I've read a many Yuffetine fanfics and have been a fan of those ones. I can see this working, it works the same way AeriSeph does right? Man has a void of some kind, girl with opposite personality of man has right qualties to fill that void. Besides opposites often attract. Like magnets!
I support any coupling, as long as there's a good explination. Which reminds me, I have to put some input on the Soldier Boy and Flowergirl topic... sweatdrop

I disagree with this thread. From the start, when they first met, I don't think Vincent had a very good first impression of her. She was too childish, too hyper and there was just something really fishy about her. He disapproved of her actions and was quite suspicious of her ("There's something unnatural in the way Yuffie's acting…"). His suspicions were confirmed when Yuffie stole their Materia and some other objects. This didn't help the fact that Vincent doesn't like her already and just makes him find her even more annoying, untrustworthy and immature.
Yuffie also found him old and boring. I mean, look at what she says! "Thats okay, it was probably depressing anyway." or "Ok. Boring story no 1" and "Huh? Oh great just what I needed." when Vincent joins. That doesn't seem very friendly to me at all. She might not have been serious, but I don't think Vincent appreciates her "jokes" very well. And don't tell me otherwise!

and beside u have it all wrong tifas the one for vincent! At the very beginning, I don't think Vincent liked her very much. In fact, he didn't like ANYONE, for that matter. However, as the game progressed, Vincent really warmed up to her. He started sharing his feelings ("...So glad you're alright, Tifa") and showed obvious care for her. He talked to her more than everyone else (maybe because she makes him feel comfortable?). Tifa never 'looked down' on Vincent, and never called him names and stuff. Instead, she tried to get him to talk to her. They even got closer to each other when Cloud was gone, and they talked and all. Both of them have quite a lot of similarities. Both love, but are not loved in return, and both are quite uncomfortable at sharing their feelings, especially of love. I think Tifa, like Vincent, also hides behind a mask, except hers is a happy mask, while Vincent pretends to be cold and emotionless. I quite like this pairing and I think they are really compatible. While Vincent is cold and depressing, Tifa is warm and cheerful. Isn't this always the case in dramas? I love this pairing very much, so much that I can't imagine another pairing, really. I can't bear the sight of Tifa and Cloud together... Neither do I like Aeris and Vincent and all those. If I ever do read fanfictions, it's ALWAYS Vincent and Tifa. It's actually a very good pairing and I don't think they'll drive each other mad at all. Picture this. It is the end of the game and Cloud has left Tifa again to go look for Aeris for the gazillionth time. Tifa is sick and tired of this. She wants stability. She wants comfort. And she's not getting it from Cloud. She's sad and lonely after he leaves, hurt again for the 1738934th time by Cloud and she's depressed that he doesn't return her love. She meets Vincent, somehow, by chance and he's still the same, brooding over Lucrecia and they look at each other, and they just click. I mean, it's so perfect. She's sad, he's sad, they can comfort each other! It's so sweet. Plus, they look really good together. Go on, think about it. They do, don't they? You have to admit. Yes, I really love this pairing. biggrin VinTif all the way!

That would be awesome!!!!

I am a hellzone... I am already pissed today for what happened, and forgive my f*ckin language...
Spider dude... Respect that you disagree and that you actually took it upon yourself to actually do thsi stuff.... However, gotta ask, have you played DoC yet? As I said in the first post, I said I would use AC and DoC many, many times....
When Yuffie saves Vincent, he awakes and wonders who he is. He may be a bit cold, and she still goes into her teen-like attitude, but Vincent HAS learned to open up to Yuffie. When she asks for a little thanks, he sighes, but still has a hint of kindess under his thank you, much to the embarrassment of Yuffie. Both of them have matured, Yuffie learning to be a bit more of an adult while Vincent learned to open up. Especially at the end, he learns to let go of Lucrecia and move on. There is even somewhat of a smile from him in the ending....
As for VinTif... Respect you, respect your choice. However, I think that Tifa is unwilling to love anyone but Cloud. Despite her love being unrequited, she still longs for him and wishes to be his wife. Cloud has, ironically, to learn from Vincent and learn to let Aeris go and see the love that is in front of him. The girl who he had met long ago and had loved him from the very beginning...
Taylor....
Now, the ending leaves MANY questions. He IS met by Shlalua's sister Shelke, and she is a mix of both herself and Lucrecia. He does, however, get closer to Yuffie on his adventure, saving her life from the darkness when Nero tries to take her body and soul. Whether he goes for Shelke or Yuffie is up to the eye of the beholder. I just believe that the guy would be able to learn to love Yuffie now that he has moved on from Lucrecia.
I am sleepy, gotta pee, got a sore throat, and my Dad didn't get married as planned.... It's a crappy day, and a crappy argument from me...

