i myself have a few questions.

1) since i am going as edo from FMA, for AnimeLA, i have a blond wig. ( my hair is naturally dark brown.) i have to style it and all that. i already have the braid, which was the fun part mind you. I ALSO plan on dying the wig because its too light for me to be edo, would anyone sugest that? now all i want to fix is the bangs. my problem is that i always see edo cosplays just pull part of the hair aside and thats it. i want to go beyond that. i actuall want the hair to look parted and all that, you get what i mean right? so any help on styleing edos hair will be great, pluse i am still having delimas with the whole changing eyebrow color thing... XD

2) i am also going as Rukia kuchiki from Bleach, ( she is so cool ! X 3)and since i am definatly not going to permanantly dye my hair black, which is what i think her hair color is, i will definatly use temporary dye. but the issue i am having is styling it. i am definatly not going to buy another wig...as my budget cant afford it, so i am growing out my hair so i can style it like hers. if there are any bleach cosplayers her that can help me, i would be so happy for help! T T i suck when it comes to hair...

3) my sister wants to do dark from DN Angel, but she is also having delimas with the h air. any helpe with what you guys can offer would be great. she wants to buy a wig and style it... ( i tell ya, she must be crazy LOL)

PLEASE HELP US!!!

on dieing the wig...i have used that color hair spray type stuff to turn a dark brown wig black, so if you can find it in the color your looking for that should work. wink also i have been told of a method of using felt tip markers and rubbing alochol, but i've never used that method myself. confused

For coloring your eyebrows I would either use brow powder that's really light or face paint. It depends on how dark and thick your eyebrows are. If they are thick I recommend plucking them somewhat (not TOO much) to thin them.

Reticence
Im trying to find a way to gel my hair, almost
Uchiha Sasuke style, but hate the VERY piecy look.

Price is no issue, quality is what counts.

Ive seen some hair that looks quite nice cause it
looks like there is hardly any in it but still keeps its
super stiff form. But the wet, thin, or icky looking
hair is silly. And I was wondering how to get that
authentic Japanese hair, when Im clearly white.

What products do you recommend?
Have any styling instructions or tips?

Comments? Let me know! ^__^

Hairspray can work but it depends on the kind you get as to how "piecy" it will look. I would probably use hair wax or something. A good place to get tips is to look through fashion magazines, especially ones for teens. They tend to have funky haristyles and how-to guides.

You can get eyebrow pencils in different colors, or you can use eyeliner pencils. You don't have to pluck them for pencils.

As far as hair goes, I find that this stuff called Garnier Fructis has a good one, called Surf Hair or something like that, that puts your hair into pieces like guys in anime often have their hair, and it looks pretty good. Plus, as the day goes on, it can hold pretty well and be rearranged and hold the new form.

i honestly think hairspray would be your best bet... you can still have a piecy look for that. im usually a j-rock cospayer... which means i also have had to figure out some pretty crazy hairstyles ^_^ if youre cosplaying sasuke, you'll have t straighten you hair first. in the back of your hair, go piece by piece... hold a piece in the position you want it in, spray (spraying the root is important) and hit it with a blowdryer ^_^ it may not be the best thing for your hair, but its not like youre doing this every day.
