Flerida looked apprehensive, more and more she was glad she opted to stay in Hameln. Certainly there were sights she'd never see or people she'd never meet, but she didn't want to put herself at risk or worry those she cared about. "I as well. Can you play that?" she asked, her wing gently brushing against the Lute.

Aurora looked out of the corner of his eye the lute that was being shouldered on his back. "Yes I can actually, would you like to hear me play?" He asked his tone sounding hopeful. AUrora was no usually a pridful person but he was very proud of his skill wih singing and playing he lute.

Flerida gave Briar a warm smile and nodded, "That would be splendid." Tucking her wings back behind her, Flerida stopped walking and made herself comfortable on the ground. The thought that a person could play while walking never occured to her.

Aurora smiled and then slipped his pack off his shoulder and then planted it on the ground. He swung his lute around so that his fingers had easy access, he strung a couple notes and then make a few adjustments with the strings and then strummed again.
Now in perfect tune he stopped and gave a bit of a laugh, "Any requests?"za

The teen shook her head, "Nothing comes to mind, but I'd love to hear your favorite song." She suggested, hoping she could get a better idea of Aurora's character.

His favorite song? Aurora had to stop and think on that one. Many song titles flited through his head, finally he setteled on a song he had recently becmoe attatched to. Strumming a couple cords he started to play.

The music faded away, until Aurora was standing there silent. his face seemed wraught with emotion. But it slowly faded and he looked up to Riddy.

As the Aurora played, the words of the song mingled with the melody. Though Flerida encountered many unfamiliar terms, she still couldn't help but feel a sharp pain in her heart. She didn't cringe, nor did she make any gesture to show how her heart was crying out. Save, that is, for the tears that seemed to trickle down her cheek onto the grassy ground.
As the droplets landed on the grass, the few green blades instantly turned into stone. Flerida didn't seem too concerned about it, recalling the effects were only temporary.
After wiping away the small stream that sprung from her eyes, Flerida smiled and clapped in appreciation. "You have such a lovely voice, Briar."

Aurora was surprised to see that Riddy had been crying, he forgot his own emotions and knelt down and put a hand on Riddy's shoulder. "Hey are you okay?" he asked hoping that Riddy was indeed alright.
He only barely registered that his song was the cause of her tears though he wasn't exactly sure why. THen again the words held a deep meaning for him.

She nodded, mindful that her tears don't touch Aurora. She didn't think he'd take having a limb turned to stone as lightly as Ravji did. "Yes, I'm quite alright. Your song greatly moved me." She explained, forcing a smile to dance upon her lips for emphasis.
"If you don't mind my asking, but did you write it yourself?" She asked, getting to her talons.

Aurora felt relieved and shook his head at her question.
"sadly no, though i intend to learn how to write my own lyrics in the future." he stated with a smile and then stood up and offered a hand to help Riddy up.
"I am glad you liked it though." he continued feeling relieved that he hadn't caused her any emotional stress.

"It must be nice to be so talented." Flerida sighs wistfully, "All I know how to do is cook and clean." she chuckles, deciding to change the subject else she bring Briar's mood down with her inadequacies.
"Have you met many other children like us?" she asked. While Flerida did not know what she was exactly, her guardian had told her she arrived through unconventional means.

Aurora noticig her mood shift down placed his lute back on his back and shouldered his backpack again. "Well i could teach you how to play, if you really wanted." he offered, as he then gave her his hand to help her to her feet.
"Met many others? I have met a few, Medeine, Ravji, Kinnara, Aekepi, Zakis, Ure...and Tasius.." he uttered the last name as if it tasted foul in his mouth. but quickly regained his composure.
"So yes i suppose I have met quite a few. Never realized it until you asked." He replied feeling a bit in awe of how many souls had touched his life. He then returned the question eager to learn more about Flerinda.
"How about yourself? You are very pretty, have you gotten a boyfriend yet?"

((Riddy's already on her feet XD though technically I refered to it as her "talons"))
Flerida recognized some of the names Briar mentioned, "I've met Medeine, Ravji, Aekepi and Tasius as well." She said with a smile, though it faltered slightly at Aekepi. She still didn't quite like how he laughed at her. "And two brothers named Ryose and Snowe." at their names her mouth turned into a very brief but visible frown.
Riddy felt herself crimson when the other Fable asked if she had a boyfriend. She didn't understand why she felt funny being asked that, she did have a friend who was a boy. But she took a guess that Briar was referring to the same sort of 'boyfriend' Huni was teasing her about. "I wouldn't say I'm pretty, but I don't have a boyfriend. Unless you're asking about a friend who happens to be a boy." she responds with a tilt of her head.

Aurora smiled and then tilted his own head. "You are silly, you are very beautiful. I am nto sure why you don't think so." he complimented her and then looked down the road they had been walking.
"well I hope I do not seem rude or too forward but I am surprised you don't have a boyfriend yet. There is no one who sets your heart all a flutter?" he asked sounding very much like a girl gossiping.

Continuing on the road, Flerida had to think very hard about Aurora's question. She had to dismiss the compliment, it just didn't sit well with her. She appreciated it, she truly did, but she just wasn't accustomed to being told she was (to some extent) attractive.
"I don't see why it would be rude to ask," she shrugged with pursed lips, tapping a finger thoughtfully against her chin. "Someone who sets my heart all a flutter?" her thoughts returned to Ravji, and while her heart seemed to beat slightly faster, it was her stomach that made any sorts of motion. "I... suppose there is someone. But I don't know if it's just because I'm grateful to him... what about you? Do you have a 'friend' of sorts?"
Girl, boy, Flerida didn't really know the terms or the issues of semantics involved. As long as the 'friend' was mentioned, she was certain Briar would understand what she meant.