The girl who he had met long ago and had loved him from the very beginning... Not to change the VincentxYuffie subject but actually Tifa's love isn't unrequited because you can see when Tifa is talking about family and telling Cloud not to run away she has a wolf head ring on her right ring finger. That’s a promises ring. Also Cloud gave that to Tifa before he went to live in Aeris's church. So he actually dose lover her he's just still sad over Aeris. I mean she was a dear friend to him after all. Jhay-R Now, the ending leaves MANY questions. He IS met by Shlalua's sister Shelke, and she is a mix of both herself and Lucrecia. I would love to see Vincent with Shelke but unfortunately she is stuck in that kids body. So it just might end up VincentxYiffie after all. However I think Yuffe needs to grow up a few more years before they would make the perfect couple. I guess you can say that I support the future VincentxYuffie couple.

On the subject of CloTi, I am not saying it is "totally" unrequited. He does love her, it's just that he has to learn to be more faithful to her. Has to show her more love than he is right now before they can be a true couple. I am a big fan of this couple, just want to see Cloud be more lovey dovey with Tifa than he is now...
On Yuffentine, yeah, guess that makes sense. She IS maturing, as I have said before. I think she's ready right now, in her not a girl but not yet a woman stage. (Hate Britney, but I love that line...) Still, if she grew a bit older, maybe 24 or something, then maybe she'll have matured to your expectations. But then again, another famous quote I got is "A 5 year old can have more maturity than an 80 year old." Maturity isn't in years, comes in heart. Yuffie's really growing a lot as a person, and I just see them as becoming a couple after DoC. Whether or not they have children, even I don't think they'll have kids at her age. But, when she's older and takes up her Princess role, I see her having a child with him.

*cough* This might have some spoilers, so only read if you don’t mind that. *cough*
Okay, Final Fantasy VII, I don’t really remember any true interaction between Yuffie and Vincent. He was still too withdrawn to really interact with anyone, so that game doesn’t really count. As for DoC though, well, that’s another story entirely.
In the opening scene, we see Yuffie helping with the evacuation of Midgar. Vincent is there, working with her, but at this point, it’s primarily a buisness relationship only. Vincent heads to the top of the building (with Yuffie yelling about it the whole time) and he sees Hojo there seconds before an explosion starts to make the building fall. Yuffie, who, if she’d had any sense would have already evacuated, comes out of nowhere to rescue him. Here she’s shown her concern for his well being, even at the risk of her own life.
Much later, she risks her life again to save him from Rosso. After Vincent’s woken up, he probably realizes who Yuffie is immediately, but since he knows her so well, he plays along and lets her do her triumphant introduction. He even sounds like he’s laughing at her a little bit when he says, “Hey Yuffie. How’s your head?” after she bangs it. She pouts a little bit, but is probably happy that Vincent is showing a sense of humor, even if it is at her expense.
When he thanks her for the rescue, a lot of true gratitude is in that tone. Yuffie picks up on that and is embarrassed, but also somewhat flustered because she isn’t used to seeing this much emotion in the usually stoic Vincent. He’s already showing that Yuffie has made him open up and after risking herself not once, but twice, she’s showing she’s matured a lot since the first game where she’d seemed very selfish.
After the first battle with Nero, again Yuffie shows up. This time a rescue isn’t needed though and Vincent shows how wonderfully accustomed he is to her actions by shaking his head ruefully when she winds up face-planting into the dirt. Maybe not a romantic action, but it does show that Vincent is no longer capable of being surprised by anything she does.
Fast forward a bit further to the final battle with Nero. Yuffie gets sucked in, and Vincent returns the favor and rescues her for once. After the battle, Yuffie is very sorry to have been unable to help. Again, a sign of maturity in the little ninja.
After the final battle after Vincent is believed dead, it’s Yuffie that steps forward and says his name worriedly. The others have lost a friend, but she’s lost someone who’s grown closer to her. Afterwards though, she seems convinced that Vincent is still alive and she says something like, “Vincent better hurry and get back here. Everyone’s waiting for him.” And by everyone, she means herself.
---
Shelke isn’t really a match for Vincent because her feelings for Vincent aren’t her own, but Lucretia’s. If anything, she harbors a school-girl crush towards Vincent due to the kindness he’s shown her. I can imagine him adopting her later, but never dating her.

Perhaps Square-Enix is doing this because Yuffie and Vincent are the two characters who weren't in any cinematics of the game, and some people possibly didn't even get to see them at all when they played. neutral
It could be like they're making it up to them...and they decided to get them closer in a pairing or something... neutral
