
“You have excellent balance” he said and then felt like a dork for wording it like that.

When Glacus fell over she smiled and laughed a little while putting out a hand to help him up." Careful, dont hurt yourself." She blushed at his comment," T-thanks my foster parents made me go to Karate one year." She smiled, not she was stuttering, but why?

“Thanks” he said taking her hand, he used his tail in conjunction with his arms and legs and rose to his feet again.
“Karate? I always wanted to try that, but I got pushed to swim instead. I wonder if that had anything to do with this,” he said motioning to his body.
He noticed her begin to stutter and made a small smile, but he suppressed it instantly, she didn’t make fun of him when he stuttered.

"Ya, it was alright, and swimming? How ironic, though I am sure they knew nothing about this." She gave him a slight smile." So, what do you want to do now?" She stretched a little and took in the sunlight and the air, it was never this good in the city. The weather was one thing she didn't miss.

"Whatever you want." Glacus said with a smile, he felt better around Katina, as though she made this island worth staying on. He just realized, how long had it been since he’d smiled?
He glanced toward the ocean, a cool breeze wafted towards them, and Glacus took a moment to take in the sunlight.

She thought, but she couldn't think of anything to do. Though hen she as with Glacus it seemed as though she would never be bored, but she as sure he as bored out of his mind.
She saw him smile, wow he had a cute smile, even with the fish-like features." Well I cannot think of anything to do." She sighed a little.
